This was our 2nd year using BarFly for our Halloween party and it won't be our last. Shannon is very well organized. They set up early in the day so nothing was rushed. Extra touches - like decor at the bar - were awesome. Ryan staffed our bar and we couldn't have been more pleased! He even created 2 specialty cocktails for us - one with fresh rosemary from his own garden. He took extra special care of all of our guests - but especially me and my husband who were hosting and sometimes didn't have a chance to make it over to the bar. He came to us. We will only use BarFly from here on out. read more

We hired BarFly for our April wedding at the Carlsbad Flower Fields and had a great experience! Shannon is knowledgeable and patient. She worked with us on creating the menu that we LOVED. Her handcrafted margarita was also the best margarita we have tasted. On the day of, she had the foresight of bringing plastic shot glasses though we didn't request them, because she knew impromptu shots happen at weddings lol. She was also very thoughtful. She dropped by the sweetheart table during the event to see if we wanted anything else, since she knew we were tied up with all the programming. Our experience working with BarFly was seamelss and easy. We highly recommend this company to others! read more

OMG, where do we start?? Shannon was incredible, and made our day the best day ever! We had a brunch time wedding, with bloody marys and mimosas. I thought it would be a quick easy, here's some OJ and bloody mary mix. Oh no. Shannon setup the most BEAUTIFUL display of nectars and juices, and bloody mary fixin's galore! So many guests complimented the setup, and how fabulous our bartenders were. Shannon brought help for our large wedding (Ryan,) and he was also fabulous! None of my guests waited for drinks, and they had a blast with our fun loving bartenders! Not only was our day amazing, but leading up to the day, Shannon was my BFF! LOL She was always there to answer any questions I had, helped us with how much alcohol to buy, and even picked it up from BevMo for us! JUST THE BEST! I legitimately want to have a party, just so Shannon can be there again! Thank you Barfly, Shannon, and Ryan for making our boozy dreams come true! read more

I found Bar Fly Beverage solution on my wedding venue's preferred vendor list and I am so glad we went with them! Shannon was so great to work with. She schedules a call with you to get an idea of what you would like to do in terms of the bar - from the style, glassware, what drinks to offer, etc. We only did beer and wine for alcohol options for our wedding, but I want to also offer fun mocktails for the guests. She came up with a couple of options that our guest highly enjoyed. Her set up looked really good on the day of and everything that day went as planned. I would highly recommend working with Bar Fly Beverage Solution if you ever needed a bar set and an awesome bar tender! read more

Shannon was AMAZING. We looked around at multiple vendors and decided to go with her because she was so responsive to all my questions, provided recommendations to make my daughter's engagement party successful, and offered a very good rate for the number of hours we needed her. She arrived early, set up, and was ready to go in no time. Everyone at the party was impressed by Shannon and loved the specialty cocktails she created for our party. She even went out of her way to find out what drink our grandfather wanted and walked it over to him. We would definitely hire her again for our next party. read more

Shannon and her team were our bartenders at our wedding and I can't say enough nice things about these guys. My husband and I met Shannon at our venue a few times and she was incredibly helpful every time. Leo Carrillo Ranch (in Carlsbad) was the location we got married at and it's not a normal wedding venue, it just happens to be a place you can get married at after it closes to the public. So we had to determine where we wanted the second bar set up on our own and Shannon helped us figure out the best area to do that so it would be convenient for our guests and how much alcohol we should have for two bars with the amount of guests we had. Shannon was awesome to work with, all we had to do was have Bevmo deliver the booze and she took care of the rest (cups, ice, mixers, etc) and she didn't break our budget like the other bartending companies we contacted for quotes. Shannon was professional, friendly and all around truly amazing to work with. I highly recommend Bar Fly Beverage Solutions! read more

