My opinion? Do not use Lacey's Barefoot Clean! I have only been using her for a couple of months and at first, I was just happy to have someone cleaning my house. I am disabled and not able to clean it myself. From the beginning, I told her that the 2nd most important thing to me was to have my things put back the way they found them. (The 1st being that my house was clean.) When they were here two weeks ago, they did a very mediocre job...and on top of that, there were some major issues. Instead of calling her and making them come back, I opted to just make a list to go over with her in person. None of the rugs had been put back down after the cleaning (bathrooms and laundry room) Corners were not cleaned on the bathroom floor. To which her response was, "we can't see that because we don't sit down on the toilet" She knows we have cats, and last week she locked one of them in a closet. We all left early the next morning and did not notice until that evening...she was in there for 24+ hours!! Her response was again to be very defensive, tried to blame it on a different girl, then said "unless I see her in there, how am I supposed to know not to close the door". My suggestion was to not close ANY doors...and her response was something like it couldn't be guaranteed that they wouldn't close some doors. My furniture had been rearranged in the family room, to which her response was "well she tried really hard to put everything back...you should have come and checked it before we left" All of my items on tables and fireplace had been put back in the wrong places (I don't even have that much stuff) This was the same every time and today when I pointed it out, her response was to be VERY defensive and she blamed it on "Dominique" said, "we are't perfect". My solution to the rearranging of my things was that I would put them where they belong and snap a couple of pictures of how I want things. I asked her if she would please check the photos when they are finished that make sure things are put back correctly. The first time I brought this up, she said no and that she "didn't have the time" to double check against the photos to make sure they put everything back the way they found it and the way I wanted it. Then, she proceeded to tell me that it was my fault because I didn't text her right away to tell her of all these problems...and that next time I needed to "text her right away" because she needs her customers to help "train her employees". My reply was that I was bringing up these issues TODAY with her (because she is the boss...the one ultimately responsible) so that she can address the problems. I was telling her how I would like my house cleaned...a service I was PAYING HER FOR...so that when they left it was done right and I wouldn't have to text her that there was a problem again! Again, I brought up the solution of having photos available so she can make sure that things were right before they left. Again, she said that that would "take too much time". (It would have been 4 dressers and 4 end tables) Her solution is that I would have to get up and follow them around to make sure it was done right before they left. WHAT??? That is how I treated my kids...double checking their chores...when they were little. This is NOT what I would expect from someone who proclaims to be a professional cleaning service. At this point, I said, "then I think we are done here" and she huffed and puffed out the door...without paying back the $2 she shorted me last time because she didn't have change. So, all in all, if you want a house cleaner who: Does a half-assed job Brings someone new every time who doesn't know what they are doing Goes through the motions of cleaning without making sure it is really clean Rearranges your furniture how THEY want it Rearranges all of your stuff how THEY think it should be, not how you want it Locks your pets in closets Unplugs things and doesn't plug them back in Claims they want your feedback, but gets rude and defensive when you tell them about issues Texts you at 7:27am on a Sunday morning. Wants to clean your house the way THEY want it cleaned not how you want it cleaned Messes up your curtains Is not open to any kind of criticism with out blaming you or one of her employees That you have to follow around and make sure that they clean properly and don't mess with your belongings Doesn't pay back money they shorted you Is not willing to adjust their cleaning routine to accommodate simple requests like not closing a pet in the closet or taking 5 mins to look at a picture to double check their work. Who is very loud and "in your face" defensive Who NEVER should be in a customer service position...let alone invited into your house THEN...this might be a good fit for you. read more

Absolutely the best cleaning specialists I have ever use! Lacey, the owner, goes above & beyond. The Barefoot Clean specialists are meticulously trained & I do not have any complaints. I called barefoot clean to use them for the first time. I left work and was home at 2:30. I was told they would be there at 2:30 . At 3:00 they had not shown up. I was in a meeting and they finally showed up but I was gone and in a business meeting. They couldnt get into the gate. They rescheduled with me. When I called them back at the end of my meeting I spoke with Lacey and Shay. I said to her that its not cool that they didn't follow another car into the gate. She then told me I was rude and she didnt want to do business with me. She then wasn't satified and sent me 8 rambling abusive and aggressive texts. Avoid these people. They are unstable and hostile. As a customer I feel it is my write to tell the person I am going to pay that I don't like the way something was handled. I never cursed nor did I ever raise my voice to this rude person. I simply told her that I didn't think it was cool that they didn't try hard enough to solve my problem. I only wish I could give a negative rating. read more
