Nice new shop in heart of small shopping centre. Good clean items. Cheap prices. Friendly staff. Well worth a look.

For anyone who has never visited, Dunelm Mill is a large shops which sells all sort of marvellous homeware, bed linen, furniture, kitchenware - basically anything you could possibly need for your home! As well as things you don't need but buy anyway just because they are pretty ;) In general the prices are reasonable even when there is not a sale on. The quality of the items which I have purchased has always been excellent, and on the rare occassion that I have had a problem, the staff have handled it well and issued a refund or replacement. Dunelm Mill often have some very good promotions on their bedding, which incidentally is the thing that I tend to shop there for most. They cater for all tastes - whether your home is contemporary or vintage inspired there's bound to be something that you need (or more often just want in my case!). Recently they have also started to sell online. Their web site is http://www.dunelm-mill.com . They do charge for delivery, though it is fairly reasonable at £3.95 for standard delivery or £5.95 for the next day service. They do have quite a lot of their products online; however, it is best to visit instore as they have more variety, and also the best end-of-line bargains tend not to appear on the website. Overall, Dunelm Mill is miles ahead of the more expensive homeware shops - great value, as well as offering durable and desirable homeware!

Run-of-the-mill goods (sorry - no pun intended), but that's ok…read more What is off-putting is the staff. Two out of 3 that i asked for help were not unhelpful, but you got the feeling they were annoyed at being asked. Not my favorite place to shop.

They also sell Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren and Fred Perry. The store is very spacious and has 2 floors. Although the items Eleven sell are undeniable quality the same can not be said for the lethargic customer service, their depleted stock levels and their online presence. On numerous occasions I have browsed their website, viewed an item I would like to purchase (with the website clearly stating the availability of the item including different sizes), only to find upon arrival to the physical store that they have sold out of the item, even though the website states the item is in stock. For example I wished to purchase a Paul Smith jumper, the website said the jumper was available in small, medium, large and extra large, however when I entered the tangible store Eleven only had medium in stock. I do question whether the relevant clothing is actually available in Eleven or just a marketing ploy to attract customers to buy other related items. Another issue I had was with the websites misrepresentation of their opening times. The website states the opening times as 9 - 5:30 Monday to Saturday. However based on past experience the shop does not open until 9:30, what poor service. In conclusion to this review I would recommend not using their online presence as an indicator on their stock levels/opening times, rather to phone the shop directly to make enquiries. For any potential customers interested in the world of designer labels purchase from reputable stores such as House of Fraser. Thank you for anyone who has taken the time to read this review.