Shannon and the Barfly Beverage Solutions service did a Great job at our Oceanside Chamber of Commerce event last week. Great turn out at the event and very busy bar as people were thirsty! Shannon did a great job at showing up on time, handling the service with a smile, creating new relationships, chatting and especially making everyone smile, then doing a great job in cleaning up in the end. I was pleased because of the many events I have attended with okay to decent service from other caterers and saw her Great service come through and was very pleased! Also learned that Barfly Beverage Solutions covers all of San Diego County and more with main emphasis on North County area where our event was held, so I will be following up them very soon since Barfly Beverage Solutions has a great array of drinks, along with being very hospitable and in the end, I highly recommend Shannon and her team for any type of catering events for business to personal parties, or catering events, lunches, dinners and more! Great name, great service, great pricing, highly dependable and highly recommendable! Thanks Barfly Beverage Solutions! And we'll be contacting you soon for our next event! read more

My husband and I hired Shannon and her team to bar-tend our wedding at The Flower Fields in Carlsbad, CA on March 26, 2016. I really cannot say enough positive things about her. She was so accommodating, helpful, and just generally all-around wonderful to work with. As we are currently living in NYC, we were able to purchase our booze online from BevMo & she picked it up for us to bring to the venue. She worked with me on creating a couple of specialty pre-mixed cocktails, which both were a HUGE hit. So many of our guests paid her lovely compliments the next day at our beach picnic. We had 150 people at our wedding and, let me tell you, all had a great time. Thanks Shannon & Barfly!!! read more

My wedding was Sept. 12th and Shannon was by far our favorite vendor! Leading up to the wedding, Shannon was very responsive and was the only vendor to set up a walk through with us. She was even kind enough the night before to make signage for all the beverages we would be serving. During the wedding, Shannon and her assistant knocked it out of the park! They were funny and friendly, and truly made our wedding better. Shannon always made sure I had a fresh drink in my hand which I was very thankful for as it was so hot on our wedding day. At the end of the night my husband and I made a point to say farewell to Shannon because of how grateful we were to her that day! Then, the following day when we were opening gifts we were surprised and taken to find a special something from BarFly which was just the cherry on top on superb service provided. While I am not planning on throwing another big bash anytime soon, when I do I will definitely be turning to BarFly for my beverage needs! read more

Shannon was AMAZING for my backyard wedding! Even with my crazy guests she stayed cool calm and made sure everyone had a great time! She was so helpful in letting me know how much alcohol to buy and even made the yummiest margaritas. Thank you Shannon for making the day so easy for me, couldn't have asked for anything better! Hire her!! read more

I knew after seeing all 5 star reviews that I had NOTHING to worry about when booking Shannon/ BarFly for our company event. She was excellent! Communicating with her was easy, she was personable and friendly to all of the guests, and she kept the bar line minimum to none at all times! We loved having her and will book her again in a heartbeat for future events! read more

We got married October 10th at my childhood home in Escondido, and Shannon just absolutely killed it. She was amazing to work with beforehand, checking in on us and offering all kinds of help and advice, doing a walkthrough a few months beforehand, offering to pick up our BevMo order and store it so that the beer would show up cold, and she and Jose were an absolute delight at the party. Everyone had a good time, and it seemed like the two of them were everywhere while still covering the bar perfectly. By the time my husband and I made it back to the house the next day, I already had an email letting me know where the extra booze was, and a very thoughtful gift (which was delicious, fyi). Of all of our vendors, BarFly was by far the most responsive and easiest to work with, and I am SO glad we found Shannon. We planned our wedding from NYC, and having a vendor who had our back was such a huge relief in this madness we call cross-country wedding planning. Honestly, we'd get married again if it meant having her there! read more

If you are in the San Diego area and you need a bartender, do yourself a favor and hire BarFly!! We got married May 7, 2016 and hired Shannon to bartend. I cannot speak highly enough about the service we received. Shannon went above and beyond her bartending duties and we were absolutely thrilled. At our initial meeting we felt such a connection to Shannon because she is so fun and personable ... plus she knows her stuff. After the wedding when we were opening gifts we were completely surprised to find a card from Shannon. What a thoughtful gesture! Can't wait to host another get together and hire Shannon again! read more

