We got married July 11th with barefoot beach bride. Everything was amazing ! Jodi did everything we wanted and more. She brought our beach wedding we dreamed of to life .Mechelle our photographer did a impeccable job , our pictures she captured were so breathtaking. Also , our wedding package we chose had dinner as well and it was delicious. we went in blind without test tasting food or cake etc . we got so many comments on our dinner and wedding cake.last but not least the venue where the dinner was held was so freaking GORGEOUS! I Have so much good things to say about Jodi and her company. if you're questioning whether to choose barefoot beach bride , DO IT! you will not regret it . Thank you so much jodi and everyone at barefoot beach bride for helping and giving us such a memorable wedding .

We had our wedding on July 4th 2018. What a great experience we had with this company. I changed things last minute without a problem. I highly recommend them to make your dream wedding possible!

Boardwalk photos are fun with the wedding party

I can't even begin to explain how incredible Jodie and her team were. She made sure every detail was taken care of and any issue she had i never knew about. The wedding was perfect better than i could have ever imagined. Through all the obstacles she made sure i was taken care of and my mind was out at ease. And she had fun with us keeping us laughing the entire time. If your looking to plan a wedding big or small in Ocean City do not hesitate. Jodie and her team will most definetly be the best decision you can make for planning your day.

With being in school full time and working full time, I was more than happy to have someone take over all of the wedding coordination. I just made a few decisions and basically just show up for my wedding. Jodie and her staff did it all and she made my wedding day perfect!

We loved, loved, loved this cake! Romantic Wave Cake in Aqua with our own cake topper and a "sandy" top tier! Perfect!

It was not clear on the website when making reservations that the menus posted were not for the igloos. Even items we asked about on the menus provided were not available (menu said available until 3 pm in igloo, it was 200 but still told no- yet we also couldn't get the steak or rockfish in the igloo. As well, previous igloo visit options provided fondue for 2 (not 5!) and could be altered for one meat and one seafood eater however this time we would've had to at $240 to get both. At minimum $120+$10-$12 extra to add one skewer. Although the ambiance is an "experience" it was not a satisfying culinary experience. As well, it was not clear we couldn't divide our checks up amongst each couple as most all restaurants can do. (Can only do 2 checks, we had 3 couples) It was more cumbersome on the waitress and us than just charging each couple one bill, we weren't sharing food or said put half this on each etc. it was clearly just 3 couples. As for what we did get... if crab dip hadn't had a shell in it I wouldn't have believed it had any crab in it, just cheese flavor. Steak skewer was well done (no choice given) yet veggies were aldente (to say the least). Wine was good but limited selection. I really don't understand why I can eat one think inside yet can't 20' away we would've had a much better experience if some accommodating had been offered on any of the above issues.

The food was hit or miss - starting with the good, the sausage board was tasty but more of a snack situation and the flatbread looked delicious (and my family said it tasted delicious too) but they were out of all the gluten free options unfortunately. The cheese board was definitely the biggest disappointment - it was $50 and came out just lumped with cheese and meat on two boards. For the price I was expecting something special with the accompaniments they mentioned but it was one of the most basic boards I've been served. The cheeses were okay and same with the meats, no prosciutto or fruit or really anything to warrant the $50. Bummer since you want cheese with your wine!

Check in was easy and efficient and our room was in the adjoining house with a large great-room that was stunning available to everyone staying there with a fireplace, large kitchen, sitting area and dining table. I loved that their sign said to please vacate by 9pm bc our room was on the third floor directly across the hall from it and right beside the community half-bath servicing it and the room had no soundproofing at all. You could hear even minimal talking from that great room (and it doesn't have a door). That is my only complaint about this Inn. The provided breakfast daily was wonderful. The first day we had quiche and the second we had chocolate chip pancakes. All made fresh when you sit down and included sides, coffee, fruit, and yogurt. Really delicious and good quality and the staff were so nice. My husband is diabetic and they easily modified the options to meet his lower carb/sugar request. They also have daily evening tea with a sweet treat which is fun and coffee, tea, and lemon water are available all day and night. Our room was beautiful and looked exactly like the photos and the inn is so charming. Perfect landscaping, all common areas are so cute, and the location is to die for right on the beach, with access to the sand just steps from the lovely wrap-around porch. We were unlucky and it was basically a freezing Nor'easter the weekend we came, so we didn't get to enjoy the beach, the bikes, or any of the out door amenities - but we still found it charming and enjoyed both the Inn and the town. Hopefully, we can come back again in the fall and enjoy milder weather.

