I would like to share my short and traumatic experience with Proximus just to prevent that other people receives the same treatment given to me by them.
I live in Woluwee Saint-Lambert and I don't have lots of options of internet providers there (only SFR & Proximus), I was SFR client but the speed of the internet was going down and down, then I have decided to move to Proximus and give them a try.
After the installation of the modem I was really happy with the speed of the internet, it was great for two weeks! It just broke after the first two weeks, after a phone call they said that the service was interrupted because the payment was not done (!?!?), after a double check, they realized that it was a mistake and they have tried to make it work again... never happened! They have tried to solve the problem using their system and after several tries (2 days without internet) they said that the problem was the modem, so they sent a new modem (7 days waiting for the new modem with no internet at home), I received the new modem, plugged all cables, turned it on and... same problem, no internet! I called again, they sent my case to "the specialist", more 4 days waiting... no internet, no answers, nothing!
Solution: Toc-toc... SFR? Do you have place for an old and unsatisfied client?
That's my advice, DON'T GO for Proximus, they don't respect their clients and the support is awful! read more
