A snowstorm the day before the wedding created a beautiful backdrop for photos, too, so a winter wedding was spectacular! This quaint, out of the way, farm provided a casual, yet elegant setting. We never felt rushed and the owners were quick to help when it came to moving around chairs, flower arches, and decorations. An added plus was the loft which was ideal for video and a birds' eye view of the ceremony. Location was within minutes of hotels, so guests didn't have far to venture. The fact that the ceremony AND the reception were in the same building was really neat. The turnaround from "chapel" to "dance floor" was fast, too! I would recommend anyone considering a party venue to consider this place. It will be a unique experience regardless of what type of party you have.

They would bring us waters when we were looking dehydrated. My guests told me that the staff was amazing and helpful at every turn. The staff knew what they were doing, were very organized and very polite to all of my guests, they wanted to ensure that everyone was having an amazing time. The venue, also amazing. We had about 155 guests that fit in one half of the hall space perfectly. We were able to set everything up the day before the wedding so we weren't stressed on our wedding day. Chad was very responsive to anything we were needing including tables, linens and made sure everything looked beautiful the day of. We booked out wedding at The Heights about 8 months out from our wedding day. The first 7 months or so it was a bit challenging to get ahold of the Chad but the month before the wedding he would answer every call and email right away! The first couple projects we completed were the string art kits. The curbside pickup was seamless and the staff was super friendly! I got home to find the wrong color board but the issue was addressed promptly and Revel went above and beyond to make sure their customers were happy! Picking up a new board couldn't have been easier. Also, when I was at the end of my project and about 15 nails short, they were gracious enough to mail them out to me so I didn't have to drive from Milwaukee to Madison. The customer service here is phenomenal and really made me feel like they cared about their customers. I will be the first to say that I'm not a crafty person but the "Love" design was one I was willing to put forth the effort for and I'm so glad I did. Hammering all those little nails took a little more time than I expected and I'm glad this was a project for home so I could work on it as time allowed. Our next project is the etched coasters and can't wait to see how those turn out. I look forward to being able to visit Revel during "normal" times and take advantage of their workshops and events. Thank you Revel for the at-home crafting experience and thanks to Yelp for the sweet savings! :)

Generally, you…read moredon't go through the main entrance you go down the drive to the side of the building and that's where the outdoor seating is. There's quite a few tables and chairs, but even so on a busy summer evening it might be full. As good as the food is here, the service can be a little iffy, and the bar service can be very slow. This evening three of us ordered gin and tonics which came without limes in them. This is like sacrilegious to gin and tonic drinkers. You shouldn't have to ask for limes in this drink. The other thing that was irritating is that salt and pepper was not on the table and butter did not come with the entrées which included baked potatoes. It was brought on request but it's just odd that they wouldn't have have these things on the tables already. Our waitress was a high intern so we went easy on her and hope she learned something from us. We still tipped her well. That said it's a great Wisconsin fish fry place and worth stopping for.

Throughout this entire year, we have been so thrilled with them. From the get-go, Kyle (our onsite coordinator) and Justin (a manager) helped us with the process. Kyle was phenomenal!!!- unfortunately, he is leaving for a new job. But both of them were amazing and SO helpful. We chose the Uni Club because of its vintage vibe, the price (the rental includes a year membership and was WAY cheaper than any of the places I was looking at in Madison & Milwaukee) and their flexibility. This was especially important for me, as I can be a bit of a snob about food and drinks. And they blew me away with this-- I had requested that they bring in oysters for me and my husband to share, along with a couple of other special food requests. They also let me select the wine I wanted to feature (because I didn't want Canyon Ridge or some other generic wine like that)- we ended up going with their wines they had in house because they were all amazing! They were so good about communicating with us and working to make the day exactly how we wanted it. They set up all of our decorations for us, Kyle stuck around the whole night to ensure everything went really well and everyone was raving about how wonderful the spot was that we chose. I dropped by for lunch recently and ordered the $9 Cauliflower Chickpea Quinoa Sandwich (a seared cauliflower, chickpea and quinoa patty with provolone, sun dried tomato pesto on a griddled sourdough roll) with a side of over salted sweet potato fries. The patty had a bitter taste from being slightly burnt and was overwhelmed flavor-wise by the potent sun-dried tomatoes. While my server was fantastic, the pace of the meal moved along at a crawl, probably due to a large banquet being hosted that day. While I enjoyed the novelty of visiting the venue, the food will keep me from making repeated visits.

The bride and groom got married on top of a small hill with an amazing view. After the ceremony we went to barn, which has an outdoor bar area. The inside of the barn is decorated so neat and has a comfy romantic vibe. There were snacks, and other drinks inside. I am guessing some of the decorations are standard and the rest the wedding party brought. Dinner was at an outdoor tent across from the barn. The food was delicious! And served family style. I am not sure if the food was catered from a local restaurant or from the venue itself. We had rolls, salad, chicken cordon blue, small steak fillets, asparagus, broccoli, potatoes and Mac n cheese. It was a ton of food. All so good! After dinner we went back to the barn for more drinks, desserts, and dancing. The wedding was on Sept 28th. It was warm where the wedding took place. The walking paths can be uneven but the wedding invite stated wear comfortable shoes, no heels. Some of the paths are steeper but the staff has golf carts for those who need a ride. The bathrooms are clean. There were little touches like bug spray and blankets. Super friendly staff. I am writing from the guests point of view. We had a really good time!
