This was a fun stop because we just love bookstores . Very spacious, very clean and got to love the book displays. There were staff ready to help if you had questions. Deven was very rude and hostile towards me when I was checking out. Didn't say anything, angerly took my money and basically through my boxes at me. When I told him to have a good day, he looked at me stone faced and didn't say anything. The other employees here are great, but something needs to happen to Deven. This is a solid Barnes and Noble Bookstore, huge in size and chock full of good reading material. I have been to bigger B&N for sure but the layout of this one is super easy to navigate and is on one end of the mall so you can start from a good walking point. Store is clean, friendly staff and had a Starbucks right inside for a drink or snack while you shop. My only issue - the clearance area has gone away. read more

I have always enjoyed browsing and buying at Barnes and and Nobles. I would always find a lot of good bargains in there clearance section. There were also lots of sales throughout the store. I was so disappointed that there clearance section, that looked like the merchandise has been there for years. Hardly any novels. Then I end up paying 18.00 for a paperback. Look out B &N. Amazon is looking better all the time. read more

This is a large bookstore in the mall and I spent quite a bit of time here browsing. I was looking for a specific book and I didn't find it but went to browse in the clearance section. It was 2 rows of various books including for children, war and history, music, and more. There were some interesting books for a decent price but I didn't want to get lug it home in case my small suitcase wouldn't fit it. There's a customer service desk in the middle of the store and I went there to ask about the book. The young woman was helpful as she looked it up in the computer and it said they didn't have a copy but she said she recalled seeing it and putting it on the shelf. She walked to the area and sure enough, there was a copy of the book. I couldn't decide if I wanted to get it but passed as with the exchange rate it would end up being a little more than if I bought it at home. I did get another book for a gift and there was no line up to pay. The cashier was friendly and processed my purchase quickly. Great bookstore and if I'm in the area again, I would come back and have a look. read more

I've been here several times. A lot to choose from, I usually grab a Starbucks and wander around the store. So funny thing I did notice was a mouse running around. Some kids were trying to catch it for several mins. They finally caught it and released it out in the car park. Service was fairly quick, well besides someone just cutting the line oblivious to anyone else who might be waiting....I guess you can't fix stupid! read more

I'm a fan of Barnes & Nobles due to their wide variety of books, cafe with yummy cookies and teas, and overall friendly and helpful staff. I was purchasing a few children's books for my new nephew and niece (twins).. and found that this Barnes had more variety than one of the B&N's back home. They actually had in stock the book that I was looking for... Large store, great selection here, and friendly staff! read more

This is a very nice B&N and we enjoyed going there this morning. The selection was quite good in all subjects - with the exception of art & photography, which are my favorites - and the history section was particularly impressive. Also; the café is attractive, and the people working in the bookstore section were very friendly & helpful. read more

Barnes and Noble is that corporate book store that people don't want to shop at because it is so corporate. yet, they have an enormous variety of books, and Starbucks located right inside. What could be better than that. I love that you can complete check out a book, and decide if you want to buy it before you do. This store is not full of workers that monitor you and make sure you aren't reading before you buy. I hate that. Why would I want to buy a book that I am not sure I will like? Thank you for being understanding Barnes and Noble. I love you, yet not IN love with you.. you have yet to get to that level! read more

Barnes and Noble on Miller Truck is a wonderful place. The people are very helpful and the cafe personnel are AWESOME! They are friendly, fast, efficient and did I mention friendly? I received an in-store credit after the Barnes and Noble lawsuit was completed. Approximately two weeks before the credit was to expire I went into Barnes & Noble and Duluth Minnesota and purchased a card with my credit. I didn't have to pay a dime out of pocket. I wanted to hold the remainder till I found something I really wanted. According to the email that I received from Barnes and Noble regarding that settlement credit if you purchase something with a portion of your credit your remaining credit will Not expire. About two weeks ago I went to the Barnes & Noble website to purchase some books. Only to find out that I had no store credit on record.I contacted customer service and they were unable to help me. I was told that the supervisor but look into the matter and I would receive and email from a supervisor within 28 to 48 hours. Days passed and I still have not received any emails. I contacted Custermer service numerous times science then only to be told that they would "look into it and get back to me". Not once has anyone contacted me. Extremely poor customer service! read more

Picked up a couple books and brought to the cashier to purchase (they didn't have any of the books from a popular author that we were looking for). The cashier didn't like what we were purchasing and made a rude and derogatory comment about it. Did not ask for her opinion. Did not appreciate her comments. No longer feel like this is a welcoming place if we will be judged on our purchase. Not impressed and glad our membership has recently expired. read more

Love the store. Was able to find books & ordering dvd's. Worried about the parking lot in our mall. Right now there are icy spots & there are chances of falling. read more
