However they hunted me down again to ask me again to pay and I tried to explain that I had just paid them but they didn't listen to me or didn't believe me and I had to pay for a second ticket all the while the other roadie with us never had to pay.

It's such a shame that this place is having financial trouble. The most iconic thing about the Warehouse is the stairs. I have no idea how the bands carry their stuff up there, but opening the door and being met with all those steps just sets the tone for the night. You know you're in for something different. There are old posters from a bunch of different bands covering the walls. There's a mural on a wall inside in the style of BRUTE! propaganda. For some reason, the aesthetics just seem like what a concert venue *should* be. The venue is unabashedly all ages. That means no booze. Take that for what it is. Personally, I appreciated it when I was younger--it meant no obnoxious drunk assholes! Now that I'm a bit older, I just appreciate the club's commitment to providing a positive environment for kids in Wisconsin who need a different kind of community than is offered at hometown football games.

She helped me build a flight and gave me two samples of beers that piqued my interest... Spruce-A-Lool and Shitty Lyte Beer. Of the five bees I tasted... all were wonderfully delicious. As I exclaimed about the Spruce-A-Lootel "it's not offensive like I assumed and was pleasantly palatable". The Shitty Lyte beer I expected to taste like a regular domestic... had a little..something to it, I can't describe it, but a little punch. Jenna was attentive and funny my whole visit despite the bar filling up w customers. All the customers were equally as funny as we all talked and joked. Don't skip past Pearl Street and your directions are correct when it reads to take a left in to what looks like an apartment parking lot... you go the short distance past that to Pearl Street. I liked that the brewery really covered your palate with light to hoppy to malty and flavorful. I really enjoyed the Siberian Disco Toasted Stout and Java Lava Coffee Stout. I also enjoyed my Old Fashioned, they have a menu of cocktails as well. I definitely won't be waiting another four years for my third stop in to Pearl Street. Thanks Jenna for an afternoon of delicious beer over laughter and brewery styles and beers, cheers!

There is an older jukebox available to play music, and the sound in that place was really great. They were closed during the pandemic I believe, but now they are open again. A week after we visited there someone vandalized the back or side of the building with graffiti, which is unfortunate! It's a swank place, and I hope that more people realize just how much fun it is to be there. The seats seem kind of retro and has a lot of big wide curves to it. I hope that the musty smell can get cleared out somehow because that's a little overwhelming, but I think it's just from being closed up for so long. We will definitely be back! Bummed I didn't take pictures, but I'll definitely update with pictures when we go back!

Elements of retro classic-ness mixed with modern touches make it really unique and quite inviting to my eyes! Killer large booths, and one beautiful long bar makes the bar the place to be. Go through a door and the next thing you know you are in a beautiful theater.. This is the perfect place to hang out and see a band play! I had a brew from the great selection and the bartender was super nice and told us about the place! Sounds like it might only be open for shows and weekends but If I lived here I I would come to hang out all the time! This is a cool bar amongst the coolest bars I have ever been in and I was here at 4 in the afternoon! I bet it gets really awesome at 10pm!

Oh, and I'm on Fire, the hook of the tune, but the first line 'a the song closely aped a 50s-60's rocker lyric "Pretty little girl with the hah school sweater, skip that buoy, yew kin do better" with a melody that stole from "Way down yonder in the injun nation. savages rage at the indignation, of havin' to live on the reservation!" It was all ah could do ta keep from cryin' as the beertender called bar time. Friend of mine wrote the perfect closin' to a country & western soong evenin' in the tavern, and sent it to me. I wrote back an tole him it weren't good 'nuf cuz it din't say nothin' bout gittin' drunk, sawin' the bar in half with a chainsaw, or Mama's 2 year stretch in the pen. At that point me'n the girl settled on a soong ta end the evenin' an it goes lak this: Then one day a movie scout Came to town to take her out (Jordanaires: Came to town to take her out) Hollywood could offer more So she left the boy next door who worked at the candy store (Jordanaires: Dream on, dream on teenage queen see you on the movie screen) Very soon she was a star Pretty house and shiny car Swimmin' pool and a fence around But she missed her old home town (Jordanaires: But she missed her old home town) All the world was at her door All except the boy next door who worked at the candy store (Jordanaires: Dream on, dream on teenage queen saddest girl we've ever seen) Then one day the teenage star Sold her house and all her cars Gave up all her wealth and fame Left it all and caught a train (Jordanaires: Left it all and caught a train) Do I have to tell you more She came back to the boy next door who worked at the candy store (Now this story has a moral, you'll hear it all at the candy store) After that, ah realized, we din't tell 'un another r names nohow. You don't have to call me darlin, darling, we never even called one another by name.
