Do you remember the details of the T&C when you click yes? I hope so, because if you don't, be prepared to have your appointment canceled. You are required to PREPAY 24 hours before ever receiving a service.
Here's what happened:
* I filled out a form online to get an appointment and they had me electronically sign T&C. In the T&C it says you have to PREPAY by 5 pm the business day prior to your appointment.
* They sent a text one week before the appointment asking me to confirm the appointment followed by another text asking if I'd like to add a tip on my invoice
* Then they immediately sent a text prompting me to pay an open invoice
(QUESTION: who is going to pay or think to pay an open invoice BEFORE the service is complete, especially in the context of adding a tip for services not yet rendered?)
* The afternoon before the appointment, I was sent a text at 3:32 p.m. asking if I was having difficulty paying the invoice and a note that my appointment would be canceled without prior payment
NOTE 1: I was in the car driving from the Seattle area to Moses Lake when this text came through
NOTE 2: the text did not specify the exact timing of when the payment had to be made (by 5 p.m. that day - or less than 90 minutes later!) - so I thought I could pay when I got to Moses Lake that evening
* I received a text at 5:00 p.m. LESS THAN 90 MINUTES later saying my appointment had been canceled
Note 3: I was still on the road, but called them to say I was in transit. They didn't pick up, so I left vmail explaining I was in transit and please hold my appointment.
* When I arrived in Moses Lake, I sent a text at 6:11 p.m. to reiterate that I had left vmail and that I was driving when they sent the text and asked if they would honor my appointment.
* They responded they had already filled my appointment and sent links showing payment is due by 5 p.m. the prior day and that they did not force me to sign the T&C. "If we are not a good fit for you due to our policies, please take are (sic) sincerest recommendations to check out loving touch grooming..."
* I said they are not a good fit if this is how they treat first-time customers and they said "I'm unsure why you state we handled this poorly on our end but we do wish you all the best. Give (your dog) some scratches for us."
So, I will let you decide if you would like to do business with them. None of their text reminders were clear about payment 24 hours before the appointment. I was astonished at the way they handled a prospective first-time customer with no acknowledgement that it was unclear that payment had to be made by 5 p.m. and I was on the road. For me, it was a complete waste of time and energy. I am only taking this time to write the review to hopefully prevent others from having the same issues. read more
