To make matters worse, my daughter lives 200 miles away so we could not practice together. A friend of mine recommended Fred Astaire Studio and I decided to give it a try. Let me say that I could not imagine a better experience. I had a pleasure of learning with Dasha, an incredible professional with amazing personality. Not only did she teach me to dance, but she also choreographed a fun and exciting mashup of songs / dance styles that dazzled the wedding guests. Inviting, patient, professional, knowledgeable and simply fun to learn with. The atmosphere created by Dasha and Eugene (her husband) is one that makes you look forward to the next lesson. If you would like to learn, look no further.

One of the best things I like about the school is the fact that there are no recitals. They learn technique, how to dance, not just enough steps to get through a few minutes on stage. The other parents are GREAT we all work together to do fund raisers for this not for profit organization. This school does a lot of charity work. The children in the theatre dance class put on a performance once a month for the seniors and children who cannot afford tution are never turned away. There are many scholorships availible. The director is attentive to the children and truley cares for them. If you get out of your car and socialize with everyone you would know that it isnt clickish. The reason that she doesnt want people parking in front is because security gives tickets to those cars. If she catches you out there she usually says something.

What an AWFUL experience…read more... Was excited to get back into yoga and was looking forward to sharing this experience with a friend. The good- people taking the class all seem very nice. The instructor knowledgeable in palates. The bad - studio smell like sweat that has not been cleaned up in ... ever. - the studio owner is unprofessional and rude and there is nothing "namaste" about her demeanor. - the instructor seems threatened and terrified of her boss (the owner) to the point of creating a false narrative Will not be returning. If you are okay with disrespectful behavior and just taking class by disconnecting with the rest of the world- this is a place for you. Disclaimer - I am a health professional with 30+ years of dance teaching experience. When your hot yoga studio forbids you from leaving the room during class, even if you felt unwell, it raises concerns about safety. To add insult to injury when the studio owner proceeds to yell at you, questions you says that by leaving the class was disrupted, and insults - that's speaks volumes about the culture of the practice. If I didn't leave, the class would have been even more disrupted with the instructor unable to teach at all because they would need to take care of the student instead of teaching, Furthermore, when the owner accuses the client that because of the client the owner could not complete their scheduled personal important appointment- that demonstrates concern for the owner's mental state. There are safety risks involved with hot yoga and it is the responsibility of the instructor and the student to ensure safety. Listening to your body is paramount: Regardless of studio policy, your well-being should be the priority. If you feel dizzy, lightheaded, nauseous, or experience any other signs of heat intolerance or illness during a hot yoga class, it's essential to take a break or leave the room. Same with dance -pushing through injury is highly discouraged as it may cause further injury. People are paying for the class, this is not a prison. No one comes to class looking to disobey.
