My boys attended camp here and it was awesome. The owners are incredible. One of the last businesses in LA that has any common sense and actually listens to REAL science. We love that they don't allow masks as science shows it can cause irreversible damage (especially while operating machinery), and masks cannot protect you from viral particles - you would need a hazmat suit. Thank you for providing a safe space for my kids to come play and have fun! We love the environment and happy faces when we come here

They have slow pitch and you can make reservations. Been there a couple time and no issues getting into the cage. Have their own parking lot. Staff always friendly. Recommend making reservations.

I love this place! It's so much fun to hop into a batting cage, and see if my swing is still intact. Baseball Central has it all, plus a nice waiting room for those moms who need a comfortable place to sit. The prices are pretty on point, and I would suggest making a reservation before you come. I have had times where I had to wait 45 minutes or so. Great facility here! Gabe is great!

I read the reviews before I went and the complaints made me a little weary of going-- speaking like this place is all rundown and ghetto and it's not. Who cares if you have to feed your own balls-- baseball is a physical sport! I had fun. I hit a little, but mostly it was for my step-son. There's a few batting cages where there is indeed a manual feed pitching machine, but it's not like it's a daunting task to gather balls. Most of the balls are funneled back to you anyhow. There's a few other cages for fielding and pitching, making this a well-rounded facility for baseball practice. There's even on-hand instructors to help you out. The waiting room is a cosy area with a TV. This place may not be a state of the art, but it is pretty nice and even better for the price.

Results speak for themselves. Looks forward to every session.

Great place for batting practice. It's clean and nice but be sure to bring a partner to feed the balls.

Fairly priced for a batting cage. You cant readjust which wasn't fun. But was funny to see my tall friend squatting to hit the ball.

I have founded my own travel ball academies (Los Angeles Xtreme Baseball Academy), and I have helped dozens of youth athletes go on to play at the college level, including my 2 older kids (both division 1 student athletes). I also am the founder and President of a local non profit youth sports academy. I list this all not to highlight my accolades and resume, but rather, because I know just what it takes to run a successful and accomplished program, along with a world class indoor batting cage and training facility. Beach City Baseball Academy checks all of these boxes, and much more. Their indoor training facility is one of the best I've seen, with numerous hitting lanes, state of the art equipment, spacious pitching and fielding stations, and a fully outfitted weight room with recovery stations. They offer an amazing membership program, their coaching staff is skilled, knowledgeable, and committed to developing talent, no matter what the age or skill level. They are located in the heart of one of the best small towns in Southern California, El Segundo. Last but certainly not least, they have a management team that is responsive to their members and customers alike. Their General manager, Shelly, deserves extra notice for always going the extra mile for her clients. I highly recommend Beach City Baseball Academy to any athlete with a desire to learn how to play the game the right way, and who has a drive to improve and grow as an athlete. My daughter has improved tremendously in her short time workout out there, and I am looking forward to watching her continue to blossom. Thank you to Shelly and her team, you are a class organization. If you want your player to succeed, you need to incorporate BCBA into their weekly training regimen.

To me it seems like they just opened part of the school up to the public and it feels like awkward and invasive coming lol. I definitely would rename it from Baldwin Hills Rec Center as that implies the whole area uh, knows it exists first of all. Kenneth Hahn is closer to being that than here or even Houston Park or something.
