Jerome's access, speed, research, attention to detail, and ability to close a deal are what I found to be qualities that separate him from other agents. When I first started my search for an agent, I contacted seasoned agents who had great reviews and specialized in certain areas I wanted to live in. What I found is that it took a day to get in contact with them and some simply we're too busy to look at new homes on the market. In the LA real estate market timing is incredibly important. Jerome understood those requirements and was incredibly accessible and very fast. Whether it was phone, text, or email, Jerome was always available to answer any questions or contact me with new information. He was also extremely fast to inform me of new homes on the market and show them as quickly as possible. Jerome was a very good researcher also. I was certain which city and area of Los Angeles I wanted to buy. However once Jerome understood my needs, he was able to find a new and upcoming area that met my same needs and was much closer to the area I worked. He was also able to manage my expectations. There were times when I was excited after seeing a home and I would want to put in an offer. Jerome would research comparables and also tax records to see if there we're any issues of concern and sometimes advise against making an offer based off that research. If I was with another agent who was just looking to make a sale, they would've just gone forward with the sale. Jerome wanted to make sure I got the best home possible. Jerome's ability to close the deal saved my thousands. The drama begins when you finally found a home and have to make an offer. Minutes after a home went for sale and before it hit Redfin and Trulia, Jerome notified me and scheduled a showing asap. By the end of the day an offer was in and by the next morning Jerome worked the sellers agent to get them to say yes. I can't tell you how important that was as the coming weekend would've initiated more views and probably much higher offers. Jeromes attention to detail further saved me thousands. I wasn't prepared for the roller coaster that was 30-day escrow. Jerome made sure to get the sellers' agent to agree to important addendums. Pretty soon there were costly repairs that came up where the selling agent would try to balk by saying "the house is sold as is." But it was Jerome's important addendums to the purchase agreement that made sure I was protected from those costs. I am beyond pissed that my basement problem hasn't been fixed yet…read more I called my landlord yesterday at 12pm to have them send a plumber because there is a drain backed up in my house and I have (literally) shit in my basement around my floor drain. The plumber showed up at 6 and said he fixed the drain and went on his merry way. 7pm and my sister started the clean up process. When she turned on the utility tub, the basement drain backs up again and human waste comes back up the drain. She called the plumber and said that he would be back after his job he was on. 10pm no call 11pm no call 12am we text him and called to see where he was at and when he could return 1am we called again and no answer By 2am we were both so tired we couldn't take it and fell asleep. When I woke up at 9am this morning, I called the plumbing company and said the problem wasn't fixed and the plumber never came back last night like he said he would. Steve, the landlord says he will get the plumber out asap. As of 3:45pm, still no plumber. Meanwhile, more and more of the backup is coming up and onto the basement floor. The spot spread from a 3ftx3ft area to a 6ftx15ft spot! I am LIVID!!!