We love Shannon!! She was the solo bartender at our wedding a few weeks ago and served our 85 guests with ease! Shannon kept in touch with me throughout our months of planning and answered every single question that we had with no delay. She helped us with our beverage selections and advised how much to purchase as we were buying all of our own alcohol and DIYing most of our wedding. I had no idea initially that she was able to help with all of our ice, mixers, garnish and all the bar supplies so when she offered to do that, a HUGE load was taken off of my shoulders and I was super happy I didn't have to stress about those details. Our guests were never thirsty and Shannon was a delight to see behind our bar all evening. What a pleasure it was, I feel super grateful to have found such and amazing bartender, we wouldn't have wanted anyone else!!! Thank you Shannon! read more

My husband and I just got married on September 5, 2015 and Shannon with BarFly was our bartender. Amazing does not even begin to describe thef job she did! From the very first day she was so welcoming and comforting, she made sure to let us know she was going to do everything she could to make our day special on her end! She kept in contact throughout our whole preparation process, always answering our calls and getting back to us with any questions or concerns we had. She kept us calm and gave us a knowledgeable and experienced perspective on so many different things that just relaxed our nervous minds. Shannon also checked out our location before the wedding and again helped with everything she could then kept in constant communication, even if it was just to see how we were doing. My wedding was everything that I could have ever imagined and Shannon was definitely one of the main highlights of the night that everyone kept talking about the week to follow. Her and her bar hand not only made delicious drinks, but they kept all guests happy with their friendliness and lively personalities! When I finally got my drink at the end of the night I knew why the bar was constantly full, delicious! Thank you Shannon and BarFly for making my wedding special and for all the hard work and dedication! read more

I used Shannon with BarFly, she was on our vendors preferred list and she was amazing. She was very helpful and had everything that was needed for our wedding. Leading up to the wedding she checked in to make sure I didn't have any questions. I decide I didn't want the hassle of bring my own ice and mixes and Shannon was able to accommodate my changes in the 2 weeks prior to the wedding. Shannon and her bar back were on time and served our 65 guests with ease. The venue has a separate cocktail hour area and reception area and we never even saw them move a thing. They were well prepared. read more

Shannon was absolutely wonderful to work with. I hired her for my parents wedding reception and she helped me along the way from start to finish. I hired Shannon's crew for a "carn-evil" themed Halloween party last weekend. Shannon was extremely helpful when it came to determining the amount of alcohol that I would need (and she was spot on!) Shannon from BarFly did the bartending at our wedding and she was wonderful to work with from start to finish. She helped us figure out the quantities for our alcohol purchase and ended up being right on the money! Day of, she was a total pro, keeping everyone happy (while making sure some didn't get too happy...) and did so with a smile on her face the entire time. She showed up on time, set up quickly and the bar looked impeccable at all times. I heard from our coordinator that she was super easy and pleasant to work with, and our guests said she was great them. We will definitely think of her next time we need a bartender! read more

I just wanted to thank Shannon for helping me with a recommendation when I was trying to find a bartender last minute. Even though she wasn't available she helped me. Great customer service!!! read more

Shannon is absolutely amazing. I hired her to do my backyard wedding (full of degenerates and unexpected surprises) and she was perfect. She was clear about the cost of thing up front (which was way, way reasonable compared to the twelve other quotes I got), she talked me through how much alcohol to get, and she calmed me down when I freaked out (over and over). She even went out of her way to pick up a keg for us and did a run to the store when some genius (who may or may not be my husband now) decided that everyone needed to drink vodka-redbulls. She seemed to always be right next to me with a drink when I needed one and every guest at some point approached me to say how awesome she was. Seriously, do not think of hiring anyone else. read more

Shannon was the absolute best. She walked me through the process of having a bartender at our private event- everything from permits to menus to a big hug on the day of. She went above and beyond to make our event special and the best it could be...and her drinks were AWESOME. Shannon and her staff were amazing. They were hired to bartend my wedding in 2013 but after meeting with her a couple times and interacting with her she became more of a friend to us that we wanted at the wedding. She was lively and interactive with all our guests everyone loved her and had only great things to say. I have recommend her a few times since to other friends who have been getting married and are looking for a bartending staff. Shannon could not have been any better and truly was professional and the best choice for bartending services. read more

