I checked Amazon, but didn't feel like paying their price or supporting them in our current situation. I did a Google search for used bookstores in Duluth since I was planning a trip there for some groceries. The name of this place is what first grabbed my attention. I'm so glad it did! Not only did they have a copy in stock, it was half the price of Amazon! I didn't get the name of the person who helped me out over the phone, but she was awesome. She let me pay over the phone, was super-friendly, and when I did the curbside pick up, gladly left it outside the door when I arrived. For an antisocial person like me, that's aces! I hope to someday make an appointment to go in and look around because I am itching to spend money in a store that has already impressed me without me even having walked in the door.

I had to ask the lady multiple questions and she was very sweet and gracious and knowledgeable. My husband and I walked out of there with over $70 worth of books and that was all at 60% off. My husband was happy in the sci-fi section I was happy in the small travel section and I found the Ernest Hemingway book I wanted.

Plenty of high-priced LPS I guess, but very few lower-priced LPS, and I would guess they haven't put out a fresh 45rpm in two years. Their selection of singles is tired and picked-over, displayed in ancient cardboard boxes that sometimes fall apart in your hands. It's pretty much just a fantasy-gaming store now, with little else to offer.

This shop reminds me…read moreof some little underground treasure due to the entrance and how it is off a side street, a place only a select few know about and patronize. You walk in and are greeted by a friendly staff, you look around and notice the place is MUCH bigger than it appears from the outside. They offer a wide variety of collectibles, games, toys and comics. We spent about a half an hour in the store then headed over for the train ride. The owner was not in, his mom was working and you can tell she is a proud mother. Nice lady and super helpful - we will be back when in town!

This is a solid Barnes and Noble Bookstore, huge in size and chock full of good reading material…read more I have been to bigger B&N for sure but the layout of this one is super easy to navigate and is on one end of the mall so you can start from a good walking point. Store is clean, friendly staff and had a Starbucks right inside for a drink or snack while you shop. My only issue - the clearance area has gone away.
