Sam is a genuine dog lover and this shows when sam picks her up, and milly is always glad to see her. Sam also sends regular texts on how your pet is and will pick your dog up for free if your within 3 miles. The dogs are walked regulary and have fun. Like i say, milly looks forward to staying with sam and her family and we treat it as a wee holiday for her. Sam keeps your pet in her own home and not in a miserable concrete kennel. i will recommend sam to anyone looking to have their dog walked and or boarded. im glad I found her,and so is milly ;)

It stocks small animals and fish, although I have never noticed birds, but all of the stuff I buy is at the front of the store so perhaps they are a little further up. It's a relatively small store but packs in loads of stuff; we always get our puppy gravy bones from here which you can pick yourself, in a sort of doggy pick n mix. The prices are very, very reasonable too, with a good sized bag of dog treats coming to just under a pound. You would have paid triple that amount in Pets at Home! Hopefully this wee shop doesn't suffer because of Pets at Home's success!

They cut his fringe even though I had instructed them to leave it alone, they used the wrong size guard on one side of his neck and scalped him but then left the fur too long on the back of his neck and around his tail! The total lack of customer care has left me shocked and if they can treat their human customers this way then how are they treating the animals when your not there!!!!

On the Ball were great to communicate with - I simply messaged them through facebook and made a date for them to come to my place in their van. As Joffrey is just a puppy, Becca suggested just giving him a shot in the van without any actual grooming, just to get him used to the experience. Becca was so good with Joffrey, friendly and comforting and he really loved her. She showed him the scissors, clippers and comb, and was really gentle and getting him used to these new things. Joffrey was really happy throughout and she was even able to clip his paws without any problems. I'll definitely be using On the Ball for all Joffrey's grooming as Becca made the experience so relaxing and enjoyable.
