If you'd been there before, you could see what a labor of love has been made to get this venue into shape for weddings, celebrations, and all sorts of et cetera. Wrought iron railings with planters define the edge of the platform. The raw brick has been brought back to 'life.' The lighting is suited to whatever mood is desired. The ceiling fans moderate the temperature at all times (except for the hour or so in the late afternoon that the sun bathes the station). Rest rooms are ample. Standing tables and tables for sitting abound. There's space for a band, as well as roving minstrels and musicians. There's a nice bar at the far end... The proprietors also run The Cotton Room (upstairs) which deserves a review of its own. But as a stand - alone venue, Belt Line Station is a beautifully restored space that oozes with romance. Thank goodness someone saw fit to renovate the space instead of tearing it down and building new... you just can't buy this kind of charm!

And this excuse was after we called back each time a minimum of 7 days later. We NEVER received a return call or email from them. We always had to catch them when they actually answered the phone. - Direction from the planner was non existent. - I will say the food was excellent. - At the end of the night they loaded up a cart from both the grooms and bride suites with purses, clothes, all belongings and wheeled it out to the parking lot and unloaded it on my mother-in-law. 0 professionalism, 0 customer service, 0 accountability. I take my children to see them weekly at kultured kids Wednesdays and my children love going there as they have have fun engaging games and activities available in the mornings. I have found this pleasant and a nice change from going to the local library. The staff is friendly and I love talking to the ladies who hold the events out there. What is even more enjoyable is that they have days where the parents get free massages while the children are playing. Yay! Back to the birthdays. Some of the pro's have been that they have great customer service, great employees, and nice costumes(as far as in princesses from friends) and I have been an attendant at a Mermaid party they did which was nicely done. However, my son wants a Sponge Bob party from them for his 8th bday that he has been begging me non stop for. I have heard they were pretty good and I have also requested pictures that were nice. I wouldn't be too sure of the actual attire until seeing it in person, but I am not too worried because they have recieved good feedbck from those I know of who have actually paid them for party services. The con's that I have heard were that the games don't flow well with the parties, which can cause moments of "what next". The party I attended didn't seem unorganized to me, but I guess it could all depend on what the customers had planned with the company before arriving. Kidz Go Nutz promised to offer a wonderful service with the character Elmo. Not only was Elmo late but he was not prepared, dressed properly, didn't have audible music for the party, etc. Kidz go Nutz staff explained they left the crafts at home, thanks for being honest, but unfortunately this didn't help the situation nor provide any entertainment for the kids. The whole time of the party Elmo just looked around and made a few slight moves. Elmo didn'tknow how to play games, engage the kids, or give any special attention to the birthday boy. Secondly, Elmo costume looks horrible. The outfit was too small, it looks cheap and worn, and Elmo shoes were coming out the outfit. Elmo was simply too tall for this cheap and bad condition outfit. Not to mention how Elmo head kept spinning the wrong way. Additionally, the music was way too low and barely audible. In several of the pictures taken you can see Elmo arms, hands, and shoes out of the outfit. Lastly, when I tried contacting the company they apologized for my dissatisfaction and said they would get back to me well I am still waiting for them to get back to me because that was over a month ago. I am totally dissatisfied. Note, i have been to a few birthday parties with theme characters and i must say this was by far the worse I have ever seen. Kidz Go Nutz ruined my son birthday party. The kitchen was fully stocked with Klondike Bars and other ice cream treats, plus frozen and un-frozen candy bars, jars of goodies including gumballs, gummy bears, peanut M&Ms, a display of pastries, donuts and bagels, string cheeses, water, OJ, coffee. It felt a lot like Yelp HQ -- except lacking an essential keg and some Kettle Chips. And punchy atmosphere. And employees that look like they came out of an Abercrombie ad. But okay, kitchen aside, I was still impressed. The staff at the Center got up to help me navigate my way around the labyrinth of meeting rooms. The rooms themsleves are varied, so you can have a more intimate roundtable or a formal lecture. Most of the audience seating has outlets for keeping our important laptops and blackberries and iPads and all that jazz juiced up. There's outdoor seating for your lunch or private phone call needs. And the indoor bistro area is by some big, bright windows, which helped me recharge after being holed up in a conference room for an hour. Can't give a full 5 stars since I've never dealt with these guys on renting the space and all those logistics. But I can say they handled the day-of conference beautifully. Meeting rooms were all labeled with their proper sessions, and there's even an electronic board outside the elevators that updates itself with what's happening where. Definitely consider it for your conferencing needs!
