There are toys, rugs, housewares, automotive items and more. And some of their snack food items are cheaper than the dollar store. The checkout lines have gotten out of hand in the past, so I've found the evening is the best time to shop there. If you're a bargain hunter it's definitely worth a look.

We ended up finding a few items and, of course, I had to grab some of their reusable shopping bags. I always love their bag designs and they come in handy for so many things. The store was clean, organized, and easy to shop. One of the things I love most about Marshalls is that you never know what you'll find. Whether you're looking for home décor, clothing, accessories, beauty products, or seasonal items, there are always hidden gems waiting to be discovered. But there is literally no rhyme or reason to what they will take from a consigner. Their racks are filled with old dingy clothing and yet you take something that's nicer than just about anything on the shelves and they tell you it's outdated/not current. They tell you they don't take certain brands, yet you see those brands hanging on the racks. Literally. It's been happening for years, but then there'll be a spell where it won't...so I kept going back periodically. Pretty done. Zero consistency. Unfriendly employees. Shop elsewhere.

This store would be a good place to find a hidden gem or to sell something that is nice but no longer fits your space or style. I did notice they carry the Umbro clothing line, which is a line I used to wear back as a kid, I love it! Customer service was very friendly and helpful. I love that there is always enough cashiers at the registers, so no long line waits. Only thing that I am missing with this Target is there is not a cafe and that iconic popcorn smell! I can live with that because they still have the dollar section right at the front that always ends up getting me in trouble ;).

With the value pricing, good organization and orderliness of the store, clean wide aisles, and bright lighting, we both thought, "this place is going to give Marshall's a run for its money." Turns out, they are sister stores in the same holding company. Home Sense seemed like an upgraded Marshall's focused on home, leaving out the clothes, shoes, and sometimes sporting equipment of Marshall's. Instead, more emphasis on home decor and decorating, still retaining the cookware and gourmet (ish) foods. Staff was ample through the store and helpful. Bottom line, the prices and selection were fantastic for this decor store.
