We are definitely not impressed with this service. I find it interesting that you can't even leave a review on their page...maybe because it's a joke....and very expensive. Never ever have I ever heard of basically barking at your dog, which is what the recommend. They came once, we paid them a buttload of money and that was basically it. No follow-up, no weekly visit, not squat. Basically if you want them to follow-up, you have to call them and keep calling. Terrible. Got their money and disappeared. We are very annoyed. Sharon is absolutely AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! I had my training session with her yesterday for my dog Cinnamon. Sharon understood all of her needs and was able to explain it to me. I learned so much about my dog such as how to lead her and how to use the correct body language and tones while communicating with her. I feel much more confident about keeping her. I know changing my dogs behaviors won't happen overnight but after yesterday's lessons i feel like i have developed the skills to see a change very soon. We started having aggression / insecurity issues with our lab after we decided to add a second dog to the house. We rescued her from a shelter at about a year old and thought the dogs would just get along. We were wrong. Our lab would go after the new dog very randomly. We became nervous because the new pup is much smaller than our lab mix and when the lab would go after her she would just roll over on her back but the lab would continue to go after her. New pup could not even walk by our lab without him lunging at her and wanting to fight. We started considering the reality that we may need to give back the new dog. We tried a lot of things to try to get our lab to respond differently to the new pup but realized after calling Sharon that we were doing a lot of the wrong things, which was making the whole situation worse. Long story short, we called Sharon and she spent a lot of time with us to address the problems we were having. We were at our wits end, but Sharon helped instill a confidence in us that we would be able to fix this no problem. After two long visits to our home and many many things to practice, our dogs are best friends after only a few weeks of working with them. I wouldn't have believed the behavior transformation without seeing it for myself. This is an investment that you will not regret. Let me start by being completely honest here. The first thing I realized from our first training with Sharon is, there truly aren't any bad dogs just bad owners. Now don't get offended, I, like potentially you reading this review right now thought well I'm giving him/her the best food, greatest toys, best care and love what more can I do but just accept the certain behaviors that aren't all that great. That was me. Until I realized it was time to start seeking help for the behaviors that he portrayed towards strangers (strangers that were simply walking by minding their own business) he would start barking and just going off. This held us back from taking him to dog parks and walking him at all times of the day because we were afraid of his reactions. He's a bully so you already know all of the judgment they already face based on breed. This was deterring him from his true greatness. Let me cut this a little short by just explaining that on the FIRST training with Sharon, we covered so much and the way she identified the issues and came up with the solutions instantly -- so awesome. We saw a DRASTIC change in ONE SESSION. We were able to walk our pup that afternoon without him barking and going off on people, thanks to her tricks. He has some more work to be done, but just based on the first session I can confidently say, he is going to be off leash walking with us by the end of this year! That is insane! What an amazing experience! Sharon is so knowledgeable, patient, and she's great with my Jax. He responded so well to her! We learned immediately how to read his body language, how to walk on a leash, and how to lead and not follow the dog. We went from him dragging us all over the neighborhood and not responding to commands, to him walking beside us and responding when called. My dog is terrified of his crate and Sharon gave us the techniques we needed to leave him free at home while we're gone. I hired Sharon because I was a new puppy owner and I was having a tough time. I was exhausted and frustrated about my puppy's biting. I felt guilty that I didn't understand him better and I was desperate for help. First, I would like to disclose that I never became a client. I spoke to someone named Daniel who made the experience sound very positive. Daniel did not give me his last name, or his call return information. So I then tried to call him back on the number that showed up on my cell phone when he called me. However, when I tried to call him back at that number, I got a recording that said, "This is a non-working number." To me that means this non-working number was programmed to show up as coming from his phone, even though it wasn't his phone number. -- that is the only way that can happen. I work in cybersecurity and I'm familiar with these types of tools. I then read the other reviews on Yelp and was put off by some...especially the one that said Marsha acted like follow-up visits were a burden to her. WOW, we just had an awesome training session!! Sharon is great, we played phone tag and texted each other all week, lol. We set our appointment for Saturday, Sharon met with my entire family, my daughter(10), son(14) and my oldest daughter(19) skyped in from college, and my young lady. Sharon provided great customer service! As a Bark Busters's representative, Sharon came in when we needed her the most and taught us how to relate to our dog and how our dog is supposed to relate to us. Our Greta- a full blooded Germen Rottweiler, is now trained in the Bark Busters - loose leach trained way. We was playing in a park and saw another dog pulling its owner. Greta sat quietly and waited next to me while the other dog pulled its owner. The owner of the misbehaving dog watched Greta sitting and being so good. I was very impressed with how Greta took to the Bark Busters Training and how Sharon helped us display good behavior. After the other dog left the area (so we thought) we let Greta run around and play on command. Greta was having fun until I noticed the misbehaving dog owner around the corner watching us. I searched online for dog trainers after my once lovable English Bulldog started becoming aggressive towards our other dogs, small pugs, that live in the house. I had come to the point with his aggression that I had considered removing him from our home because I could no longer trust him around the other animals. But, at 7 years old, it was hard to give up a member of the family, so I decided to find a dog trainer to see if we could work things out. At first, I was looking for the "cheapest" trainer but after reading Sharon's profile, I decided to call and make an appointment to see if she would us. Immediately when she came in the door she assessed Sam and saw issues that I originally stated in my online questionnaire and other behaviors that needed to be corrected such as jumping and door rushing. She talked with my husband and I and demonstrated techniques for about 3 hours before even discussing price. I was so happy that in the short time she was there, I was already seeing positive progress and thought that her training would really help Sam and begin to restore the order in our household. I purchased the lifetime training package and worked with Sam for about 4-5 weeks before having Sharon come back for another session. In that time between sessions I have seen DRAMATIC improvements in Sam's behavior from simple changes such as feeding 2x daily instead of once and implementing daily walks with leash control. Sam still has bouts of "training forgetfulness" but he has not attacked any of the pugs since the first session and I now feel much better leaving him alone with the other animals without being separated.
