So I brought my boat curtains to be sewn-- just four curtains to be cut from the cloth and then hemmed. It was critical to have them cut to the right measurements, which I provided. My washer has been down for about a year now, but honestly, being able to wash what would be 4 loads at home in 25 minutes, means that I don't have to spend the day hanging out at home. It's more cost efficient to do it there, putting 2 loads in 2 double machines then bringing it home to dry. And with a grocery store and coffee shop next door (and a pub) I can get the wash in, run to the grocery store to pick up a few items, back to the wash, load it into my car and home in under 45 minutes.
