Amazing atmosphere with a spa-like energy, this place has an inviting aura even from a distance! The staff is quick with a greeting and an offer to provide assistance if needed. A variety of bath and body items can be found throughout this smaller location with a personal favorite being the mini bath bombs in Mickey shapes! It smells amazing and you'd be hard pressed not to find something to enjoy here when you shop around. It is a smaller location for the brand itself, but considering the location inside of the resort, it makes sense. For a Basin store inside of a Disney resort, this is a neat little stop when you're in the Grand Floridian Resort! My biggest complaint is how cramped it feels in there. It's like being in a hallway that curves to one side. But, space issues aside, it's a great shop. The people working here are always very friendly and helpful. They have the same products you'd expect from a bath/spa shop, including a make-your-own candle area! The prices are what you should expect. It's Disney property, you know what you're in for. But, they do have some Disney-exclusive merch, which is neat. Soaps and scents aren't my first choice for shopping, but my wife and kid love the place, so I love it by association. Disney is a very clean Park, especially for the amount of people that visit every day. But hot Florida days, plus mass crowds, you still feel gross. Take the monorail to the Grand Floridian and enter a small oasis of sweet scents at Basin White. Just like other bath product stores with bath bombs, soaps, and more this has a very strong smell that you don't even have to enter to enjoy. It is such a treat to get a break from the smells of Disney. Then you can pick up a product or two to carry a little piece of that scent with you. They have a little bit of everything you were expect a luxury bath store to have. The soaps make a great gift- some of them even have little Mickey Mouse shapes inside. I haven't tried their bath bombs, but I've seen some of the videos and it really makes me wish I had a bath tub! They smell great and some of them have fun Disney surprises. Since I am in this tub-less living situation, I tried bought a few of their shower bombs during my most recent Disney trip! As the name of this store suggests, it carries their luxury items (which makes sense, since it's located in the Grand Floridian). The smell of the store alone is enough to draw you in; all around the store there's soap, bath bombs, and moisturizers with samples - so much to sniff. The soaps are probably the items that attract most people to browse - there's a huge selection with many of them bring Disney-inspired. I like to give the bars as gifts for my staff when I'm on vacation - the choices make it easy to find something for everyone. I don't really shop for the other items - a lot of the scents are geared more towards women and have a more feminine smell, but if you are in the market for those things they have an abundance of them. Basin White is the luxury version of Basin you find at Disney Springs. It is the only Basin on property to sell their body butters and their signature Basin White scent. The body butters are priced at $17 which is a little steep but a little goes a long way, so it can last you up to 6-months before it finishes. This store is a lot smaller than the Disney Springs store, and is located inside of the Grand Floridian on the 2nd floor. I am not a fan of their bath bombs and their soaps aren't anything to write home to, but for those who do not visit Disney often, stocking up on goodies is imperative. Passholders! I was in Grand Floridian for something else but when I saw they had different body items got lured. But don't think it's an alternative to Lush. I tried to get same service, warm homey feeling and attentiveness as Lush but didn't happen. They were somewhat friendly on the sales floor the manager and cashier was a bit off. Felt weird to come in without a purchase. Only bought lip scrub and left. They didn't have real knowledge of ingredients. For a family owned store you couldn't tell at all; very strange vibes, no charm, felt like a number. Totally different vibe. I had to try research ingredients for myself. Not all natural. 5 stars for the products! I took off 1 for lack of knowledgeable store personnel. Wait what finally a place better than Lush?! I have been a Lush addict for the past 10 years but I have recently discovered Basin White and I am so happy I did! They have an amazing selection of bath bombs, bath salts, shower gels, soaps, fragrance, face masks, lip balms, and body scrubs. The products are all natural and smell heavenly! I have used other bath bombs before from local companies like Nourish in Savannah and was disappointed in the lack of scent and how it didn't do anything for my bath. This was not the case with Basin White!! The bath bombs smell so amazing and the scent actually lingers. The coconut lemongrass one I just used made me feel like I was enjoying a tropical relaxing bath. The bath salts are very fine and you can add them to the water or even mix them onto damp skin for a bit of exfoliation. The early grey lip balm is my favorite and I really enjoy the jasmine and Sakura solid fragrances. The soaps not only smell lovely they have intricate designs from Mickey's to flowers to cake to even a mustache! They