Pretty fantastic burrito place! I actually go three fried shrimp tacos. It was sooooo much food and absolutely delicious. I ordered online and went to pick it up. They even give you chips and salsa to go, and I got another bag of chips because they were fire! The restaurant is clean, the workers were very nice, and they greeted me as soon as I came in and asked questions just in case I wanted to make any changes. This place is located NW of I-94 and Merriman Rd, North of the DTW and the rental car return. We stopped here because we needed to refill gas before returning the rental car after visiting U Michigan. I posted current protein options (see photo). The bowl was not bad (see photo) for about $10. You choose your protein and whatever else you want in it (kind of like Subway style). The spicy chicken was not too spicy but still pretty good. This place has the best burritos and they're huge. They had to be a least a pound each. I'm not really a burrito person. I'm a crunchy taco person and they had that too. The other three people who I was with got burritos while I got the crunchy tacos. The hubby got the large burrito with steak $10.99 + $1.30 upgrade for the steak. I got the crunchy tacos $8.99 + $1.30 for the upgrade for the steak. The tacos came with three. You pick your protein. Then, you choose your toppings and sauces. There are endless possibilities and they make it in front of you. I loved my steak tacos. By the time we got it home my tacos were still crunchy. I got mine with the bang bang sauce and it was fire. I tried a bite of the burrito and it was delicious and I don't even like burritos. It makes a big difference when you can pick your own toppings and sauces. read more

Stepped off the plane, jumped in the rental and realized we hadn't eaten. The hangries! Yelp guided us here and it was a great choice. They were quick and the food was terrific. Lots of flavour. For under $15 I got a pretty big burrito and a pop. The place looked clean and it seemed like a decent area. Service was great and we ended up talking to the fellows for a few minutes. This place was terrible. First, the employees were cold, talked inaudibly at us and rushed us along. Like, we'd never been here before and instantly felt unwelcomed. After a long day of travel, we just needed to eat, so we ordered. We should have followed our guts and left instead. I don't order a lot when I get a burrito bowl. It's usually rice, meat, cheese, corn and sauce since I don't do veggies. They were so stingy on the corn, cheese and sauce in my bowl. My husband noticed the same on his with all the veggies. We sat down and dug in and the pork was the saltiest I'd ever had in my life. It made the entire dish inedible. We stopped in BurritoBar briefly while traveling, and I wish they had more of these closer to where we live! The food was flavorful and tasty while still being light and not overly greasy. It was pretty quiet when we got there, but there's a lot of seating available. The staff was very kind and walked us through the ordering process. I ordered a Large Stake with everything on it. The burrito with out the meat would have been much better to chew. The stake was un-chewable it wasn't a good choice of meat. My family and I stopped and ate here after a Tigers game on our way back to our hotel, and overall, our experience was pleasant and I could not complain too much. I had a carnitas burrito with a barbecue type sauce (someone ordered for me!), which overall was pretty good - not the best I have ever had, but still pretty good. The pricing was fairly competitive to any other type of similar burrito we would get, but overall, our experience was satisfactory. I really wanted to love this place and it has so much potential. I ordered 3 tacos. One veggie which was god awful and couldn't not eat it. Veggies were over cooked, rubbery and flavorless. It looked like they tried to ground it to have meat texture and failed. Beef taco was ok. No better than Taco Bell. Over priced for the value. Verde sauce cost and extra cost $1 which is a tiny cup and not enough for 3 tacos. Also staff has no personality. Place looks nice vir they failed miserably. read more

I doordashed this last night so it's not a review on the restaurant it's just on the food itself. I got the shrimp bang bang burrito with all the toppings except pickled jalapeños. Im Mexican and this is the best burrito I think I've ever had. It was scrumptious. The heat was nice too not volcanic but not ting either. My only confusion was my boyfriend got the large version and it didn't look any bigger to me and for a 3$ difference there should've been an ascertainable difference. The young man who waited on me was not very friendly AT ALL. No greeting and all he said after i asked for a bowl was large or small. As I chose my toppings, he was just looking at me like I was a nuisance to him until we got to the jalapeños he then put about five small pieces on a large bowl. I politely said, could I get a few more. At that time he grabbed a handful. I had to tell him no, not that much. He smirked, shook his head and got a nasty look on his face. I ordered steak, and my husband ordered chorizo. The steak was just a weird shredded up beef mixture in some kind of sauce and the "chorizo" didn't taste anything like chorizo. Small portions and so expensive. $50 for my tacos, my husbands burrito and my daughters bowl. Doubt I will be back. read more
