The play space is mixed for big and little dogs, so they have a rufferee who makes sure all fur babies play nice. WOW...a hidden brew spot on a side street in a warehouse district. Cool hang out brewery vibe inside with several tables and of course the Jenga game. Been here for three years. Outside is a double open window trailer that serves cold craft brews on tap. Next to the beer truck is a massive grass turf area for your dogs to play freely. $10 per dog or free to enter without a pet. Doggy day care coming soon. Digital pay for personal song choice jukebox, but plenty of songs playing for free. Just a really unique brew location. Free street parking but is tight when busy though. What a great concept. A private well/maintained dog park attached to a little beer and snack situation. I was a guest of a member and didn't have my own dog with me. But his dog loved it, is a frequent visitor and had a blast running around and socializing with the other doggies. I'm a dog lover and I like people pretty much too so this was fun. There's chairs all around the perimeter and the surface is fake grass so it is very well maintained. We each had a beer that was really good and the vibe was hip and chill. Enjoyed it very much. The dogs all need to be registered to enter and there are rules so beware before showing up spontaneously. My friend is a member so he can go as often as he wants. As a newer dog owner, I'm always a little nervous bringing my dog out to a dog park and places like this. But I was out at ease the moment we walked in. Such a open area for the dogs to play and love the agility course they have. It was cute to watch my dog conquer the ramp by the end of the night. Great place to grab a drink and hang with friends while the dogs burn off their energy. Food and drinks are easily available. There is also a woofarie to make sure that all the dogs place nicely. Everyone was very respectful and kept their dogs in check. My dog did get a little nipped at by another dog, but the owner was saying hi to mine and hers got jealous. Which she admitted was her fault. Everyone made sure my guy was ok too, which he absolutely was. When it happened the staff blew their fog horn and it stopped it immediately. But even with that, still 5 stars. I only wish I lived a little bit closer to make a membership worthwhile! I hope this catches on and more dog breweries become a thing! read more

My fiancé and I have been coming here since they opened and they always seem to be adding new cool things! I love the concept of this place. Allow your dog to run and play while you have a beer and socialize with other dog lovers. The ground is covered with turf grass so your pup still comes home clean. They have a doggy splash pad for those dogs that love to play in water. I also appreciate that all dogs must show proof of vaccination. I've met some really cool people here and would highly recommend. I also like the fact it's open late so you can have your dog unleash that energy at night in a safe space. The only thing I would say that would make it better is if they had a small dog park. While they do have attendants to make sure safe play is going on. My dog is a little intimidated by the big dogs so after 10/15 minutes she's ready to leave. But there are plenty of little dogs there that hold their own and have a blast. read more

Decided to go to a Halloween event at this location. Overall was not a bad experience but I think there's some improvement needed with communication about the rules to enter. There is a $10 daily entry fee but they also offer a VIP monthly membership. The location itself is for someone who feels comfortable with their pup interacting with all types of dogs. It's a large open area so large dogs interact with small dogs. I also wish they communicate that the dog needs to be sprayed/neutered and up to date with vaccinations before entering the park. I noticed a lot of people were turned away due to that. Seems like a nice area and would try to visit again (not during an event). read more

Bella my pup would like everyone to know this is a must place to visit! She has made so many friends each time her mom - me - takes her for a day filled with running around having fun! The entire staff & owners greet you with a smile, are welcoming & are always watching in case a dog becomes aggressive which that has never occurred while I've been there and we go quite often. Such a unique concept! This is a really cool spot for dog owners and it hits so many sweet spots for things to do. The outdoor area is pretty large with lots of cool shade areas, terrain features, and a giant water fountain for your dog to cool off. Inside they have a little bar area with a giant screen for watching whatever sportsball game is on that day. There's a second outside area that appears to be unused for the most part but they have additional seating and stuff there too. In front is a pull-up food truck but only tacos and quesadillas were on the menu. I do have a couple small critiques however: 1) The bar was low-pouring the beers, which is kind of annoying, so expect a lot of head and not a full pint glass (I so wish we could just adopt Europe standards of proper labeling of pint glasses) 2) The chicken quesadilla was pretty good, with fresh shredded chicken. However it is pretty small for $12. I understand we are living in an era of hyperinflation and people have to afford $2500 a month rents. But I would have expected at least twice the size of what they were offering. Maybe up the price like $2-3 and offer a more substantial portion. I was initially thinking I would split it with my girlfriend, but after seeing the size I had to reneg. I would recommend maybe adding some additional features like lawn games or something in the area being unused out back. It would be pretty cool to hang out there with your dogs leashed after letting them run loose in the park. Overall it's a great venue. read more

This is my first review ever and I'm so sad for it to be a bad one. Me and my two dogs had been waiting to attend your costumes event today 10/22/2023 since it was announced. First thing when we walked through to the door was a lady (Stacy) telling us "no cups allowed" before welcome or anything, which is whatever, I would've go and put cup back in my car. We didn't register online so I let her know before hand assuming she would help us do it there since they have a front desk. With the most disgusting attitude she proceeded to tell me "I know have to crate a profile for you, what are you dogs ages" as if that meant jumping over backwards for us, and I don't mean to sound like an a**whole, but that's her job, right? We were not allowed into the event because one of my dogs is not neutered and he is a year old, which I wasn't aware of but I respect and understand. To top it off, we were allowed to go take some pictures, as one of our dear friends were part of the event and she just stood there giving us nasty looks, I guess rushing us and then patted me on the shoulder at the end followed by "I have to go back to the desk so... *motioning for me to leave*" She made the whole experience unpleasant when it didn't have to be like that, all we wanted was to go have fun and support the vendors, and even if we were not allowed into the event, the attitude could have been much nicer. It's heartbreaking how one person can make the whole establishment look so bad. We won't be back as I'm not neutering my dog and this review in no way is meant to hurt the establishment but to let management know if things that matter, like the costumer service Stacy has no clue of. read more

