In Manchester this should not be a problem but not knowing the area very well and looking only for American fare this can be difficult. Thankfully, Yelp came to the rescue once again. Seeing the reviews and that they served breakfast all day brought us in. I hadn't eaten anything yet so I was really quite hungry. Walking in this little place felt very casual and homey. We were greeted warmly and directed to sit wherever we wanted. We chose a seat across from the bar and sat down. The menus are on the tables and someone came over quickly to take our drink orders. We both decided on coffee and also on the Yankee breakfast. Not 100 percent sure on the name, but it was two eggs, home fries or beans, toast, and a slice of pie!! I was super hungry so I ordered a side of bacon and one blueberry pancake. Coffee comes with every meal at no extra cost! When the food came everything was cooked perfectly. The toast had a little much butter but I hadn't asked for it to be light. I was happy the pancake came with the butter on the side. I shared the cake with dad as well as the bacon. That pancake was huge! I meant to get a picture of it but by the time I thought to it was somewhat massacred. After we finished all that we dared they brought out the pie. I decided on cherry and dad had apple crisp. The pie was huge and as good as it looked! I gave this place five stars because the food was good and the staff was awesome. Also they make you feel like family which is rare these days. Will be back for sure.

Service was good as it was busy, but not delayed. Friendly waitstaff. Nice place, good food and fair prices.

This rustic shop on the grounds of this historic property is quite picturesque. When you pull up to the red old barn store you will immediately see an old wooden buggy right out in front that is from the days of yesteryear. Outside there is a good assortment of seasonal plants & herbs you can purchase. Step inside the shop you will see it is loaded with wreaths, regional products, local honey, locally made items, gifts etc. There are also 2 beautiful wooden horse carriages from a Bygone era. This place takes you back to much simpler times. We ended up getting some local honey to go. After you have done your browsing & shopping go across the street The Inn itself has rooms for lodging, there's an inside & outside restaurant & bar. This is the oldest continuously operating Inn in the US dating back to 1716. Drive up the street a bit on the same side & visit the Grist Mill ( a great place to picnic), The Waterfall, The Pond, The Glacier Rocks. Then directly across from the Grist Mill is the Redstone School that's where the nursery rhyme Mary Had a Little Lamb took place, & The Martha Mary Chapel where they filmed Mathew McConaughey Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. So Much Free Stuff & Such a Cool Place! It used to be, you had to have Mega Bucks & be really rich to have the Good Life, not anymore. The Game has changed. You've been Upgraded. Now You Can Live Like a King on a Limited Budget!
