I worked here as a Group Leader. The dogs themselves are lovely but this is not a safe or…read morewell-managed work environment. The interview process is a group Zoom meeting where they just explain the job, followed by an in-person group interview. You would think it's one-on-one but there are other candidates there and you barely get to speak or get asked any real questions. The listed shift is 8 hours but you will regularly get forced into unexpected 12 hour shifts. Breaks are only 30 minutes and bathroom breaks are very hard to get. Training is minimal. I had major concerns about group safety. Many highly reactive / aggressive dogs were approved for group, including a non-neutered male. The owner's personal dogs were very difficult to control. Some dogs were eating feces in the yards. When bites happen, documentation is minimal. Cleanliness was an issue with roaches in the break area. First aid supplies were low / expired. Attendance is extremely strict - calling out twice can lead to termination even after an injury, and terminations happen with no formal notice. Check your paystubs closely.
