This local family-owned restaurant was a hit with our entire group of four. I ordered the Super Bowl Scramble, and wow, was it delicious. It was loaded with ham, sausage, eggs, potatoes seasoned with rosemary (which I absolutely love), and plenty of melted cheese. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying. My friend ordered the Power Omelette, her husband had the Famous French Toast, and my husband chose the Ashford Special. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals and was impressed with both the quality and the generous portions. I also had a fresh-squeezed orange juice, and it was absolutely delicious--fresh, sweet, and the perfect complement to breakfast. The portions are large, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We left full, happy, and glad we stopped in. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great breakfast!

Lots of seating and I think they have a to go section on the left when you enter. Great spot to add to your list if you're visiting San Juan.

We ordered the bacalaitos (codfish fritters) as an appetizer and the mofongo with shrimp (and another with pernil). The bacalaitos were perfectly fried, not greasy. It was probably the best tres leches I've ever had. We'll definitely return next time we're in San Juan.

You get the real deal, real Puerto Rican dishes, with the greatest flavors and fair prices. Unless you prefer playing overpriced, find dining restaurants with average Puerto Rican food, which there are plenty of in the area. I'm not able to emphasize how small this restaurant is, it's located right along the main walking strip in Coronado Beach. Maybe 10 tables or so. No reservations walk up wait in line if you have to eat and leave. Not only will you eat the best tasting food during your trip, but probably also pay the least amount of money. We went here twice! Their rice and beans recipe is probably what it's all about! We got grilled shrimp and skirt steak over rice and beans and honestly, I could've had it all week long! This little gem local place is not to be missed! Highly recommended!

We waved as we walked in to a waiter, pointed to a seemingly available picnic table, and he waved that we were good to go, so we sat right away, at 7:45p...after that more tables opened up. Drinks: 1. Pina colada - no bueno...like a coconut ice, not pina colada. 2. Passion fruit juice with fresh mint - delicious! 3. Cherry juice drink with alcohol - wife liked it, and I thought it was good. Appetizers: 1. Beef empanadas- I thought the crust overpowered the meat and onion, but daughter and wife loved it. 2. Nachos - terrible. Chips were stale and cheese/beans covering was bare, but then they gave us additional refried beans in a little cup, and straight I thought the refried beans were delicious. 3. Baha fish tacos - phenomenal!!! Entrees: 1 Chicken fajitas: disappointing. The spicing was off, on the chicken, and the guacamole was mostly sour cream. 2. Steak fajitas: very good and way better than the chicken Service was quick and the staff knew their stuff, but it took a long time to get the bill because other tables came in.

The staff member who took my order was very friendly and offered some helpful suggestions. After ordering, I waited outside for about 15 minutes for my food. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with how the order was packaged. The two coffees were placed in a paper bag, while the orange juices were in a separate plastic bag. This made it difficult to carry everything back to the hotel. As it turned out, the coffees spilled along the way and the paper bag broke, so we ended up with no coffee to enjoy with our breakfast. I also wasn't impressed with the orange juice. It was described as freshly squeezed, but to me, it tasted more like very sweet, watered-down juice. Where they did well was with the Pinky breakfast. We ordered two, but honestly, one would have been enough for the two of us. I really enjoyed the sandwich. Overall, the food was decent and the staff was friendly, but the packaging and orange juice were disappointing. While I enjoyed the sandwich, we didn't feel the need to go back again.
