The employees are the greatest. They have name brand merchandise. Great brands but priced low.

I will not shop at this store again. I observed the manager and employees follow a couple (POC) around the store while they were shopping, I was shocked because they were not following anyone else around. This place is like big lots had a yard sale. Things are dirty, broken and disorganized. I don't understand how this anxiety inducing mess can be fun. Apparently, you can find real bargains if something has been on the shelf for months. However, I have noticed signage/prices with dates that have been pulled off or covered over. The clothes are stained and/or ripped. Most of the housewares had new dates on them. Don't get me wrong, these are big lots prices, but finding that gem among the garbage is few and far between. I had never been to Bargain Hunt, but I ended up going to two different locations with my cousin and sister-in-law, because they both love it. And I've seen some of the items they've found at Bargain Hunt, and it's been good stuff, that they got for really cheap. That said, I couldn't find anything I needed here, but they did have lots of nice items. Both locations I visited were very similar, and my reviews for them will be as well. They were both semi-organized, think outdoor items, bedding, home decor, etc. But, the store kind of has a "yard sale" feel, in that you have to dig around to find any gems. Overall I think Bargain Hunt is a fine spot to stop in and check out if you don't mind the digging. You never know what you could find! read more

This place is one of my weekly stops. Yes it's chaotic and random but that's what I live about it. I enjoy the "Hunt"! You really never know what you will find here. You have to be willing to dig through the shelves and sometimes bins/piles but you an get some really great deals. Be sure to pick up the Discount Schedule at the front of the store and check the items' date to see if it's reduced even more. I have purchased items for as much as 90% off the marked price although it's not often you get that lucky. I often try to wait out items to get a better discount. I have been successful at times but I have also missed out on items this way so it's a gamble. Disclaimer: Be sure you open and check the items in the store. I have purchased quite a few things that turned out to be broken or missing pieces. They have a 30-day return policy so you can return items but it can be frustrating. read more

I was told about this store from a coworker and decided to check it out on my day off. I also had to fill some stocking stuffers. We arrived at the store walked in and grabbed a buggy. The store reminds me of a Big Lots and Burlington combined. It has the cheaper prices of Big Lots and the clothing selection of Burlington. Now if you have ever been to Plato's closet then that would give you some idea of how the clothing is sorted through the store. I didn't browse much in clothing but what I did see, the clothing was new and not used. They have various brands from Lucky Brand to Izod. They have an electronics section. Its small but there are televisions, wall mounts, keyboards, calculators, DVD's, speakers and much more in the mix. Oh, almost forgot, they also have tablets. Walking on, theres a section for camping gear and a small section with exercise equipment. Keep walking and you will hit a toddler and female section. There's a small area with toys and coming around there are comforter sets for a bedroom. This is a great store for picking up some last minute items and they also have some useful items for the kitchen such as blenders, mixers, microwaves and vacuum cleaners. I could go on and on but you should really check it out. The staff was very nice and even will joke with you. It was a great trip and well worth it. read more

I love this store because it is a bargain hunt! Yes often the stock and inventory is in disarray but if you have the patience their are some real treasures here. I bought some expensive hiking shoes here that I saved $44.00 from the retail, so $25.00 was a steal for this quality of shoe! I also picked up a sweet pair of reboks for $20.00. They had a good stock of Halloween costumes and a good variety for everyone in the family even your pooch! There are quality brand shirts, pants, and jackets! They even had kayaks in there at a phenomenal price if you are an adventurer! The additional yellow tag on an item gives you an extra 25% off. I also would suspect this is a matter of luck and timing to find great items closer to the stock being received and put on the floor for the customers to find. I love this place and need to stop and shop frequently so I am the one getting the best selection. Give it a try but remember that patients and deep diving may be required! read more

I went to Bargain Hunt to pick up a couple items. First I found a great deal on an 8 pound and a 10 pound sledge hammer. Total on both items was $12. Then I wanted to pick up some pool supplies for my grand children to come over to our pool and play with late in the spring. The pool items were not as much of a bargain as the hammers. In fact the pool items are cheaper if I go to Wal-Mart. I give three stars because the bargains are hit or miss. read more

I have found lots of good dealsAt bargain hunt you have to hunt for the things that you want. Yes I have went to the store for particular things I was looking for like fitted queen sheets after about an hour I found what I was looking for and that's what you got to do you got to HUNT for it. After I found my sheets I went browsing around the store and found a pelican case a very expensive case I was able to take it home for $15! Regularly almost $200, I have found everything from peanuts to car parts some of the deals are necessarily that good and a lot of the stuff might have missing parts or they have been store returns yeah you take a chance and the store is definitely in disarray but it's a fun place to dig through just remember wire beware! read more

This place lives up to its name, but if you're like us, that's a good thing. This a fun place to hunt around for a bargain. We don't always end up buying, but we've found a few good deals on home goods or toys. Check things over for damage before making your purchase. We've not had an issue, but I've definitely seen things on the shelves that looked like they'd been around the world and back. If you've got some time, hunt around and see what you find. read more

This place is awesome. From prom dresses to generators, bedding to armaments and survivalist stuff to keep your fella entertained. My first time there, I saw a LOT of discounted Target merchandise, end and coffee tables, pillows, bed toppers, shoes for the whole family. My visit on 8/28 Halloween stuff was featured pretty prominently, and clearly their Target stock was pretty much depleted.. I saw xs to 2x Tall Halloween costumes for adults, lots of choices for kids. read more

I'm honestly surprised I haven't written a review of this place ages ago! This is one of my favorite places to shop. It is certainly not the place to go if you have something particular in mind that you want but you can find some awesome bargains. I've found tons of clothes that are extras from Target, quality bedding, and various other items. They have recently changed from a percentage off system (for example: if an item had been there for a certain number of weeks, you would get some percentage off the marked price). I am curious to see if this will impact the deals. Bottom line: it's not glamorous but it's a lot of fun if you like a deal! read more

It's changed from a percent off as the item ages to a Big Lots wanna be. I used to enjoy the savings but haven't found any "bargains" since they changed their new way of "saving" me money. A customer was in with just a dog sitting in the cart. I asked a store employee what their policy was and they replied "I don't know they rules but people bring them in from time to time". Its not a pet store, so as someone who is highly allergic to dogs I find it very disappointing that they allow them in. I obviously cannot shop here anymore. read more

This store is often disheveled, which makes it feel chaotic. Not what I'm looking for in a shopping experience, especially since I almost always have my 2 young children with me. Coming here is never a quick and efficient stop. HOWEVER, you can find some good bargains if you're willing to hunt for them (get it?). It is not unusual for their products to be damaged, and their return policy is very limited, so I would suggest carefully inspecting anything that you plan to buy. I also tend to pull up reviews of items that I find on my phone to make sure there aren't any red flags. If you have some extra time and enjoy the challenge of shopping in a place like this, it may be worth checking out. If you do go, do yourself a favor and add in some time for a treat at Bluegrass Baking Company and/or North Lime while there. Both are in the same shopping center and NEVER disappoint. read more

When bargain hunt first opened it was a good bargain. But it went down hill for me personally. Now u come u can't find anything because what they have is all a lie things overpriced or $10 cheaper. Every time I find something I think is a good bargain I first google around check other stores. U would be shocked to find out that u can buy the same thing couple dollars more is it really worth going there for a couple dollars and things that are cheaper at regular stores then bargain hunt if that store even should be called that. And I noticed stickers being ripped of and re attaching new ones like what's all that about. Did u really think people won't notice. That's all a lie. I think this store thinks to high of them self. And sooner or later this store will just close. read more
