I went in to buy Cycling Frog THC beverages--specifically one 5mg and one 10mg. The cashier made a "mistake" and rang me up for two of the more expensive 10mg cans instead.I caught it out at my car and walked right back inside to get it fixed. What I'm assuming is the owner or manager looked me in the eye, lied straight to my face, and claimed they are both the same price so he wouldn't have to give me a refund.I trusted him, went home, and called the shop back later to double-check--only to be told over the phone that they are different prices. I get that peoplemake mistakes but this was a blatant lie after the mistake was made. Watch your money if you shop here!

We also usually get our water and gatorades from here as well. They always have the new trendy drinks that I want to try, which is awesome! I wasn't disappointed when I got here to look for them and even saw three different types that I didn't even knew existed! They also have a nice selection of craft and seasonal beers in the aisle next to the refrigerators that you should definitely check out if you're looking for something other than your typical bud light/coors light. Staff is super friendly and helpful and they always offer to help me carry my drinks out to the car if I get a couple of boxes. Great place to have in the area!

Excellent assortment of beers + terrific service + great hours = Country Wide Beverage…read more Soon after moving into the area, I found the need to stock my fridge with an assortment of beers, both for myself and for guests who might come and visit. A quick trip down Merrick Road took me to Country Wide Beverage in Valley Stream. Noticing the size of the place, I decided to journey in. Although the parking lot can only accommodate up to 4 cars (or perhaps 12 bikes), it's well worth the effort to come here. First of all, hours here are terrific! On weekdays, they're open as late as 9pm (and open as early as 8:30am). Compared to other beverage barns in the area, that's not bad at all! Second of all, the service is great! Especially with nobody in the store, the owner came over and asked if I needed any help finding what I needed. In mentioning I wanted to try a good stout, he showed me a few options and asked what my preferences would be for stouts. After showing me a few choices, he ended up taking me over to a part of the store that served Ommegang. Knowing a few friends, including Josh G., who visited this brewery in Cooperstown and has great things to say, I decided to give it a shot (and was very impressed that they offered that brand). The staff is very friendly, personable and upbeat. They're great! Finally, the beer selection here is immense! Looking for a good national staple (Bud, Corona, Guinness, Stella, Heineken)? They've got you covered. Want something closer to home like Brooklyn Brewery or Ommegang? No problem. Looking for a good German beer? They've got Dunkel and more! How about a nice ale from the U.K.? You can find Wells (including Banana Bread ale, one of my favorites) and more. I'm really just scratching the surface here. The options are immense! Prices here are not all that shabby either, very similar to what you might find at other beverage barns. Between the service, hours and beer selection here, there's no reason to pass up this venue. You certainly must visit given the opportunity!

Upon arriving, I was greeted by a young couple. I got what I needed and left. The store has 3 aisles and large tubs of drinks that are on sale towards the front of the store. The second time I came here, the customer service was much better. The guy who was sitting at the cash register greeted my friend and I and asked us where we got our Krispy Kreme donuts. Proud that I had survived a long, grueling trip from Manhattan without squishing my donuts, I told him that he'd have to get them all the way from the city! I really do enjoy being a point of information for food, haha. He asked us what kind of drinks we like and shared that he doesn't really drink, but still tried to recommend stuff to us. The prices here are pretty decent compared to prices we are charged up at college. I like that there is parking out front and that there is a stamp card. For every $20 you purchase, you get one stamp. Once you get 10 stamps you can use the card! This place has a huge variety of things ranging from sparkling wine to soju to lemonade flavored vodka. There are also cute wine corks on the counter and canned wine that looks like soda so you can drink on the beach!
