This park used to be immaculately clean - on our last visit (early Oct 2025) the big dog area was covered in dog poop. We won't be returning and I'm angry. It's really disappointing that neighbors and guests can't manage basic sanitation or common courtesy, especially with plenty of trash cans & poop bags available. - it's unacceptable. read more

Nice big dog park in Bentonville, right off the interstate near Bella Vista. Curiously, there are a few benches but all are out in the open sun and not under any of the shade trees. So most people have to stand or sit on the ground to be in the shade. Another issue is the water dispenser/faucet is outside of the park, not convenient for the hot pups. There is a small dog park next door and trails along the sidewalk too. Convenient location. We will be back when it is not so hot! read more

I love seeing the people and their pups out there playing. When we initially proposed the project for my daughter's Girl Scout Gold Award project, we met with a lot of mixed reactions. A lot of folks thought it was a silly idea. But, with some help from David and Shelly who work for the City and of course the mayor, we got the OK, BUT ONLY if we could raise the funds and build it by the FEMA rules. So, from the generous people of NWA and some great corporate sponsors, it happened. There was a ton of work put in to make this happen by us all. It's been a few years since we opened it and the city maintains it, but the feeling I get when I drive by and see how crowded it is warms my heart. This review is for the trail that runs along the Bark Park. I did not bring a dog to the enclosed dog play areas. However, the three enclosed play areas look like a lot of fun for dogs. I would definitely bring a dog there. There are lots of fun obstacles and toys for dogs. Doggy bags are provided too. I went running on the trail that starts near the dog park. I did not run the entire trail, but I ran most of it. The part I was on was paved and I believe the entire length of the trail is paved. It is very beautiful along the trail. Tall, lush, green trees; a creek; and there are some grass fields. So beautiful. Can get a great workout in and distress being surrounded by nature. read more

Grateful for the park but room for improvement. It would be nice if there were a fresh water running fountain for the dogs. For the large dog enclosure, some sort of drainage for the water / mud and artificial turf that could be washed clean with a good rain storm would work so well. Grass just can't stand up to large running and playing dogs. The up front cost might be higher but will probably be cheaper than new sod on a continual basis. Having said that, I love the park. Would love to see it become even better. read more

We love this place! They have separate areas for big dogs and small dogs as well as a separate agility course. I've met some very nice people here, always friendly and always willing to share bowls of water with whatever dog wants some. It's a terrific space for my dog to get some exercise as well as practice socializing with other dogs his size. It does get very hot in the summer and has very little shade, but overall a nice spot for all u dog lovers. read more

Well what a great place to take your dogs .. Clean well maintained it seems that everybody that is there with their dogs are very friendly . They have water for the dogs it's a huge area for the dogs to run I got there close to dusk because of it being so hot my dogs not wanting to be in the blazing sun that's the only drawback of most dog parks They don't really have any place for you to sit or in the shade for you to get under or for your dogs if they want to rest. My dogs loved it they love interacting with all the other dogs it's a little far but we keep going back I wish every place that I've lived had huge dog parks like this they're so great for the community and they're so great for people to come together and get to know each other read more

This park is clean and well looked after. My boys love coming here, and run forever. There is always dogs here, and with 3 enclosed areas for large and small dogs, you won't have to worry about being over crowded, the agility park in the middle is fun. read more

Compared to our Kansas City dog park, this place is shiny and new! It is much nicer in amenities than most dog parks (newer fences, fresh paint, cute features, dog inspired benches, bathrooms, dog water fountain bowl, etc.), but I find the dog yard areas to be a bit small and narrow. It's still plenty of space for a contained run. This park has an area for little dogs, big dogs, and...wait for it...an agility course! It also has cute touches like painted fire hydrants and such. read more

Really glad that Bentonville has a dog park. Wish it had a little bit more shade and I wish that dog owners would clean up after their pets a bit better. Still, for a town this size to have a facility like this is impressive. We are lucky to have it! read more

My dogs and I love this dog park. It's spacious and they have two separate areas for large and small dogs. They also provide poop bags and trash cans, a water fountain, and restrooms. I do wish they had more shade for the summertime and maybe more benches for people to sit on while the dogs run around and play. I love that it has a walking trail alongside the park so people can walk or ride their bikes. read more

Great place for my dog. I really like how they have a large dog area and small dog area. The agility course looked like it had been removed. My dog is a ~4lb chihuahua so I like that he can play with dogs that are closer to his own size, however I do understand that he will always be the smallest dog at any park. Warning to other small dogs: he can fit thru the bars and escape the dog park whenever he wants. read more

I heard that this park was renovated after I moved to LA and he when I moved back and went to the park I am not sure where or how it was renovated. First off there should be a doggie station with poo bags next to the trash cans in each park for those owners who forget to bring their own. Secondly, the park is too close to a busy road where the fence to the park is too low. Many dog owners have pets who like to jump and cannot come to the park because of the short fence worrying about their dog jumping and running into the street. Thirdly, there should also be a water station. They need water spouts with a drainage system where there is a main water dish that can be pored out and filled up with fresh water. Sure there is a nice trail near the park. There are 3 different plays area, all of which are quite small, and one with dog station toys/obstacles, but there is a lot of land that could have been utilized and once utilized developed much better than what is provided. Overall, the park is not horrible, but they could have planned much better. I am sure they will renovate again, and with that in mind hopefully take suggestions from here. read more

This is one of the best dog parks. I went on a Sunday afternoon and there were probably 40-50 dogs there. It's great if you want to socialize your dog. Water stations would be great however. read more

Great dog park but needs more shade and water stations for dogs to cool off on hot days. I will keep bringing my dogs here because it is really nice, but will likely come early in the mornings/late in the evenings and bring their portable water bowl. read more