Shannon rocks! We planned our wedding remote from NYC and Shannon was fantastic. We got married Labor day weekend at Balboa Park and one of the big benefits of getting married there was we could buy our own booze and have our own bartender. The caterer was more than willing to do it but my fiancee is a little particular about what she wanted to serve so we went about finding a bartender. We found Shannon and BarFly on another site but she was very accommodating (we wanted different color fabric for the bar table and no signage/tip jar) and her pricing was right on! She even picked up the booze from BevMo so we had one less thing to worry about!! We were able to get the booze we wanted at the price we wanted (it was 2x better stuff than the catering company for atleast 30-40% less) AND she managed to keep my wife and I fully hydrated all night. On top of all that she helped us figure out how much booze to buy and we ended the night basically with nothing left - which means everyone was happy and we didn't way over spend either! Seriously great service, great pricing, you couldn't find a better bartender. Thanks Shannon! read more

I can't say enough good things about Shannon from BarFly. We had a house party with over 100 people today. Everyone was raving about her! She was so professional and amazing with the guests. Her drinks were perfect and she had an amazing work ethic. I would say our party was incredible mostly because of her. Since this was our first very large house party, I had a lot of questions beforehand. Shannon would answer my emails within seconds. She had great advice. We just loved her and appreciated everything she did to make today wonderful. read more

I was recommended Shannon by a coworker and I am SO happy I worked with her for my wedding! Wow. First off let me tell you we hired Shannon two years ago for my daughter's wedding. It is their anniversary and I realized I never wrote this review! But doesn't that say something in itself?!?! She made such a strong impression on me with her great customer service here I am two years later giving her a review! She showed up well in advance, dressed with a hint of red (as that was my daughter's main color), set up all her tables, organized the bar and organized the drinks. She was set and ready to go! This wedding was 120 people and she was pouring beer from taps and four different wines and was handling the crowd like a champ! I highly recommend her and she was so professional in helping me with all the paperwork I needed to provide the wedding venue as well as easing my stress by assuring me all would be fine on the big day in regards to amounts of beverages and how weddings unfold in regards to the bar. She was right of course and she did a remarkable job!! read more

Wow! My husband and I had Shannon as our bartender in Oceanside. From the very beginning she was very polite and professional. She would respond to emails right away. Hire this bartender service for your wedding! We did for our wedding on 8/6/16, and we could not be happier after working with Shannon. She is wonderful at communicating with you prior to the big day. Her prices were excellent! She is understanding and accommodating! She came to the venue to meet us and look around and ended up walking around with us for far too long (sorry again! haha). She didn't mind. She worked so hard at our wedding. We asked her to prepare some special drinks for the wedding party following the recessional and this was accomplished. We love Jamo and pickle juice and she brought us extra pickle juice! She is funny and yet professional. She packed up and cleaned quickly after our venue closed. To top it all off, she picked up my friend so that they could together take the kegs to his house. I mean... Just above and beyond. Shannon, thank you so much! And thank you for the thoughtful gift. It was so unexpected. We appreciate everything you did for us. read more

After my sister used Barfly for her wedding in 2015 and loved them, we went straight to Shannon to help us with our event on July 23rd. We were having a super casual pool party for about 70 people and just needed someone to keep a couple of drink stations full of wine, beer, and soda. Shannon gave us an amazing price, picked up our wine and beer from bevmo, got us all set up, and then Jose managed our party throughout the night. He went SO above and beyond - helping keep plates clear from the tables and even made sure the leftovers from the taco cart made it into the fridge before I had the chance to ask! They are impeccable, and I can't recommend them more. (Also, pay attention to how much booze Shannon advises you to get! we accidentally ended up with more than we meant to order, but her advice was spot on and we would have ended up with the perfect amount if we hadn't had an ordering snafu. Oh well - now we have wine for a while!) read more

Perfection! Shannon was the single bartender for our 120 guest wedding- and she rocked it! Super quick at making good drinks of all sorts, and still had enough time to talk/get to know our guests. We had guests ranging from my 4 year old niece to my husbands 95 year old grandmother, with lots of mid-late 20 yr/old drunks in the middle. She was able to handle everyone professionally and get the job done. Super happy we hired her and would it again in a heartbeat! read more
