Did the paperwork and wait until the delivery time to go over my new bike. I was told it was going to be delayed because the bike was getting it's PDI done. After 3 hours of waiting I was tired and started asking what the problem was. The service department was very disrespectful and would not tell me what the problem was. They seemed to be hiding the fact that the bike was on the bench with factory recalls and the bike was apart. I had to fight with service to tell me what the recalls where. I asked to see my bike and in a very controlling attitude I was told no. I was treated with no No NO respect. The service manager was treble. It left me feeling like I made the biggest mistake buying a new Africa twin. Not a warm good fuzzy feeling for doing business with such a big organization. I have bought two other bikes at Barns Powersports Calgary in the past two years. And to be treated like I have no value, no respect was so frustrating. The delivery department and finance department where very helpful trying to get me answers but the service department was treble. It's 2 AM now and I can sleep still so upset over the experience. I did not get any satisfaction from the service department. I never did get any paperwork as to what was done on my bike for the recalls. The service manager asked what could she do to make it right. I said my first service should be free. I understand her to agree but she never honored her offer. It's unbelievable how someone can be so unprofessional. You spend over $20000 only to feel like you have no value. I think the delivery department and finance department did a great job and where honest with good intentions. The service manager took away all the good with all the attitude and negative disrespect.

Battery died the second time we tried to start it to do a short test ride. They said they'd get a battery for it but didn't replace the battery which I discovered when bike failed to start a few days after purchasing it. Always get promises in writing if it is important to you as a customer to have the promises kept. I wasn't too concerned because the small batteries aren't that expensive and for the price it was a good deal. It would have been better if they had said we can't sell it at that price with a new battery and ask if I would cover the new battery cost. That would have created a better impression than to promise what they didn't deliver. I would have been happier paying $50 more knowing the bike will run without having to troubleshoot issues with batteries. On second visit, battery was charged and I test rode the bike. Seemed OK so I bought it. Bike seemed to be in excellent mechanical condition with low miles. It was rare to find an old bike in that good a condition. After I got it home, I rode it the next day. Third day it wouldn't start. Battery was down to 10 volts. Charged it and it started a few times before battery wouldn't start without another charge. This created unnecessary worry which is not good for repeat business. I checked out the bike as best I could with a voltmeter and it seemed to be charging the battery OK so I bought a new battery ($47) and a trickle charger because I expect to ride it sparingly this winter. For the price, I believe I got a very good deal. I would have given them 5 stars if it hadn't been for forgetting to replace the battery. That's probably why they wrote "as is" on the bill of sale. If I hadn't been so sure the bike was mechanically sound, I would have refused to buy it. I bought it because it is unlikely that I'd ever find as good a deal anywhere else. So, they do sell old bikes in very good condition. It's a tough industry to make a buck in so I hope they do put more emphasis in the future on building up their business integrity. Overall, despite the battery difficulty, I'm very happy with the bike and got my money's worth. On the final mile home I hit some icy patches. Out of habit I pulled in the clutch when the roughness of the pavement was suddenly smooth. Ice! I coasted past the ice to bare road and cranked up the power. Nice! Riding a motorcycle is like riding a bicycle. The skills come back very quickly. Once a motorcyclist, I suppose we're always a motorcyclist. ‍

After my recent visit(s) to All season Motorsports I am disgusted with the service (or lack of) I…read morereceived, below are the facts of my visit. Fact. I had previously purchased tyres for my bikes and ordered a new set for my current bike, I paid a 50% deposit over the phone. Fact. The tyres I requested were not available and All Season Motorsports neglected to tell me, on my return from a work trip I called to book my bike in only to find out the tyres were not available. An alternative set was ordered. Fact. July 29th I rode my bike from home (High River) for the fitting of the new tyres. Fact. After 4 hours waiting at the shop I was informed that my bike had been dropped. Fact. The clutch lever was sheared off at the base, the gear shifter assembly was pushed into the engine block and the wing mirror was broken. Fact. The bike was un-ride able. Fact. I was promised by the store manager that he would 'see me right' and get the bike repaired ASAP Fact. The parts were not readily available and took just under 5 weeks to arrive. Fact. I had to find my own way back home having no choice but to leave my bike at All Season Motorsports. Fact. I had one missed call from All Season Motorsports (according to my cell records) in early September telling me my bike was ready. Fact. Upon returning home from work and arranging to collect my bike, I was presented with a full bill for the tyres + Labour! Fact. All Season Motor Sports actually wanted to charge me labour for mishandling and dropping my bike! Fact. I refused to pay the bill and left the store without my bike and wrote an email to the corporate office Fact. After 5 days I received a reply stating that I was to pay the full bill and no discount on service would be provided. In addition I was accused of using threatening and abusive language towards the staff! (totally not true), In addition I was told it was my choice to leave my bike at the shop and it was ride able. I have been riding for 40 years and never without a clutch lever and no way of shifting a gear! Fact. I wrote another email to corporate and stated that I am extremely disappointed and also very upset that my character had been question. I asked that the CCTV footage from the stores CCTV cameras be viewed and that they would portray a whole different story. I was made to feel the guilty party! The footage was cleary never reviewed. Fact. I received another reply and was told that I am to collect my bike, pay the bill and that no more emails would be responded too! Fact. I consulted my lawyer and after discussion decided that I should just go and pay the bill and collect my bike or face $1000's in legal fees. Fact. I have all the correspondence and photographs backing up all of the above. Fact. I lost 5 weeks of prime riding time through August, no compassion whatsoever was shown by All Season Motorsports, No compensation for my loss or my time and expense (They did deduct $52 from my bill for a rental car I was forced to use when my bike was dropped, but that was not easy to get), I as a customer, have never been treated with such disrespect and lack of compassion and the lies from the store manager to the corporate office portrayed me to be an angry and abusive individual which could not be further from the truth. I will never darken their doors again, an absolute joke of a company that show no regard to your bike or the customer. I was the one made to feel guilty from their blatant incompetence. There are plenty of other options in YYC for your bike needs so avoid this place like the plague!!!
