That was in Q1 2023. 6 months after the remodel, the flooring throughout my home needed be entirely replaced - despite my insistence that the LVP flooring would need some type of underlayment due to the uneven surfaces and transitions from concrete to wood, he insisted it was a waste of money and unnecessary (keep in mind that I paid for ALL materials, sometimes including the crew's lunch and home depot snacks apparently). In the end, I won the wrong battle that I at least wanted a moisture barrier. Now, all of the LVP throughout the entire home is cracking and separating. Worst $20K I've ever spent despite how much i loved the floor before it was installed. This issue started while they were still working on the house and he convinced me that I should compromise bc he couldn't afford to incur the cost of having to replace it. I tried for several months after completion of the project to get in touch with him and his crew foreman to no avail. They wouldn't even take my calls. Overall, I spent more than $150K on a total renovation and im being told it will take upwards of $75K to correct what they did. Im not one to ever leave a review, positive or negative, but in this case, I feel like I should warn folks. They are an extremely friendly group of folks and easily likable, but I trusted them to take care of my home and I feel like he/they took advantage of the fact that I'm a single female that didn't know all the answers. The flooring was just the tip of the iceberg, although the single most expensive mistake I made in trusting this team of people.. I think it hurt my heart more so than my pocket book to be taken advantage of to this extreme. Hard lesson learned, but i promise you I learned it well.... and will continue to pay for my bad judgment for years to come apparently. I will admit however, there were a few unforseens along the way that the team was more than willing to take care of....at a cost of course. ​

Then got repeated calls to pay the invoice within a few hours. I paid the next morning and still got called. These people do not stand behind their work, they care more about payment than quality and respect for the customer. No pride in workmanship.

When we got on the phone, he was in a bad mood, called it an "f-in" (but used the real word) Monday and then proceeded to talk about how awesome he is, how much his time is worth, how many awards he has won, etc. He also said, "You are one of those people who lives in a world where you think the customer is always right, and you have no clue about the real world." He was so rude and disrespectful. My entire call with him was to understand why the invoice was $399. You can tell I'm not the first person to ever question this based on his response. I would NEVER use this company again. Charlie, one of the owners, showed up personally with his crew, and I genuinely believe their thoroughness may have saved my family from carbon monoxide poisoning and fire risk. What stood out immediately is that most roofers would've stayed on the roof, looked at vent boots and shingles, found nothing obvious, and either quoted me something I didn't need or told me to call someone else. Instead, Charlie went straight into the attic first, and not just the easy-to-reach area. He crawled all the way back into a tight, hard-to-access part of the attic that I couldn't even safely get to myself. While he was back there, he discovered that our furnace flue pipe was completely disconnected, meaning carbon monoxide had been venting into our attic every time the furnace ran. We had no idea. For context, we'd had our HVAC company out just two weeks prior for a routine service visit, and they missed this entirely. A roofer caught a life-threatening HVAC issue that the HVAC professionals didn't. Charlie reconnected it on the spot. On top of that, he diagnosed the actual ceiling leak, which wasn't the roof at all. He found that the exterior dryer vent had a screened filter behind the flap that was completely clogged with lint, nothing could get through. This clogged filter was not allowing lint or heat to escape every time I ran the dryer, causing a huge fire hazard. Because no heat was escaping, hot dryer exhaust was leaking into the attic. When the AC ran, the temperature difference between the hot attic air and the cold AC ducts was causing condensation to form at the duct connection points, which was dripping onto the sheetrock and showing up as a leak on our bathroom ceiling. This filter was three stories up on the exterior of the building. His crew threw up a tall ladder, climbed up, and removed it. That alone would've been a separate service call to another company. Two serious problems, both of them potentially life-threatening, diagnosed and fixed in one visit. The price was more than fair for the amount of work and expertise involved. I was prepared to spend significantly more on a roof repair I didn't even need, and would've had to call out both an HVAC technician and someone with a three-story ladder to address what Charlie and his crew handled on the spot. They could've easily told me I needed roof work and walked away with more money. Instead Charlie and his team did the right thing, found the actual issues, and fixed them honestly. If they'd taken the typical approach and just stayed on the roof, the disconnected flue would still be venting carbon monoxide into my attic right now. I've already been recommending Rosie's to anyone and everyone I know, and I'll continue to do so.

The side of our roof was damaged from tree branches, and the chimney cap was missing the spark arrestor cap. When Duane Clark inspected our roof, he found 2 other areas that needed fixing. He also explained how he was going to add the chimney cap and fit over a double flue. While doing the job, they discovered some rotted plywood under the shingles, and replaced that for no additional charge. He also painted the chimney shroud so that it would look good from the street and yard. Duane and his crew are easy to work with, honest and do excellent work. They are attentive to the details and are interested in ensuring a solid and secure roof - not just how fast they can finish and move on to the next job.
