I love this Taco truck! They never disappoint. The street tacos are reasonibly priced and are consistently good. My favorites are the carne asada, carnitas, and tripe street tacos. They don't skip on the garnishes either so every bite is chef's kiss. My kid loves their regular burrito with either carne asada or chicken. It's simple but on point. Just rice, beans, cheese, and meat. But every ingredient is cooked well and packed with flavor to make the perfect combination. The agua fresca is delicious. The pineapple is our favorite. It's so cold and almost frozen which is perfect for this Sacramento heat. This is hands down the BEST Mexican food in Roseville. Trust, your stomach and wallet won't be disappointed! read more

Barrios Kitchen - Street Tacos - Food Trucks Near Me - Roseville, California

It's convenient having this food truck positioned on my commute to my mom's house after work. In an area otherwise lacking in food stands, they offer a setup on a small dirt lot featuring a picnic table and chairs if you want to eat on-site, as well as an extensive menu you can order from via QR code or in person. The customer service is gracious, and they even kindly accommodated us as their very last late order one night. The food can be a bit hit or miss depending on the day and the dish, leading to a 3.5-star experience overall. Their carne asada is a consistent standout. It's tender, perfectly cooked, and free of any gristle, making it a reliable choice. The seafood is also exceptional, as both the mixed seafood and shrimp ceviche tostadas we tried were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. My mom is also a fan of their freshly made flour tortilla chips. However, inconsistency with the seasoning and preparation holds them back from a higher rating. The rice & beans are occasionally over salted, which unfortunately happened with a chicken burrito and a rolled taco plate, even though they were perfect on a different visit. The quesabirria taco plate had nicely seasoned meat but suffered from being a bit too salty, soggy, and lacking enough cheese. Similarly, the dry version of the Hot Cheetos burrito missed the mark because the Cheetos were slightly stale and the fries inside were mealy rather than crispy. Their excellent carne asada still shined. I want to emphasize that I'm not trying to be salty towards Barrios because of my own personal preferences and I will continue to return. I always notice a steady crowd of patrons during the dinner rush, so my critique should just be taken with a grain of salt! read more

NEVER AGAIN! Poor quality food! Last night was our second time trying this place. We thought we'd give it a second chance. I let the person taking our order know that he did not include the extra meat we paid for in a super burrito we ordered a week prior. He said they would remember this time, BUT still charged me for it. FINE.... I get home cut the burritos in half, still the same crappy dry ass burrito full of just mostly rice. Tried to give it a second chance, but didn't work out. Oh well! Why this place has so many stars. I have no idea. Maybe we should've ordered tacos lol! We'll stick with the restaurants down the street it cost the same :/ read more

Fantastic food! The best Mexican food truck I've had in Roseville. Highly recommend. Service was quick and easy parking.

I was in need for a genuine taco fix, and decided to give Barrios Kitchen a shot for the first time since it was relatively close. I arrived to the taco truck with a few others already parked awaiting their orders a little after 3PM. I wasn't sure how to order but observed they had a QR code posted on their truck, scanned through the menu and ended up getting the 2 Carne asada plate. I received my order a little over 5 min later - very reasonable price. When I got home and tried it, boy was I happy I went here! The tacos itself had a distinct taste I'm not normally used to with "authentic taco trucks" but it was so good that I plan to visit here regularly from now on and WILL be ordering more than just the 2. I only wish their servings were a bit larger but for the price, I shouldn't be picky. I also really enjoyed the red and green salsa - red was very spicy and green was flavorful. 100% I'll be back - sooner rather than later! read more

We love having this crave-worthy food truck parked in the area. It's become one of our go-to spots. Ordering online is easy with a record of past orders. If you order in person, there are chairs to sit & wait in some shade. We are always met with friendly, accommodating customer service. Our favorites are a Super Shrimp Burrito (the chipotle sauce is so good!) with an addition of meat, a Super Burrito with Adobada (meat is so tender & flavorful), & a Crispy Carne Asada Taco that little one eats up. Freshly fried chips are available & we always add on a bag when we show up. We enjoy their salsas as well. A Chile Relleno Burrito is sometimes available, but we haven't had good timing yet. Sometimes the dust kicks up, but that's a small price to pay for the deliciousness & great service of this food truck. read more

I went here for the first time with my best friend and service was wonderful. I was a bit nervous because it was super busy, but we got our food quickly! My next friend got the super burrito with carnitas which he said was a bit salty. He usually gets the asada which he loves, but wanted to try something new. Said was good just salty, can happen with carnitas I feel. I was going to get the same, but then I saw they had a California burrito and it called to me lol. I usually don't stray from my usual place I get Cali burritos from, but everyone's food looked so good, I felt good taking a chance! And I'm glad I did bc it was pretty darn tasty! I didn't even need salsa, which is wild for me. Perfectly seasoned and a great size. Def had a good amount leftover. Parking is in a dirt lot and they have a tent for you to sit down and wait and eat. I also tried the horchata which was quite tasty. Thank you for everything! Sorry I didn't get pics of my food. Yelp Elite sin, but I was so hungry lol. read more

It's being a while since I found a good Mexican food truck that remind me one of my favorite food trucks in Bay Area. I ordered, Quesabirria- the flavors are wonderful, but wish it had more meat and cheese. But overall it was very delicios. Tacos- carne asada and al pastor - my favorites l, very authentic. The meat was super tender and savory. Carne asada super burrito- it was good, but mainly rice. I didn't see much sour cream or guacamole. For me it was more like a regular burrito than a super. Special plate- 6 crispy carnitas tacos- very delicious . Carnitas were very tender. Plus their salsas ... yum! They were very fast after you put an order in. I did a mobile order on the spot and it was super easy. Wish that they had their food truck in a parking lot instead of a sand lot .... read more

