Pat Benatar has been on my bucket list for years and I couldn't wait to see her at this outdoor venue! They offer seats closer to the stage and as you move up towards the concession stands you have what are called "lawn" seats which are much cheaper and you bring your own blanket or chairs. I bought amazing seats close to the stage and enjoyed the first few songs before an unruly couple helped themselves to empty seats in between me and another couple. They kept bumping into us until we decided to move yo another row. Here is my beef: when I talked to security about the couple and their behavior they did nothing about it! They would not approach them or ask to see their tickets. It was very hard to enjoy the show after that:( The venue itself is lovely - I love the outdoor space but would I go back after that experience? Well, not to sit near the stage. Today, Thursday , they have wines by the glass for $5! What an incredible deal. Since I drink only white wines, I was able to get a generous sample of 3 different wines for less than a tasting! Wines are good but not as good as I remembered before they sold the winery. We had the Diavola pizza and the Porchetta sandwich. The pizza was delicious. The sandwich was pretty good but it was a little dry. We also ended our lunch with a lovely tiramisu. The tiramisu was moist with the right amount of alcohol and cream. Just delicious. Service was great. The staff are very friendly. My son has a dairy allergy and can't have the cheese on regular pizzas. The chef was very accommodating and allowed us to bring in our specially wrapped vegan cheese to use on his pizza. Thank you for this accommodation! The eatery was very calming and was a wonderful way to spend our lunch hour. They did not rush us and we felt very welcomed. Definitely will be back here again.

Once I heard what happened I was more sad but happy to hear the new owner wants to continue Vina Robles. I wish as a member I would have gotten notified. Went to their new location which was really convenient since we were going to other wineries near there. It's still a big location. Plenty of seating and they still offer food which we were happy about. Our server was super sweet and knowledgeable which I always appreciate when it comes to wine. We started a tasting and then just tried whatever she gave us which we weren't complaining. Haha. All the wine she was giving us was really good. I was really impressed by their food. I wanted more of everything. We got their bruschetta al Fresco, hummus, monte Bianca pizza, and one other pizza. I fell in love with their bruschetta. We got there right as there kitchen closed which was a bummer because I wanted more. Overall, I still enjoy their wine. Their location is really nice. Food is delicious. I will conintue being a member and will stop by anytime I am in the area.

This year (or last night), was in the 80's and it cooled off nicely in the evening. So, I went. Well, I have lukewarm feelings about it. I like the small town and rural feel of it, a little bit cowboy. But I feel it is 90% overpriced crappy food vendors. Kinda what you want and expect from a fair, but still. My gal and I got in at 615pm, and perhaps the highlight would be the barnyard animals...and all that we saw were rabbits. Ugh. We didn't go for the music, as most people do, but on this night were the 60's band, Herman's Hermits. They did a few of their hits, and covers of others from that era. Good performers, but not my cup of tea. All in all, 2.5 hours and we had enough. Best part: parked at Lowes, and took a bus to/from. A beautiful clean bus at that.

So take your time, sip your wine or whatever, and then go for a walk. There are violet lights probably UV along the path to help you walk. The paths are CA6 gravel, and are fairly smooth. There was a high path and a low path - We needed steps, so we took both. There are bathrooms strategically placed so if you have to go while way out there, it isn't a problem. Look to the right of the toilet and push the foot pedal to flush. The bathrooms were clean. Two sections featured music, and as we were walking out there was a live jazz band playing. Don't forget to tip the band! We took around an hour. The path out is well marked and easy to follow. We were able to get back to the parking lot and found our car in the well-lit parking lot easily. This is good for kids and adults. Give it a go!

They were parked outdoors and it was cool to be able to walk up to the planes and tanks that our military used in different wars. There was also an enclosed area with antique cars. There was a gift shop with souvenirs for purchase. This museum was impressive and well worth the time to visit.

If you go inside, just ask for fish food. They give one little cup to each person (so they don't get over fed). It's plenty enough. Our toddler enjoyed feeding them. There's no barrier or gate or anything between the patio and pond, so make sure you watch your toddler! As for the wines, we did a tasting and I honestly can't remember because Bianchi was our 3rd winery. I drank so much already and was buzz. My husband bought 2 bottles, at least I can try them at home now. They also had a pizza vendor. We also ordered a charcuterie board. Super fun winery for kids!