The ocean is the best part - you can't beat ocean front property and views. Their service is top-notch - welcoming, accommodating, and great attention to detail. I felt like I was in a 5 star hotel, but even better, it is an old charming, turn of the century, quaint home experience. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. Amenities are great at no extra cost - I took advantage of their bikes and yoga mat! I love that they invite you to stay after check-out to continue to enjoy the property. And watching the sunrise over the water was the icing on the cake. Normally, their rates would be beyond my budget, but with the WinterEscape promotion of 20% off, it was very reasonable. I will definitely be back!

I was happy to be able to find a hotel in ocean city for the stay with the family. I was very excited until the day before when it attempted to charge my card the day BEFORE instead of "pay at property". This was my first red flag but the call I had with the lady gave me hopes that it would be a good experience. We were able to get a good view of the ocean, the crib was available, everything was good so far. I was not happy that the parking was a separate pay of $10 AND a $25 deposit required. These were things I was not aware of. The hotel does have indoor and outdoor pool. While the outdoor pool is seasonal, it looks more accommodating to a small amount of people. The indoor pool was very disappointing. Pure smell of chlorine, water looked foggy. Kids were in the hot tub! I don't mind the kids, I am just surprised with the lack of supervision for the rules placed. I don't think I'd come back to this one.

At the end of April, it is still off-season, but Ocean City is starting to wake up. This weekend is Springfest, so lots of hotels and restaurants were starting to book up. I was welcomed warmly at the front desk. They gave me a higher floor room, as requested, #620. The room category was an Oceanfront Suite with Two Queens, Pool View. They have been doing some renovations, and while this property has been here for quite a while, we were very pleased with how fresh and nice the room is. There was a spectacular view, a tub in the bathroom, a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave & dishwasher, and a balcony with table and chairs. The beds were very comfortable and the bed linens were very nice. We enjoyed our morning coffee with views of the sunrise. The outdoor pools are not open yet, but the indoor pool was great. There are two hot tubs on a platform by the indoor pool. It was all clean and well kept. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

The included breakfast was below Hyatt standards. I felt like service was also a little below Hyatt standards - it seems like they try to very strictly enforce the Hyatt breakfast rules which creates friction for the 99% of people who are eligible anyway. He was on point throughout our entire dinner from the first hello to the end. For starters we were served rolls with tri-butter ensemble, followed by the TR crab dip appetizer served with house made potato crisps. Decadent and creamy there was lump crabmeat in every bite. It is worthy to mention Ashore Resorts where Tide Room is located is a registered True Blue Restaurant that serves authentic Maryland blue crab. We also had the baby arugula and kale salad and it was cool with crisp greens. A well balance of the goat cheese gives this salad A+ for pre-dinner enticements. For beverages we had an array of selections - En Fuego, Cloud 9, and OC Old Fashioned. All were great, my old Fashioned was strong *wink! For dinner, we had the Blue Crab Truffle Carbonara, and the 10oz. A4 Wagyu Coulotte. Everyone enjoyed their entrées. A simple modification for my carbonara with gemelli instead of ziti was granted and I was a happy gal. I appreciate the balance of the pasta to crab ratio. Generously portioned this dish! The 10oz. wagyu prepared medium was a highlight... the marbling and that fat cap was incredible, it was so buttery tender. The ambience is bright and the open dining space welcomes loud chatter! Definitely book reservations if you can, and specify indoor/outdoor, by the window, and booths are best for couples no more than 2.
