This is in dispute the that fact that I had an oil change from a dealership just 30 days before and the problem wasn't identified. He verified this by showing me the brake pads. I had previously gone to Certified to have freon put in my air conditioner because the air was running warm. After the car sitting for 3 months due to illness, the Freon dissipated from the vehicle. Certified Car Care replaced the Freon at no additional charge and marked the vehicle so he could trouble shoot and identify the problems in the future. I highly recommend Certified Car Care they are great mechanics, act with integrity, the prices are affordable and fair.

Later, I was quoted $1,000 for the repair and told the diagnostic fee would go toward that amount. When I asked how much the fee was, the man at the desk said he didn't know. He then told me to take my keys and leave. A couple of months later, I paid another mechanic $50 to look at the window. He told me the part needed was about $70 and pointed out that part of the door had been put together with duct tape. I don't know who put the tape there, but it added to my concerns about the car's condition and the original quote. I understand the cost of a part doesn't include labor; I simply wanted a clear explanation of the charges. I felt dismissed for asking reasonable questions. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop.