10/10 I have a 4 month old Goldendoodle and I was hesitant to let him roam freely around other dogs. The staff assured me he was going to be a-okay. I loved that there was someone watching the yard and attentive to all the dogs. The locals who were there were all great- which made this visit even sweeter. They have a nice range of alcoholic beverages to choose from, alot of seating throughout the park to chill & lots of space to roam freely. They do ask for vaccination history so do be prepared to provide. Daily visits are $10, making the unlimited monthly visits for $30 totally worth it. I can't wait to visit again. read more

This is not your typical dog park. First of all, my dog likes to bark to show other dogs that he wants to play but most of the dog owners that attend tell him to "shhhhh" or "be quiet" like we're at a library. Unacceptable considering the place is a dog park and actually called "BARK-yard". A recent incident occurred when a dog was barking at another dog with a muzzle and continued to bark. Now it's fair that the barking was prolonged because of the dogs curiosity of the muzzle, but you could see the growing annoyance of people in the park. Once the owner picked his dog up to calm him down, everyone in BnB decided to give the owner a round of applause. Absolutely despicable! It was at this point when I knew we would not be going back to BnB again. Secondly. the wooferees, who act as a referee for aggressive dogs, only work on the slow days and not on the busy days, which is obviously counterproductive. Thirdly, people come here like it's a bar and more times than not, forget what the place really is. It's literally 5 mins away from the Las Olas strip with restaurants and multiple bars. These people should leave there dogs at home and go to an actual bar instead of acting like they're no dogs around at the park. Finally, the business is just poorly run. There are small dogs mixed in the same area as large dogs. This is the only dog park (including free ones in Broward) that doesn't separate +30 pound dogs from -30 pound dogs. So you can assume that people with their small dogs are paranoid that a larger dog trying to actually play, is trying to hurt their dog. I've seen this multiple times, and it's beyond disappointing that the owner has not had a chance to look at and take care of this GLARING flaw. The one positive I can give to this business is the beer selection is great! Good luck if you haven't been here before. read more

I'm not sure I agree with their vaccine policy, but I'm sure they have their reasons. Dogs over 10 months have to be vaccinated, so there's a better crowd than found at the average dog parks. What a cute idea! There is a store, an indoor beer garden, and an outdoor play area. The day pay is $10 but they also have a monthly membership or a yearly membership. Once we got Lily all checked in, we walked through the beer garden. We came on a Sunday right after it stopped raining so it was pretty dead. We grabbed two beers, they had about 8 on draft and then a selection of cans. The beers were a little pricey at 8-10 each but not terrible. We hung out inside in the beer garden for a little playing jenga and letting the dogs mingle and then made our way out to the huge play area. There were a couple agility training areas and a nice water pad. My dog wasn't too interested in either but she did love running around chasing the other dogs. I like the idea of grabbing a drink and hanging out while the dogs tire themselves out. I would probably get a monthly membership if I lived a bit closer but for now the day pass is fine to just stop in every once in awhile. read more

Came to B&B for some fun with the people and pups from my dog friendly gym. We had quite the group and it was so great seeing so many well behaved pups playing and interacting. There is always that one dog though (LOL)! They do a pretty decent job at maintaining the grass and such but it was a bit of a rainy day so there were some muddy areas. I loved the little water area they had for the dogs to play in! Overall, this is a great space nestled in the commercial area right next to Orchestrated Minds brewing. The parking is mostly street parking and it would be great if they had some information on their website about where it was ok to park to avoid getting towed. Their beer truck has can and draft options with a few other seltzers mixed in. I also think they had wine but not 100% sure. They have a great indoor area with TV's and picnic tables which dogs have to be leashed to be in but a great area nonetheless. My only complaint about B&B is that one of their staff members from the beer truck came up to my friend and mentioned that children under 12 were not allowed in the dog park area. We were very understanding but there was a VERY SMALL sign that we found that said this so they should definitely make sure to post this closer to the dog park entrance. My other issue was that this staff member said something to my friend but did not say it to two other people that had smaller children (who were definitely under the age of 12) that were actually running around chasing the dogs. If you're going to say something to one person - it needs to be said to everyone. Those kids remained in the dog park area the entire 2+ hours we were there with nothing at all said to their parent. I think Barkyard & Brews is a great concept and welcome addition to the south FL beer scene - will definitely be returning again. read more

It's a great concept but... We had a really great time with Polly, but they had some pretty dumb rules: 1. All dogs have to be spayed/neutered, but Polly was able to enter because she was a puppy and have not had her first heat by that time. They could just ask for dogs not to come when in heat. 2. You can not play catch with your dog, because and quoted "all dogs will want to play too" and what's the problem? I don't know. 3. Kids under 12 can not go into the backyard. Other than that, we had good beer and wine but we won't be back.. because well, we're not spaying our dog to be able to enter. read more

Run by idiots who have unsafe rules for the dogs, they allow aggressive ones, dont require vaccinations, lie about vets recommending communal water bowls not spreading disease, refuse liability for allowing aggressive or sick dogs, and they illegally denied my service dog. They also dont allow dogs to play with toys.
