I was scared to try barre, as I have ZERO dance experience or flexibility and even less coordination when it comes to dance! I didn't expect this awesome of a workout either, truly. I have been going 2-3 times a week for the last month. Every class has been great, and I'm sore after each one, which I love! Even better, 4 weeks in and my clothes are already fitting differently!! All of the instructors are amazing. They push you, but in a gentle way that makes you feel comfortable. Barre Forte is an amazing, welcoming place. The owner, Jordan and the instructors are wonderful. Jordan works with members constantly to improve the schedule and to add new content to the workouts. The mini barre they offer (childcare) is fabulous. I've been an exercise enthusiast for years. No place compares for a mind/body workout. I am currently trying Barre for a month and am truly enjoying the workout routines. Each one is a little different, and challenging. The instructors are all very nice and help push you in a gentle way. Even after going 2 -3 times a week, I'm surprised at how sore you are afterwards, of course in a good way! I've been a member for almost a year. I enjoy a variety of workouts, but barre is the one that keeps me strong and INJURY FREE. The low impact workouts keep me fit when I am off of a running schedule, and make it easy to transition back into a running schedule without overuse injuries. I love everything about this place! Jordan, the owner, is super friendly and makes you feel at home even if you're a newb. The atmosphere of the studio is very inviting and the instructors will challenge you to push yourself without making you feel silly if you're struggling a bit. Went to Jordan's bounce class this morning and she makes it look so easy and effortless. I'm a little less coordinated but love the class and challenge. Her space is awesome and always clean.
