I have guinea pigs and am very happy that they carry the OxBow brands of bedding, pellets and hay. I use nothing else for my wee wheekers. Not too terribly long ago, OxBow came out with a different feed for adult guinea pigs. I asked Anna, the store manager, if it could please be ordered for me, which it was. This is not an item that is normally carried on the shelves, as it seems as I'm the only one who uses it! Nevertheless, all I need do is call the week prior and it arrives on the delivery truck the following week. Anna even goes so far as to order a back-up bag for me when I need it. I did not ask her to do this, but I am grateful that she does! Recently, I had an injury to my left leg and am in a walking boot. This makes getting in and out of my vehicle VERY difficult, and even more painful! This morning I called and asked if I paid for some items ahead of time, would they be able to bring the items to my vehicle upon my arrival. I was told that they could not do credit cards over the phone, however, the young lady I spoke with asked what I needed and would put the items aside for me. All I needed to do was to call them when I was outside, and they would come out and then process my credit card. True to their word, I pulled up to the store this afternoon, called them and Amy, another woman whom I have become friendly with, brought my items (two bags of bedding and one bag of hay) and gladly loaded them into the back of my Jeep. Another young lady, most likely the one I spoke with this morning, came out, told me what my total was and went back inside to process the credit card purchase. Fantastic prices aside, THIS is why I choose Roger's each and every time over the big pet box stores. They are extremely knowledgeable and always willing to help. They know their products! Sometimes, but very rarely, I do need to visit the big box stores (usually PetSmart) to find an item that only they carry. Okay, no big deal. I cannot say enough good things about Roger's and their staff! I'm hoping like crazy that they will be around for a very long time to come! I'd be so lost without them!

I've had 6 dogs in the last 33+ years and Here Boy has groomed all 6 beautifully! i recently adopted a rescue [American Eskimo/Samoyed mix] who could seem aggressive to others. Here Boy took him and groomed him without hesitation, so I'm not sure why some people gave such negative reviews. I wouldn't go anywhere else! The establishment is NOT dirty, the owner Nancy is phenomenal, and the groomers are all very friendly. I've seen a lot of disturbing videos lately of dogs being mistreated by other establishments/groomers and I have NEVER EVER had to worry about my babies being mistreated by anyone there. I love Nancy and her team and they LOVE dogs! 33+ years of being a loyal client and being treated as such, speaks volumes! It's entirely customized to her each time, taking all of our requests and concerns into consideration. In fact, we have been taking all three of our dogs to Jenny for many years and have been satisfied every time. How great it is not to have to rely on a chain and to know there's a high-quality, reasonably priced groomer around the corner. She had her ready quickly too, basically in and out which is appreciated so our pup doesn't have to wait. The staff when making appointments is super personable. I held off on writing this review because I tried to resolve this privately and amicably, but…read moreunfortunately I feel other pet owners should know about my experience with Doggy Styles by Jenny. We have been customers for years and had some minor grooming incidents in the past(2 cuts), which I overlooked because my dog is elderly. Unfortunately, this most recent experience was much more serious. Two days after grooming, I discovered a cut and missing fur under my dog's armpit. Later that week, after removing the bandana placed around her neck after grooming, I discovered another cut there as well. I contacted the owner, Jennifer, who reviewed the salon footage and said she didn't see my dog react to the cuts which is possible with some dogs, she felt very sorry and apologetic for the incident. She initially offered to cover my veterinary bill, which I appreciated. My dog ultimately required treatment costing $330 and had to wear a cone for over three weeks because the wounds were not healing properly. After I submitted the vet bill, Jennifer later said she was not responsible and offered $156 as a gesture of care. She then did not follow through with that offer either. I was also told she had spoken with my veterinarian, which I confirmed was not true. I understand that a veterinarian cannot definitively determine exactly what caused a wound after the fact. However, the vet specifically noted that irritation from grooming clippers was a possibility consistent with the timeline, which was noted in her doctor notes. At this point, this is not about the money. It is about accountability and how the situation was handled. After years of being a customer, I am extremely disappointed and heartbroken that my elderly dog was injured and that the business ultimately chose not to take responsibility. I'm sharing this so other pet owners can make an informed decision about where they trust their pets to be groomed.