Look, I am a Mexican food connoisseur. I have eaten it in Mexicali, LA, Texas, San Diego, San Francisco, Sacramento, New Mexico, Las Vegas, and even France. This spot is the bomb. I've eaten here a few times and it never disappoints. If you are ever in the area and craving some amazing Mexican food, stop by and give this place a try. You can place an order online or phone it in too. It's a big food trailer but they have tables and a pop up tent to keep you shaded. I tell everyone about this spot 11/10 read more

Yea, so there's a reason for a perfect rating overall. The chile relleno is insane. The homemade tortillas make it incredibly tasty. My wife got the surf and turf burrito, which was phenomenal. We also got a el pastor taco on the side. I asked for extra spicy salsa and they hooked me up. Great experience and I can't wait to go back. read more

Outstanding food.. Really enjoy everything we get and always friendly staff Love this truck.

Been there twice so far after a good friend recommended it. The first time we really enjoyed the tacos, very tasty. The second time we got 2 burritos however my husband's was supposed to be a super burrito however it was only meat rice and beans. We got charged for the super burrito. So that was a disappointment. I had the chili relleno burrito which I enjoyed. read more

Run, don't walk, to this taco truck. Great food, great prices, great service, never misses! Burritos, chimichangas, tacos (including birria, shrimp, and fish), taquitos, nachos, quesadillas, beans and rice . . . all good. The only downside is sometimes when we want their food the truck isn't at its usual location that day. Call or check their schedule first! read more

Food hit the spot, friendly staff, and didn't have to wait long either. Would definitely come again

I ordered the carne asada super burrito and two soft carnitas tacos. The burrito was one of the better ones in the area. It had a nice balance of ingredients so nothing in the burrito was too prevalent (e.g. too much sour cream, too much meat, etc.). The carne asada was a bit too gristle-y for my taste so I'd probably pass on that meat and go with carnitas instead. The carnitas tacos were your typical street tacos, simple but good. The prices are great and the people working were so friendly. I can't say I was wowed by the food but I will say I think it's probably some of the best Mexican food in the area so it's good enough that I will be back to try it again. read more

We were craving breakfast burritos so we decided to give this place a try! We ordered the California burritos as they come with fries inside. I got the adobado (based on a review rec) and he had the chicken based on what the employee recommended on the phone. He said his chicken was very flavorful and tender--one of the best breakfast burritos he has had. Unfortunately my pork was very dry and bland..I pulled it out in order to enjoy the burrito. Maybe it wasn't fresh or was a bad batch. The salsas were flavorful. Based on my husbands experience, I'm giving this place another try but will stay away from the adobado next time. read more

Hands down the BEST Mexican food we have ever eaten! The fish tacos are to die for! So fresh, crispy, and delish. We also love the shrimp fries and carniatas tacos. We absolutely love every dish we have ordered and are planning to try one of everything. The service is quick and they are so kind. Thank you for so many tasty meals! read more

I finally tried here today afterseeing their truck on Baseline for over a year. I placed an online order and the food was prepped quickly. The price is reasonable and the portion is good! I had 3 different tacos and they were all good. The packaging for takeout tacos was not great so they were smashed tho. The buritto was packed but just okay. I would try their tacos again but right there on the spot, so they will be nice and fresh. read more

I will always go out of my way to try a new taco truck or stand especially if its got good reviews and the food looks legit, I just happened to be in the Roseville/Rocklin area with a couple of hours to kill and an empty stomach, so I was sitting in a parking lot looking for something good. And to be honest I wasn't even looking for tacos, but tacos found me! Even though it looks like it inland and would take some time to get there, its really not. Super easy to get to and hard to miss, its sitting on the side of the road in front of a field. I was excited, this is the kind of place I like. At new places, I like to get a feel for how the meats and flavors or in their simplest forms, and to me thats the taco, tortilla, meat, and some onions with cilantro. You can tell a lot on about a place just with tacos, is the meat going to be dry? is it going to be bland? chewy? The meat sets the tone for every other menu item. So I usually get a good variety of tacos, before I dig in I take a little bit of meat from each taco and try it on its own before its covered up with salsa and onions. I ended up with quesabirra, carne asada, pollo, abodoba, and carnitas. the birria taco was a little thin on the meat and cheese side, but the meat was moist and had that good birria stew flavor, I wish there was a little bit more to it but it was a good way to start of the sampler. next up was the carne asada, the meat was nice and tender and also had good flavor, the pollo was on par with the carne asada also, they used some good seasoning to make it stand out and not get lost, but the stand outs were the abodoba and the carnitas, if I wasn't already getting full I would of gotten a couple more of the last 2! I have noticed that some taco trucks and stands have started to raise their prices but the quality of the food doesn't justify the prices, I am happy to say that Barrios was priced well and the quality and flavor is better than a lot of the more expensive places I have been to. Would I go back? 100%! I am now looking forward to finding myself in that area again, and hopefully sooner than later. read more

The best carne asada burrito for miles. I got the super and it was absolutely delicious. Affordable. I've been stopping at this place off and on for the past year. The food is always fresh and made with love! Today, I wanted a challenge. I ask for a spicy chorizo breakfast burrito. The gentleman taking my order asked if I wanted jalapeños. Yes! He then asked if I wanted Diablo sauce. Of course!! We'll see how it feels coming out tomorrow. When they handed me the burrito, they warned me about the dice level and said to have a Coke nearby. Lol. By far the best breakfast burrito in a long time! The ambience is welcoming and unassuming. This food truck has a pop-up in front with a large table to relax at. Thank you!! I'm looking forward to my next challenge. You guys are awesome!! read more
