Dolly has high anxiety and a territorial nature, she's not easy to work with! She has nipped at people on occasion and she often growls. But Kathy is so gentle and friendly to Dolly that Dolly doesn't react to her and feels comfortable with her. It takes a very long time for Kathy to groom her, probably 4-5 hours, but the quality in her work shows when we pick Dolly up and we know she has to take her time since Dolly can be difficult. We had a terrible experience at Pet Supplies plus in Springfield township. Dolly did not trust the groomers there and she was always terrified of going in. I'm certain they did something to her because of her reaction to them every time we went back. But we don't get this reaction from her at clipper cottage. I definitely trust my dogs reactions and instincts and I know she loves Kathy! I've recommended this place to several people since we've started going here and nobody is ever disappointed!

We have had two poodle mixes, one a senior dog named Ruffie who passed a little over a year ago, and the other a schnoodle named Jarvis. You can always tell a good groomer by the reaction of your dogs to arriving, especially our late senior dog, who would shake and whine even passing some prior groomers shops on the road. But both dogs couldn't wait to see Katie. Even in the final days of our precious Ruffie's time with us, when I'm sure his difficulty standing and sensitivity from his cancer made him difficult to groom, he came home looking wonderful as always and had an extra spring in his step. It was one of his last "good" days, and I'll forever be grateful for the care she showed him. It's tough to find a good groomer, and even tougher to find one with whom your pets are comfortable and enjoy the experience. Her pricing is in line with other groomers in the area, and she has always been flexible with us on appointments, even when my wife's unpredictable health or my crazy work schedule make things more difficult. I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else.

Then she approaches me, initiates conversation with "Your Late! you know we have a late fee" in a confrontational tone. I asked how much was the fee & she doesn't answer my question but responds with "if I don't like it I should go somewhere else". Based on her passive aggressive behavior, I feared she would take it out on my dog. I eagerly took her invitation & walked out! Clearly this young lady has some serious issues & I will pray for her, allow I will not allow my precious pup to be victim to her irrational behavior & I suggest you think long & hard as to if you want to subject your dog as well. Her name is Kiara (yelp will not allow me to post her last name). If your dog acts reluctant to enter a grooming facility they have visited previously - ask yourself why?

They give you updates throughout your dogs stay, spend lots of quality time with the dogs, and my dog always comes home tired from all the fun he has had. At the end of the stay, you get a "report card" letting you know how everything went. They also are extremely friendly and do everything to make you comfortable about leaving your fur baby. I can't recommend them enough.

I read some other lady's review of a dirty carrier ad I bet it was because someone put their pet inside to test it out and the animal shredded. NOT the employee fault. I'm sure thry weren't intentionally selling a dirty carrier and wouldn't have known unless brought to their attention. I have always found the staff very helpful whenever I need assistance. I'm there frequently for my pets and guiding new pet parents I consult, I have a reference from experience. I also order many bags of dog food regularly for my dog crew and it's always free and sealed in waterproof bags to protect it from the elements. Can't go wrong with this service, especially when ordering a couple hundred pounds of pet food. I'll keep shopping there for foreseeable future.

One of the staff stood by the gate talking to another man holding his dog having a conversation. the man says "you know i don't have the records but you know we good" the staff takes his dog to the back and comes to assist me, I inform her that i forgot the papers and ask could she find them in the system. she finds them but says they didn't have any expiration date? i then questioned her about the man not having his records she says stutters and says "ummm" "he has a separate account" (makes no sense at all!). If you guys are going to enforce a rule, make sure it applies to all customers.
