A few days later I started getting several responses. Only one said that he could fix it, and it was Damon. I contacted him and later that afternoon he said that he could come to my home and fix it. When he showed up he started working on it immediately. I stood there and watched him take the unit apart until he finally reached the display. He removed it and replaced it with a new one that I had recently purchased online. After he put it back together I plugged it in and tested it and it worked perfectly. Fortunately, I had the exceptional service today when, after taking my non-working phone to US Cellular where I purchased it and they offered no help, other than showing me new $800-$900 phones I could purchase, I ended up going to the Cell Phone Hospital in Tulsa Hills where I was greeted by a young man who was very professional and helped me right away. He worked on my phone for well over 20 minutes, found it was the charging port being packed with debris and he cleaned it all out with special cell phone tools. He tested the phone right afterward and it immediately worked. He wouldn't take payment for doing this and said he was just trying to provide the best customer service. I was blown away by this. Needless to say, I highly recommend this business for any of your cell phone repair needs. I will definitely be giving them my return business.