have so many amazing designs that these make excellent gifts. The only downside is that they are only located in 2 cities, Orlando and Las Vegas! In Orlando they are located at the Grand Floridian and also at Disney Springs and these 2 sites carry exclusive Disney products like soaps and bath bombs with little Mikey's in them which are adorable. The products are awesome and the prices I think are reasonable. Definitely 5 stars for the products! They are also available online. I was however disappointed with the lack of knowledge of their staff. For a high end store their entire sales staff was a bunch of college aged girls who did not really know much and would basically just read of the posted sign or the label if I had a question about anything. This was rather annoying and it would've been nice if this store was actually staffed with associates familiar with the products. Overall, I am glad I can buy online if I can't make it to a store in Orlando or Las Vegas. While I was at Disney World last week I made it a point to check out the Grand Floridian, which I had heard about for years but had never been to. As soon as I got off the Monorail and stepped into the Grand Floridian, I saw the Basin White store over to my left. It caught my attention right away and before I went to explore the resort, I went inside the shop. I'm so glad I did! Basin White is a beautiful shop filled with the most lovely soaps, shampoos, bubble baths and other bath treatments such as fizzing balls, etc. The store was impeccably clean and the girl working was very nice and helpful. I ended up walking away with a container of different fizzly balls called Bath Bombs of various scents/ingredients. Some of the ones I got were Almond Coconut (with cocoa butter), Apricot Chamomile (which I tried today in the bath - the scent was lovely and relaxing), Coconut Grove, etc. I also bought a bath gel in the scent Paradise. It smells divine! But my favorite thing of all is the Pink Sugar scent. I bought a bottle of the lotion and I'm so glad I did. It smells sweet but isn't overpowering, yet the smell lightly lingers all day. I love that stuff. I hope Basin White opens more stores up around the country, especially in NYC and LA. I absolutely LOVE this store. It is pricey, but if you're a lady who likes to be pampered, you'll love this store as well! The bath bombs are the bomb! I recommend going with the small ones and filling up a tube for $20. You can fit 7 of them in one tube. They have other scents in the larger bath bombs, but it only takes a half of those per bath. One of the sales women in the store recommended to me when I purchase the large ones to break them in half to get more for your money. These things make your bath such a relaxing experience. Also, if you have any type of muscle aches or pains, I highly recommend the "Therapy" bath bomb as they have epson salt in them and I guarantee it will help take some of those aches and pains away. I also really love the bath salts. If memory serves me correctly, they are $3.99 per tube and last for quite a few baths because you only need use 2-3 capfuls of the salts for each bath. They come in such heavenly scents, which, again, makes your bath so relaxing! They also have many soaps with designs in them and the scents compliment the designs, such as chocolate and cherries. It would take me forever to start naming them all, you'll just have to go see for yourself, but I'm sure you'll find many you love. I purchase those and keep them in a soap dish in my guest bathroom. They look lovely and I always get asked, "where did find the soap you have in your bathroom?" LOL There are so many other wonderful items in this store such as shampoo and conditioner bars, soy candles you make yourself, etc. This list is endless! The same store is also located at Downtown Disney Marketplace and I love it just as much - same items. Although I do find the customer service to be a little better at Basin in The Grand Floridian. I could close my eyes and know when I am near a Basin, or even a Basin White for that matter. The scents, oh the scents! But, I did just learn the difference between Basin and Basin white, which you wouldn't really notice it at first glance. Regular Basin, the one at DT Disney is very flirty and has tons of the scents; Lavender, Lemongrass, Oatmeal Honey... tons of scents. However, the Basin White offers different scents if the tons weren't enough, ie. Almond Coconut, Apricot Chamomile, Love Letter. Also, it appears they are using rarer, more luxurious materials too. ie. The Bath Bombs at this location are dipped in shea butter to make them more moisturizing. Nice luxurious touch. So it's a more sophisticated Basin. Prices are just as steep of course. So, this used to be a shoe store back in the day and to my delight, when I revisited the Grand Floridian this evening it's newly remodeled and filled with glorious Basin products! It's a smaller location that the counterpart but it's intimate and inviting. There are sinks to test the exfoliation and scents and there is a mini bath that employees can do bath bomb demos in, it's so cute, I want it for my puppy. When we entered there were two employees to the left but neither of them moved from unpacking boxes behind the register which was odd for the Grand Floridian and Basin for that matter. I