This is the first workout class I've been too that did not have music in the background. Oddly enough, this class did not need music. It is very beat driven as the instructor is guiding you through your practice. They offer several different classes to fit everyone's needs and experience. They don't seem to really like their jobs. They just hand you a board and don't say anything during check in. I thought coach Sarah was great! Others agreed and said the same thing. I also enjoyed Sydney's classes. Unfortunately, I thought their lead coach, Vassar, was the WORST lead head coach I've seen across the 75-100 studios I've been to so far. He is abrasive, confrontational, and makes awkward attempts to "flirt" with female clients while on a live mic. He confronted me for "rowing too quickly", which was unprofessional and ridiculous. He also went out of his way several times to confront me for using my phone while I was on the stationary bike (which is clearly SUCH a safety hazard, I've fallen off that stationary bike so many times *eye roll*. I never run and use my phone on the treadmill, common sense goes a long way sometimes. Finally, Kelsey, the studio manager, did a poor job handling the situation when I voiced my dissatisfaction with Vassar. This makes sense given how the studio just doesn't have a "happy" vibe. It starts from the top. In contrary the Woodruff Rd location and even Greer locations are GREAT! Both have different managers.

After I was unable to travel to Greenville for my 5th in-person 18-hour workshop, I was offered the 3-page AI-generated summaries, partially inaudible Zoom recordings, notes, and a link to a TED Talk in place of a refund - for a $325 payment. I also no longer have access to recordings of the sessions I actually attended in person due to the studio's lack of web storage. Prior to this, their 300-hour program that was originally advertised as 18 optional weekends completely changed after I had already paid $3,300. I was told this was in order to allow more students to sign up because they needed a way to pay their teachers. When I communicated my disappointment over multiple topic removals, I was offered, "maybe a dinner one Saturday evening your in town." Additionally, trainings advertised as running 8am-6pm have ended 1-2 hours early on multiple occasions, which doesn't meet Yoga Alliance's required contact hours. If you're considering a significant financial investment here, go in aware that there's no flexibility if plans change on your end, even though flexibility clearly exists when it benefits the studio.

It is so wonderful to be "in the present" in her classes, and be able to connect the mind to the body. Kelly is the best Yoga teacher I have ever had, and I have been doing Yoga for 15 years. Each class has a different inspirational message, and Kelly's singing voice is a beautiful end to a wonderful class.
