I saw a commercial on TV advertising a standby generator and call for a estimate. We got the whole house one, because I got tired switching extension cords around from room to room. We were found this one that would service our whole house and had it installed. The crew arrived on time as scheduled and after introduction from the leader they went right to work. They did an amazing job with installing and setting it in working order. They installed a switch -over box in the garage so when the power goes off, within 15-30 seconds the generator comes on. We thought that was nice. For years I used a portable generator with many extension cords lying all over the house, but no more. I gave all that to my Son and now we don't worry about electricity outages. I have to tell everyone that the crew got caught in the rain, but that did not stop them. The leader went to Lowe's and bought a fold out canopy. They continued to work, half under it and some in the rain. The Gas Company came out and installed a gas meter to fuel it. When they finished, all was working when they ran a test. We were satisfied with their job proficiency, even working through a thunder storm the crew continued. I do not have to do anything when our power goes out, We just wait a few seconds and walia! The power comes on. We thank everyone that made it happen. Yr generator was very readable in price too! Last, but not least, I did have to buy a contract to have all taken care of, so I do not have to do anything, even maintenance, we just sit back and our standby generator.

They came by to let us know what the issue was, then, after we had the flooring ripped up after a leak detection company marked off where it was, they came with the jackhammer and tore up our cement. Unfortunately, the leak wasn't where detection had marked it. I'm grateful Stephen was find enough to come in on what was supposed to be his day off the next day to continue after we took up the rest of the wood overnight. They did a great job at locating the leak, fixing it, explaining what might have happened to cause it, filling the hole back up and covering it with cement. First, I was told that there would be a $79 charge for the inspection and I thought that this would be included in the estimate. But no, it is a separate charge! The electrician was polite and I am sure he is capable, however, after looking at the 4 overhead lighting fixtures he spent the next 45 minutes writing up what looked like a small novel. My fixtures are very moderately priced, 2 from Wayfair and 2 older ones I had for a long time. (not huge Waterford crystal by any means) I also wanted 2 GFI's replaced. When I inquired about the final bill the electrician showed me a "book" that gave me a discount if I joined the "club" at $9.95 a month. All prices were spelled out in the "book"! So... it was over $8000.00 if I am NOT a member and $7000.00 If i Join the club, to HANG 4 OVERHEAD FIXTURES!! More than the total price of the fixtures! The 2 GFI's were in the $600.00 range!! I was astounded to say the least. I guess I did not ask enough questions up front. My guess is that the electrician never expected to do the job at that price but to either sign up a sucker for the "club" or just go collect $79 from the next suspect like me. I notice all good reviews are old, 2016 thru 2018. I suspect something has changed. If you decide to use these folks I suggest you ask what the "book" prices are first!

The technician arrived as expected on the planned date. He explained what he was going to do and went right to work. When he was finished it was a delightful sight to my wife and me. Sam was polite, professional, cleaned up the area when completed and he took all the excess away for us. I rate Sam as a top notch technician. He knew exactly what he was doing. He had to install a separate line for the light and he recommended that we add a wall switch to allow dimming the light instead of just bright on or off. That is a nice added addition and thanks Sam.
