It would be Saturday- between est 10-2pm - box spring was delivered at almost 7:00 pm Sat night. Then asking for an additional $40.00 on top of the delivery charge to bring it in the apartment. I paid for white glove service and noticed within a few hours that the nightstand had a hole in the back and the bottom drawer would collapse and make a clicking noise every time I open it. I contacted customer service. Ordered a replacement for the following Friday. I requested an evening delivery time due to my 24/7 building restrictions and that no one will be home to sign during the day. Found out a day before that it was being delivered in the morning. Customer service canceled and reschedule following Tuesday. I spoke to multiple representatives in between who confirmed that they had left multiple clear and distinct notes for the delivery team that it has to be delivered in the evening. Was found out the day before the second delivery that it was coming again in the afternoon. Rescheduled for a third time where I was guaranteed by two representatives, with text message proof that it was coming that following Friday after 4:30 PM. I then received a text message after speaking to the six representative that it was coming in the afternoon. I finally got a hold of an in-store manager after calling Customer service a few times. He changed the delivery for Saturday. As I'm writing this review, I am continuing to get emails that it is coming Friday, today, let me remind you No one will be home and there are building restrictions, however, I was told in store that it is actually coming Saturday, but I did not get any proof or email confirming that. This has been the worst customer service experience, especially as a first time buyer. I requested a full refund of the nightstand, which has not been accommodated for, I've asked for a full refund of my white glove service, which I only got a partial refund for. it has been almost 2 weeks and I still have not got my replacement and the lack of service between representatives is unacceptable. Come to find out that actually zero notes left for the delivery team, which means customer service did whatever they could do to get off the phone with me. Absolutely unacceptable. never be buying from Bob's again or recommending it.

    Gabe's is basically a cooperate run rummage sale. They buy…read moretruckloads of close-out merchandise (some of which is quite nice!, much of which is garbage) and they hang it on their racks and move on. Their business model is low margins on high volumes. Gabe's attracts about 50% normal customers and about 50% lowest of the low ghetto rats and White trash. They look at an article of clothing and then just throw it down, either on top of the racks without bothering to re-hang it properly or actually down on the floor. On a Saturday you will see DOZENS IF NOT HUNDREDS OF PIECES OF MERCHANDISE JUST THROWN ON THE FLOOR!!! Creating a scene that seems unbelievable that this is a corporate-run retail business! The worst of the customers let their children run wild in the store playing with merchandise, BREAKING MERCHANDISE, and generally acting as though a trip to the store is their substitute for not being able to afford Disney World or Chuckie Cheese. The children and the parents both act as though they have had no decent upbringing or learned social skills. And YES, this does pertain to a review about Gabe's because this is the atmosphere of the store if you decide to shop there. Much of the chaos stems from poor management. The will even sell BROKEN OR OTHERWISE DAMAGED MERCHANDISE just to get SOMETHING, ANYTHING out of it!!!...and this may or MAY NOT be clearly labeled as damaged. Like the old saying goes, the fish always rots from the head down. The employees are over-worked and stressed-out to the point of not caring. Let's just say that I have some insider knowledge of all this. Gabe's is a bottom-of-the-barrel retail operation. Yes, occasionally you may find a good bargain, but know what to expect inside their store.
