The sign said open. There was NO OTHER VEHICLE in either bay. When my husband said Bud Clary mechanic, Jarret, had called about our rig he still refused as he was working on a cat house. The sign said OPEN! I do not care what an alleged great mechanic he may be.....he will NEVER get our business. This is horrible. Why would he tell a mechanic at another service establishment to have us limp our way there if he only intended to have us make an appointment? He should be ashamed of himself! Seriously, I will do anything I can to let people know what a mean person he is...... We do not need business leaders like this in our community, we have enough bullshit already!

To say the least AJ helped us out more than he knows…read more.. While on a 6-hour drive to Spokane to visit our parents and family our 2016 Kia Optima broke down near George WA. The weather conditions were horrible...wind had the temperatures in the low teens and was incessant. We managed to limp into a gas station where our cars breakdown was complete. Two Sr's and their 14-year-old Golden Retriever are now on foot in the freezing cold on a Saturday afternoon! Now what? We searched for an auto repair shop and landed on AJ's Performance Automotive repair about 25 to 30 miles away in Ephrata WA. We called AJ's and I told him about our car issues, and he then informed me that they were closed for the weekend (as were all the stores and shops in the area with few exceptions) but he would get right on it first thing Monday. He then recommended Tow Pros Towing Services and said he would call them and send them out. He did and they were hooking up our car within 45 minutes and we were on our way to AJ's shop. Our amazing experience with Chris Bennett of Tow Pros is a separate review I will post shortly. Monday came and AJ was true to his word and had our car in and diagnosed with number 4-cylinder misfire. He pulled the spark plugs to find they were missing a tip on #4 and the other spark plugs needed replaced as well. So, he order the parts and basically performed a tune up...only to find the #4 cylinder was still missing when tested. So, he pulled the plug and snaked a scope down into cylinder to find #4 cylinder valve had a chunk taken out of it. Unfortunately, engine replacement or rebuilding was beyond the shops scope of services. AJ then generously remove the new parts and only charged me for the mechanic's time. Thank you, AJ, for your help, kindness and generosity and introducing us to Chris Bennett of Tow Pros. You are a true professional with integrity and honor. Our Outback broke down yesterday on a remote Eastern Washington country road with spotty cell…read moreservice. It was very hot and actually a rather desperate situation. Yuri spoke to us promptly after we contacted our insurance co's Roadside Service arm. His encouraging tone and proffered personal cell number were reassuring. Midway through orientation, we changed the original, smaller, city we had chosen as a destination to a larger one, somewhat farther away (there was a dealership there). Yuri was cheerfully adaptable and said he would drive us and the vehicle anywhere. He was very diligent about the actual towing and safety issues regarding our car and us. He was sensitive to our comfort in his rig and offered to stop anywhere along what was a pretty long ride. Yuri has honesty and moral values we appreciate. So without any reservation, we would recommend Yuri and Basin Towing to anyone. This man is a Godsend when someone is in a dangerous and difficult situation. Basin Towing sets a high mark other emergency services should shoot for. We would use Yuri any time.

Once he received my service call for a tow he called me to let me know what his estimated ETA for his arrival was which was very much appreciated because I was very worried I would be waiting for many hours. Then when he was about 15 minutes away from arrival he text me to let me know and said it was OK for me to ride back in the tow truck which was awesome because my husband was at work and I was over 20 miles from home so it would have been a long walk in the dark down hwy 17. When he arrived he was super polite, handled my vehicle with care and was well prepared for how to seemlessly get my little car loaded & hooked up to be towed safely. I was in the middle of a VERY long hold on a phone call with the delivery company I was working for & delivering a Home Depot order when he arrived, he was so polite & asked for my permission to move my car how he needed to position it accordingly. When I got into the tow truck he was super friendly and chatted with me the entire way home so the ride wasn't awkward at all. When we arrived at Les Schwab he again unloaded my car with care, precision & skill. I also still didnt have a ride home even though we were back in Moses Lake so I was going to walk home but he gave me a ride back from Les Schwab to my home in Knolls Vista. He knew I was a delivery driver & that I was in the middle of a Home Depot delivery when my car blew the tire. He offered to take the bag of cement I was delivering with us so I didnt have to come back to get it before I returned it to Home Depot. Yuri was ABSOLUTELY Aaamazing Start to Finish! There was'nt anything that he could have been more amazing at. Today was a bad day for me because Im down & out to be able to work and make money.... but Yuri TOTALLY Saved the day!!!! My car is where it needs to be for repair & Im home safely. He literally provided the ABSOLUTE BEST Service I have EVER had! If I could give him 500 STARS I would.
