Thought to expand on my previous review. Have been playing guitar for 56 years. Trust me.. no matter what I have executed and accomplished in life... music is my soul. Last summer, I managed to tear my right rotator cuff. Was unable to "hang" my right arm over the box of any of my acoustic guitars. I was devastated! My Primary Care Physician misdiagnosed (even with an X-Ray) as arthritis. He prescribed lots of medications for pain. After 6 months with little to no change, I demanded the PCP send me to a Ortho. Ortho clued me in that it was a torn rotator cuff in about 3 minuted. Of course... surgery was recommended with an 8-10 month recovery. I decided to go back to Dr. Mike and give chiropractic a try before surgery. I am extremely glad I did. Within 3-4 months I was able to play guitar again. He not only fixed my shoulder through chiropractic and suggested exercises... He fixed my soul! Better than that it does not get. read more

My 15 year old daughter has seen Dr. Mike now 6 times this month. She is a cheerleader and also attends gymnastics classes. Her complaint was mostly lower back pain. Dr. Mike is phenomenal. First and foremost, he explains the procedures and assessments clearly. He is patient, kind and has made my daughter feel very comfortable. Dr. Mike and his office assistant, Fonda, are amazing! I have been a patient of Dr. Mike's for nearly 15 years! He has always taken the time to explain how my body works and different stretches I can do at home between visits to help with my minor complaints. He is very knowledgeable and respectful towards any questions I have had in the past. I even moved five hours away for a few years and came back to Barnhart on a monthly basis just for my appointment because I couldn't find any chiropractor that came close to Dr. Mike in my new town and state. I have whole body degenerative arthritis and had been in extreme pain for many years, which included taking prescriptions for my pain. I just happened to stop by and inquire at Dr. Finley's office. He was very helpful and informative. Once through the initial treatment, I was even able to stop taking my prescriptions for my pain as I don't have the constant pain anymore. I'm able to walk, bend, sit, reach, etc. without pain now. Dr. Finley also explained the need for monthly maintenance which I've been going once a month and will continue forever! Dr. Mike is an excellent chiropractor. I always feel better after I get an adjustment from him. I have gone to him for several years, and always am back on track after he works on me. I have a problem with my right knee, that extends from a old injury that never healed quite right. I was ready to go to an orthopedist recently becausese I was miserable and could not walk without pain, but due to time constraints I thought I would try an adjustment to get me through for a while - and it HAS! I have been going to a different chiropractor multiple times a week for over a year with limited results, I have neck/shoulder issues as well as curvature of my spine and loss of the curve in my neck. I was very skeptical of trying someone new, however, I took a chance with Dr. Finley and I'm amazed how much better I feel. Dr. Finley has done wonders to my previous back pain. Easy to schedule or change appointments. Fonda is the secretary. She is always welcoming and helpful. Children are welcome. I went to Dr. Finley for a severe pain in my back. During my initial visit he started asking about my history with headaches. I told him that I get headaches every other day and have had them since I was about 12 years old. I'm 40 now. He's been treating the back issue; however, he's also focusing on an issue in my neck area. We have been patients for close to ten years; myself, daughter and son. Dr. Mike is genuine and caring. He educates his patients because knowledge is power! In 2006 Dr. Mike found a spot on my x-rays. He had my x-rays reviewed stating that the spot was in the renal (kidney) area.
