Hear Again has both new and used records, as well as a killer cassette selection that includes a lot of recently released music, which is hard to find. Everything is priced extremely reasonably. The person behind the counter is always super kind and personable, and willing to help out and give great suggestions. This is a great place for a music lover to be on a hot day (or any day).

When I first started my record collection, I asked my music-loving co-worker where to go and he immediately recommended Hear Again! Located in downtown Gainesville only a few cobblestoned steps from the legendary Hippodrome Theater, Hear Again has a fantastic location in the heart of the city. You'll usually know when the shop is open based on the standing sign that is propped up during business hours! Upon entrance into the store, you're surrounded by some of the greatest tunes to ever be pressed on their various mediums with more genres that you could even count. Hear Again is so wonderfully organized and arranged, there never seems to be a a CD or vinyl out of alphabetical or genre order - talk about arrangement! The wonderful store owner also keeps a running list online of available vinyls, also available on their Instagram page which is updated weekly with new arrivals or sales. My favorite portion of the store? The used records! I've scored vinyls in prime condition for $5 or even less! One of my favorite details about Hear Again? Their COVID practices! Upon entry, you get your temp checked, hands sprayed with alcohol/sanitizer and you are then provided with gloves. I love it!! So if you're planning to show some love to your music collection soon, Hear Again has all the greats your record player could want!

I didn't really have a goal in mind for what I wanted, so just going through the stacks and browsing to see if anything caught my eye was the basic plan. Lots of people lined up, but I got through the line pretty quickly. Inside, the books are arranged in a reasonable order, and the different sections are easy to identify, so finding areas that interested me was not a problem. Coming across the cooking section, I found that there were a number of smaller cookbooks that I like to term as "Wive's Club Cookbooks" which can be some of the best/most entertaining cookbooks you can come across due to the nature of the recipes that are contained in them. You never know what you are going to find in them, though recipes from the 1960's are prevalent and gelatin comes into heavy play. Good stuff there, and I stocked up on them. Overall, the Friends of the Library book sale is always a good thing to go to!

Even here Liberals have to assert their politics. The book 'Rigged' by Molly Hemingway was in a section labeled "Political Fiction". I had read the whole thing and it was well researched, with over 84 pages of sources. I challenge anyone to find just one false statement in it.

They have a pretty good selection of games, there was a very nice gentleman that helped me find some games I was looking for (I forgot his name but I will edit this if I find out) the prices are definitely more than fair, and they said that they get new games in daily from trade ins so that always makes me happy! Just a heads up they do have a section over at their glass counter that's has an extra set of games, I didn't realize that until one of the nice workers pointed it out to me, they usually put more of the popular/recognizable titles there. Overall I love this place and I would totally come here more often but I would become bankrupt!

Coming from out of town to visit UF this was a total gem mine of a place. HUGE SELECTION of Amiibo, plushies, retro(which I'm extremely into), counsels both common n rare, hand helds, lots of SNES/DS/3DS, modern day game and lots of friendly faces. If you enjoy any of this stuff IT WOULD BE A DISSERVICE FOR YOU NOT TO CHECK THIS PLACE OUT. Also they had a bunch of huge tables in the back for locals to kick back or bust out some decks. They also offered to let me use their Wi-Fi. BIG BIG EPIC Shout out to Wes, Chris and Joey. Thank you for your kindness Wes. I found two of my hidden gems here and they also have a disc cleaner if you got a beat up scratch a datch one at home you need fixing so it's playable. I WISH THIS WAS MY LOCAL. Better than Disney world.
