DELICIOUS!!! This restaurant should have 5 out of 5 stars. It's a little hole in the wall kind of…read moreplace and by the outside, probably not your first pick. But don't judge a book by its cover, it was by far some of the best Thai I've ever had. We order off their lunch menu, pad Thai and green curry, spice level medium. Thai is my favorite and I often make it at home and I love spice. However, their medium spice is burn your lips and mouth off spicy. My eyes were watering and my nose running! I would definitely get mild next time. I've eaten a lot of other Thai and always order medium, but their medium is very very hot. Our waitress was super friendly and sweet! We got our order in right away and it was brought out very quickly. Super authentic and absolutely delicious! I'll definitely be going back soon to try more dishes!

Went on a little trip to Champaign and friend and I were looking for somewhere to stop by. We…read moredecided to try this place out but we were a bit worried when we saw the # of reviews. The parking lot was empty when we got there (this will be bc no one is eating dinner at 4 pm except us lol). We got a Thai iced tea, pad Thai, calamari, and mango sticky rice. The waiter was very welcoming. The food is a little bit on the pricier side but it's very good. I wish people left more reviews, because as soon as we left it started filling out with other guests. I would definitely come again for a nice refreshing Thai tea and the mango sticky rice (and to try out more food)!

Checked out the quieter Urbana location of this Thai restaurant and it was okay to be honest. It…read morecertainly isn't a fancy looking place inside or outside. Bangkok Thai & Pho 911 has an off the beaten path feel to it. Has lots of auto garages and a creepy motel. The prices are kind of high for portions and quality. Basic looking inside but they have a bar. It's not much of one as it's still more of a restaurant. The menu has lots of the classics and is a pretty great variety. Get noodles, pho, or rice among the main choices. It's about $15 for an entree. The noodle items is what we got and there was the classic ones. I got the Pad Kee Mao. This has basil, carrots, eggs which I left off, onions, peppers, and choice of a protein, and I got it with tofu. She got the Pad Woon Sen. This is glass noodles and vegetables with choice of protein, and tofu was the choice too. Basic tasting to be honest. There was also the level of spiciness and it was hot but still wasn't a lot popping as far as the flavor it seems. For certain it's not fancy. It's got another location on campus while this one is on Cunningham without much going on around it. They're closed Tuesdays.

Unfortunately, I was kind of disappointed by their take out. Portion size was okay for Thai food take out but the pad see ew was very bland and underwhelming.
