Unfortunately when we showed up the listed hours online were incorrect, the store was closed even though it should have been open for another half hour, oh and small detail-the store has an entirely different name now. It was a shame because the women's attire that we could see through the windows looked really nice and it would have been great to have the opportunity to shop inside. If this is a new business or re-branding the owner might want to consider claiming the business address and updating the name/hours. We would have adjusted our dinner itinerary to visit the shop prior to the correct closing time.

Unfortunately, this experience completely changed my opinion of the business. The two women working were incredibly rude and unprofessional, going so far as to mock me under their breath. The shop is pretty well packed with merchandise, floor to ceiling, some of which requires help from sales staff to get to. There was plenty of staff available when I went in, and the young woman who assisted me with trying on sport coats was friendly and accommodating. The shop is clean and pretty well kept, although there is so much merchandise that things are a bit cramped in spots. But it is a fun place to browse to find something western and really unique.

I am a big fan of boutiques that contain a variety of items. This shop had jewelry, purses,…read morescarves, etc. From what I gathered, the jewelry ranged from new items to antique (or looked antique) in the cases. I felt, overall, the prices ranged from inexpensive to expensive. A small pile of knit head wraps caught my eye in the back of the store. They had different colors with each having embroidery and some sequins/rhinestones. I had my heart set on a gray, knit head wrap with bright turquoise and black embroidery all over it. It was $35 but one of the owners took an extra $5 off. Sold. While I paid for the wrap, the owner and cashier struck up conversation with my daughter and I. They were very friendly but then again, my daughter has a way of charming the pants off of people. Of all the things I purchased on my trip, this purchase at Lola was the one I am most excited about. Bring on the cool weather so I can wear it!!!

These guys are true artists and take their headpieces and fashions to a whole new level. The other negative reviews about this place are a load of crap in my opinion. My guess is that there is some ulterior motive involved which I won't get into here but suffice to say, our experiences with this place were excellent and we found the proprietors extremely engaging and they had an artistic outlook and philosophy which was very refreshing compared to many of the stores in the area which are just selling touristy nick-knacks. I just wish they had a website because I would love to buy some headpieces and other articles of clothing to use for our fashion photography work. If you are looking for some fabulous fashion pieces which would be as at home in a modern, fashion museum as they would be at a masked ball, check this place out.

Clean, well organized, and best of all....GREAT prices. The prices are very, very fair. I brought my son's girlfriend (age 26) a couple of weeks ago. She found some very cute clothes at a very reasonable price. The staff is great. Very friendly and personable. Parking can be a bit of a challenge when they're busy, but I've not had to wait too long for a space. So far I've bought two dog beds, dog steps (only $5.99 - the ladder was broken but my husband glued it back together and it works fine now), women's shirts and jackets, grill spray, 409 cleaner, baskets and bins, books and magazines, and kids' clothes. I go 1-2x a week because they always have new, fun stuff.

The cashier (taller guy, long hair--receipt says Corey/Cotey?) was very unfriendly in his tone throughout the checkout process and at the very end proceeds to ask, "what's in that?" Accusing me of stealing items, and justified his Q by saying, "it happens." It was a lunch box with snacks for my son as we shopped. I wouldn't have given much thought to either of these interactions on their own, but because the whole experience was negative, I feel the need to share it. It was also strange when I went last Friday at 10 am and the doors were closed. Phone went straight to static. A lot of people walked up to locked doors and were confused as to why there wasn't a sign stating they were closed. A woman told me that she had a lot of valuables to donate and will be going elsewhere. Sad! I hope someone will see these reviews and actually make changes, rather than just respond to the review itself. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back to shop or donate anytime soon. I will continue going to St. Vincent de Paul, where I've had nothing but a great experience and interacted with only kind employees/volunteers.