am used to being greeted. It was fine though, we were just looking around and smelling. My favorite thing to do here. I'm not sure what type/quality of ingredients they use in their bath products, but they smell more artificial than Lush's comparable bath bombs. The store is beautiful, and the theming for Disney is an experience all its own! It's a fun pit stop for souvenirs or gifts. However, I have a personal preference for the vegan and fresh items from Lush! Ahhhh, my favorite family-owned soap shop. Everything is handmade and free from the gross stuff. They even cut the soap inside the shop, which reveals their signature cute designs! I got the mini bath bombs, which were fairly priced at $6.99 for 6. They also sell larger bath bombs for $4.99+ and have lotions, salt scrubs and more bath goodies. When they opened they were a total Lush rip off in a lot of ways. They create and carry a ton of products that are knock offs of ones from Lush, even with similar names, signage etc. However, Lush does it better so its best to hit Lush and get the real thing. Basin's bath bombs are not as great as Lush, they are smaller, dont fizz as long, are not as fragranced as Lush's and seem to be more oily. They soaps they stock are actually from a brand called Primal Elements who sells their stuff to many other stores, and lets them repackage it. I do love these soaps though and its usually the only thing from Basin I buy. But its still fun to walk around and sniff everything. read more

Offering different scents and products than the Basin in Disney Springs, this one can be found on the second floor of the Grand Floridian. This store is much smaller than the original but not nearly as crowded. There are still lots of soaps to sample or gift baskets to purchase. There are two sinks set up in the center where you can test sugar or salt scrubs. What I liked more about this location is they have real towels set out to dry your hands as opposed to the paper towels in Disney Springs. The prices are high but the quality and options these stores provide know no bounds. I love their chamomile soap! For a 25 year old who harbors no desire to mingle with Mickey, shopping is a nice thing to do in Disney World. Basin White, though small, is a wonderful shopping stop inside the super gorgeous Grand Floridian resort. This store sells personal care products focusing on bath stuff (bath salts, solid bar shampoos/conditioners, etc). Basin White has wonderful scents and the store itself smells lovely. It seems like Basin likes to put liquid stuff into solid form. I, for example, bought a bar of moisturizer. Not moisturizing soap but moisturizer. It's a HUGE bar and smells so great (I got the Basin White scent). I've had the chance to try it out a couple of times now, and it's a very good moisturizer. And unlike most beauty lotions out there, the scent lasts all day. Because of this, I keep smelling my arm all day at my desk like a total creeper. Anyways, I would highly recommend their products. I'm kind of bummed now that I didn't get more than one thing. Also, the salesgirls are dressed like puritans/pilgrims which is super amusing to me. read more

Basin White is a great place to peruse while waiting for the monorail to the Magic Kingdom; its small enough that you can see it all in under 10 minutes but still get to experience their wonderful products. I picked up three large bath bombs under their 3 for $12 and can't wait to try them! They're a generous size and smell lovely; one even has Mickey sprinkles in it! I give this place 4 stars because it's impossible to get any help from the girls working here. I'm a former LUSH sales ambassador and felt really disappointed that there were no bath bomb demos happening, no samples to try, not to mention a simple "hello!" Or "welcome!" From the staff. The only time the girls working there glance your way is when you have a credit card in your hand. They all want to do anything but talk to their customers. It was really off putting! Awful customer service . Will never return there. I purchased 4 soap bars at the Basin White at the Grand Floridian. However when I got home I saw they had only placed 3 soaps in my bag. I called the store and they said they had no way of verifying if I was telling the truth. I spent over $100 that day and the soap value was under $7. It's not the money but the principal. I asked for a refund or for a new soap to be delivered. They referred me to Customer Service and they were equally useless. It's a shame they don't value their customers. I stayed in Disney this past summer at, you guessed it, the Grand Floridan Resort and Spa. I had stayed there once before a couple of years ago. This place was still there back then, but this time I actually decided to buy something. Let me tell you, it was worth it. Something about their soaps is different than regular soap. This is a brilliant bath products shop in Downtown Disney. It has lovely wooden interiors. They sell really individual products - beautiful soaps with pretty scenes on, such as beaches. Bath bombs, body products and face products are also stocked here. You can also scoop jars full with bath salts and bath powder. They are really vibrant fun products, and are all very natural. They also stock a few products with Mickey Mouse themes - soaps and bath bombs. read more
