I read so many reviews suggesting Trang, or Ms. Kim, or Linda--I didn't know who to choose, so I quickly wrote all the names down on the check-in when I arrived. As we sat, we saw how impressively each one of the children received professional and wonderful haircuts. There were over ten children in the salon at once. I was very impressed by how the team expertly worked with each child. I can't express enough how appreciative I am of Linda. When Linda asked me what I wanted for my son's hair, I told her, I would just really like to have the back of his hair fixed. She took a very quick glance and said okay and asked if I would like the front trimmed. I wanted to keep it long. That's all it took. She understood the assignment. She reached over and pulled out a remote controI. She asked if my son would like to play a video game. He was so surprised. He said yes and she handed him the remote control. From there, I could hear her self-talk while trimming, "okay, so blend in." I watched and could tell as she began applying her years of experience. My son never flinched for a moment even when she was using the razor around his ears and the back of his neck. Later, my son was so comfortable with her that he let her know that he would like her to cut the front of his hair shorter. It's always a relief knowing that your child can finally sit through a haircut and not feel scared or uncertain about how the experience is going to go. Thank you, Linda and team.

Since it's our first time and first cut ever, we got the special first cut package which came with the certificate. After cutting the hair, my toddler got a balloon and a lollipop. It also helped that there's a tv in front of the cars (chair) which distracts the babies/toddlers/kids while getting their haircut. We had a positive experience and will surely be back for more haircuts in the future. (Maybe just not on a weekend).

Yesterday' I scheduled an appointment at 3pm and they were on time! Thank goodness, I have two kiddos who hate waiting. This was going to be their 1st professional haircut at 3 and 7 years old. My 7 year old who is on the spectrum was paired with Dani who was absolutely amazing. They cut his hair with swiftness and precision even while he was fussy and moving a lot. He wasn't enjoying the experience but I expected that. I consoled him the whole way and they cut and buzzed his hair and had so much patience and knowledge on how to work with people on the spectrum. My 3 year old was paired with another lady who did fantastic as well as he was fidgeting around playing with the seat he was in and playing with the toys they have there. When I walked in initially it was kind of a zoo. Kids everywhere, so we took a walk and came back a few minutes later and people cleared out. I can go on and on, but I'll say this, I am fortunate and grateful that there is business that caters to children and children on the spectrum. As a special education teacher, I was impressed most notably with Dani and their knowledge and patience on working with kiddos on the spectrum. I tipped decently, but wish I was able to tip so much more. Impressed.

Lynn, tested my hair before feeling comfortable doing it, being honest if it was not recommended, even the test strand was with care & time. With two options, a traditional perm & healthier option. Since I have long hair and wanted spiral coily hair, this took five hours, BUT, Lynn cared for every individual strand! She genuinely took her time grabbing and perfecting every strand. Sounds funny, but eh, at least I don't have the mushroom top head look. My thick hair and the cut I want is not an easy hair cut to do. The description sounds funny, but with gel it's a clean military look or akin to school kids going to grade school. Not my thing but, the maturity aura can be fixed with longer hair on top. Believe the best way to say is it that I have a heart shaped face. That means the top of my hair should look like an egg to my preference. The haircut I want isn't for the faint. Mess up and you cannot fix it. It's why most fades on my hair type sticks out and is not flat on the sides like a flat top. Once Mindy understood I was willing to take the risk, I was rewarded in something that many hairdressers cannot cut and or is willing to do. Which is to fade free hand, then rat tail comb fade the edges on top with a clipper and texture with scissors. Mind you I watched a long time before giving her the go ahead to take the risk. Sounds a lot of work right? Hair dressers will complain doing this type of cut. It's a lot of work, will take time. Mindy does this for me. And for that I tip well. To be fair, I get my hair cut once a month. But it's usually the best way to learn as the hair has grown out and everything needs to be redone again. Note. Tip what you can, I usually tip hourly wage max to half. Mindy gets more, that's how much I like the cut. 15 to 25 percent minimum wage is a good tip. That being said Mindy takes time, is patient, and remembers you. Everything you would want in a hairdresser. I really should come every two weeks but I got things to do. Mindy does textbook style hair cutting. Which doesn't work with my hair cause you don't really expect an Asian with an Afro like hair type, thick, and straight. Takes time to learn cultured hair types. My hair is a rarity. Mindy learned quickly how to cut and tame it. Qualities of a true hair dresser. Note. I got my hair cut by Lynn too. She's good, but she's busy and I believe she understands my haircut and hair is annoying to do. The guy and new girl are good too. Just a preference and patience to be had.
