He seemed disappointed that I had such a mundane diagnosis as vertigo and not something sexier like Meniere's (sp?). He barely looked at me, told me to watch YouTube videos on how to do the Epley maneuver and I can go. I started asking some questions and he opened the door and started walking down the hallway. He was done with me. Probably less than 1 minute spent with me. I followed him down the hall asking if he could show me the maneuver, and he said to watch the videos or go to PT. He said we don't do that here anymore. I asked for a prescription for PT 1/2way down the hallway and he seemed surprised. He sighed and said ok. His staff is super nice and very helpful. I never give one star reviews, but this was crazy.

I had thought that Penn State Health accepted Medicare for full payment for services at this clinic. Wrong. I went to a Podiatrist to have my toe nails cut and requested Topical medication to cure toe nail fungus. The Doctor was great and addressed my medical needs. She spent about 20 minutes with me and had a prescription called in to my Pharmacy. Several Weeks later I get a bill for $359 for her services. Medicare covered $244 and I got a bill for $114.00. I went to their office and asked if I could get installment payments. I am living on Social Security. They told me to contact their Hershey office about payments. The woman that took my call at Hershey said that if the amount is under $200 they don't ACCEPT installment payments. She sent me some forms to fill out requesting to have my balance written off by Penn State. The forms they sent me were ridiculous. They wanted me to mail them copies of my last 4 bank statements in addition to another bunch of BS. NO way i would do that instead of just sending them installment payments. My account numbers is none of their business. As far as I know, they MUST accept installment payments by law. So guess how much they are getting? Anything Penn State is a RIP OFF.
