The main benefit of this Baskin Robbins is it's location along Randall Road. Cost for two single scoops of ice cream with one waffle cone was $9. I did appreciate that they had a few non-dairy options, which were located on the right sided sections. The location itself is not as clean as you would hope for, and there was only one staff member working that we could see. It's a nice place for a treat, and since it's along Randall Road it is quite busy and may be hard to find parking. read more

I understand some people may be upset about the service and what not at this place I can tell you hands-down this place gets really busy. The people in there who are serving the ice cream are very helpful and doing the best that they can. I really do appreciate every time I go in here and they've always been friendly and went above and beyond with service every time, I'm getting ice cream with my family. I order several holiday cakes from this location. Customer service is excellent! The owners are helpful and very friendly. I was so surprised he remembered me from my other orders. He actually knew what holiday cakes I have ordered in the past. They will keep getting my business. The staff is so friendly and always greats you with a hello and smile when you walk in. This place has no attraction at all. There is no enough staff. The place is dirty too .They ran out of brownie. So had to settle for something else. The smoothies are also not that great either. The ice cream is the only saver. The service is also not that good either. So looking for a better ice cream place next time. read more

I like the BR ice creams for their flavor, freshness and variety. They keep changing seasonal flavors so you don't get bored with the same flavors. You can find BR close to you and esp in malls. I tried the winter white chocolate it had cherries! I loved it! I agree with some reviews. The guy ( possibly a manager/owner) hardly talks, never smiles and wears dirty clothes! so 1 star less! read more

Every time I go to this location, I feel like the guy working behind the counter is a bit rude. This last experience was probably the worst, because it felt like he was barking out statements or staring at us awkwardly. Someone really has to work with this Baskin Robbins on customer service. I think I'll go to the Crystal Lake location from now on. read more

Baskin Robbins always contours up childhood memories after 20+ years, mint chocolate chip is STILL my number one. Sure it might not be super premium artisan ice cream, but sometimes familiarity trumps real ice cream...sometimes it even trumps real homemade ice cream. The other night, the BR craving hit big time, so we packed up our dogs in the Wrangler (sans top...thank you summer) and hit the road in search of a Baskin Robbins. Did you know that not ALL of them are situated inside Dunkin Donuts?! Mind officially blown. Anywho, once we figured out where this place actually was (next to Jewel, if you were wondering), the hubs hopped out of the car and returned lickety split with 2 orders of ice cream in, wait for it, waffle cones. Yes, the holy grail of cones (sorry ladies, he's all mine). When I was a kid, my parents were way too cost conscious to ever splurge on a waffle cone, so I usually settled for the classic sugar cone. Tonight, I felt like a queen. Their mint chocolate chip ice cream never disappoints. That's one of the great things about BR, consistency. While I'm not always up for conventional ice cream, Baskin Robbins will always hold a soft spot in my heart (even though there's no soft-serve involved). read more

If i could rate this 0 stars, i would. Their service is not only god awful, but extremely slow. I come here on my weekend nights and wait 20 minutes to get 2 banana splits with nobody else waiting for ice cream. I've been coming here for weeks and it seems to get degradingly worse almost every time, in terms of service. Terrible place for seriously overpriced ice cream. I just went there and got a double scoop of Chocolate chip in a cup and when the girl went to give it to me I said I ordered a double scoop. She says that is a double scoop. There was barely one scoop in the cup and it was $5.50. You can go to the Dunkin donuts/Baskin Robbins on Randall in Carpentersville and get the same thing for $3.00. My sister and I go here every other day or so after a cardio workout at the gym! We both get the cappuccino blasts as our morning coffee! The lady is so sweet! I had an issue where the receipt said I payed $10 but my debit card said I payed $13 on the mobile app! I asked my bank about it and they said I could either put in a claim or I could resolve it with them. Of course I went to them and asked what they could do about it. I didn't want to put a "claim" on there business. The owner made it right by making me a cappuccino blast on the house! I still give them my business and love going there! I love supporting businesses that have friendly workers, especially when the owner is so nice! They also give you coupons on the back of the receipts for frozen drinks ($1 off)! read more

My daughter and I came in for a simple scoop of your cotton candy icecream, and sadly it was a horrible way to end our day. They closed at 8:30 pm and we had arrived a little after 8. There was approximately 13 people in line, there was a group of 4 or 5 being helped as we walked in. This is what I find to be very odd, every single time I've been to a Baskin Robbins they actually make and get you what you order before you pay. One younger guy was just standing around and walking back and fourth from the back room back up to the register, watching the other older male actually working on the register. One lady infront of me even had walked out after waiting awhile. As we all just stood there at 8:20 without even being helped during the time waiting. The man working on the register mumbles something about the register to the man standing in front of me.... at this time the younger guy is still just standing there. They claim the register couldn't take payments, I had asked if they could still accept cash and the answer was no. In my opinion it was a very clever way to get everyone out by 8:30. read more

This is more for the BR customer support experience than store related. But it all started at the store. I wish there were a way to give no stars. I received an email gift cert for $10. I printed the email with the QR code on it. The instructions on the printed page state "To pay, the cashier scans the QR code". When I took the print out to the store the cashier told me I need to down load the BR app and scan the QR code into the phone for the coupon. After several attempts to scan the QR code, he provided me a receipt that states "mobile app/gift card ** declined **. Receipt stated there was a $0.00 balance. I down loaded the BR app, but there is no function to scan the QR code within the app, so that was incorrect info. I called the BR support line. Was on hold for 15 mins, then transferred to another line where the recording stated the hold time was 'less than 7 mins". After being on hold 25 mins I had to hang up to take a work call. Later that morning I called the line again. I did a balance check and was informed the gift cert did indeed have a $10 balance. So I selected to speak to a rep. The recording indicated the wait time is "less than 20" mins.. yeah right. 36 mins later a rep finally picked up and is issuing a physical gift card. So what was supposed to be a nice gesture from my employer turned into a big pain in the butt. BR, you need to get it together. Your online support app is a joke (I have 26+ years in software development and management) and you need to make redeeming a gift card not such an unpleasant experience. I think I will go to DQ or Cold Stone next time. read more
