One week into a new relationship with numericable and it is not going well…read more - we had no choice to change to them in our commune and they refused to provide any details of their service, despite being asked several times. - when their equipment was finally installed, the installed the modem incorrectly. Their technical service was rude and refused to speak Dutch or English, insisting on French. We had to get a friend to report the problem before they would fix their own error. - so far the internet they provide seems to be reliable, if nowhere near the 200Mb we are paying for. - all the documentation is in French and they have ignored all emails for technical advice to date. - the TV box crashes, inexplicably, at least once per day. - the software is not user friendly and we cannot seem to be able to record TV series, only individual slots Other than that, they are a good provider !

Television is stable and reliable (but horrifically expensive if you want to see anything worth…read morewatching), but the telephone and internet are spotty. There are weeks when the connection drops five or six times a day, others where there is no problem at all. Sometimes the line is down for a few minutes, other times half an hour or more, occasionally two or three days. Calling Numericable is fraught with idiocy. To get through to an operator, one has to enter the account number - and go through a series of automated responses - then when finally in contact with an breathing living operator, one has to give the account number yet again, then confirm name, address and telephone number, because their system apparently has no way of recognising incoming calls and linking databases. As a customer, you have to realise that it is presumed that you are at fault, your actions have produced the poor result, and of course there will be no credit for the time you lose due to Numericable's technical incompetence. They even had the nerve on several occasions to ask why I was calling from my cellphone rather than from my registered phone - which of course is inoperable when the internet connection is lost. I have replaced all the cables from their arrival point in my apartment, ensuring tight connection and correct impedance. I have replaced the modem per their instructions - by going to their offices and waiting in the lobby for an hour before I could see an agent. Nice new modem - and fortunately it re-boots automatically, so I don't have to disconnect then reconnect endlessly to get a signal. But still, the line drops as before. They offered to send a technician to look at the installation - but I will have to pay for the visit no matter what he doesn't find. Given the opaque service - the invoices don't even show the breakdown fo charges - and the high cost of their service, you might better be served by Belgacom - it may be a little more expensive, but at least you will have reliable service.

VOO is the worst!!! I have been their client for more than 10 years and I always had problems. Slow…read moreInternet, interruptions, extremely unhelpful technicians and customer service, very high prices. I lived somewhere else for the past 2 year and I moved back to an area that is covered by VOO. I set up an appointment for the technician to install Internet in my new apartment and he did not show up. But this is just the beginning of the story, it is getting darker....After missing from his own appointment, I received a text message from the company informing me that the technician came to my apartment but I was not at home, therefore I should call to make a new appointment. Of course, this was a lie. I was waiting for him at home. I called the number they gave me, I waited in a cue for more than 20 minutes listening to TV commercials in French, then finally a person who only spoke French answered just to inform me that I have to pay 25 EUR because I missed the appointment. In other words, VOO is a specialist in adding insult to injury ... I thought I am in a Kafka play. I tried to explain that the VOO technician is lying, that I had no reason to miss the appointment because my work is dependant of it, but without success. She did try to help me by calling the Technical Service to see what happened but the technician insisted that he came by and I was not home. After a long conversation in which she tried to "maintain neutrality" between what the technician was asserting and my version of what really happened, she finally conceded that the technician did admit that "he passed by in a hurry"... So, what am I supposed to understand? That he was in such a hurry that he forgot to ring the bell or give me a call and he charged me 25 EUR for his own incompetence and lying? In the end, she gave me another appointment in a week, which is a suboptimal solution for me, as I work from home. In conclusion, I am looking for another Internet provider.

I could give VOO the review of -100 stars if it is available here…read more VOO is no doubt the WORST Internet provider I have never seen in the past. 1. Severe billing issues: they tried to over-charge me with bills more than 6 times in 3 years of usage. 2. Constantly slow internet, internet breaks frequently. Most severe one was I was left without internet for nearly half a month. Think twice if you do business at home. 3. Poor customer service, no English, service line is always busy (no way to call-in), ticket response average time more than 7 days. It was not a good start, during the installation, they charged me 129 + 89 = 218 euros, not the 129 euros agreed in the phone. Then the nightmare began: the major internet broke, not able to call in service line with countless try, waited for more than 7 days for the ticket to be processed and to be contacted, waited for another couple of days for the technician and he didn't show up but still tried to charge me 50 euros. The dispute took nearly 4 months to be settled by the 3rd party to rule them mis-charge. Today comes another stupid bill and an information on the contract has been renewed and price had gone up without any beforehand notice. Can you believe it? All my colleagues who used VOO in the past have switched to Proximus. VOO is a total disaster.
