I am not a local and moved here about 3 years ago. I have very thin nails and they break or split…read moreif I don't have nail dip on them. I went to several different salons in the area and mostly had disastrous results. Like I said, my nails are thin, so you have to be very careful on how far you sand them down because it doesn't take much to take too much off and cause pain, also I have the added bonus of not being able to do the UV light because it causes a reaction on my cuticles causing blisters and horrible itching. No one can tell me why. Anyways, after many horrible experiences I landed here and from the start I told them all of my issues hoping I wasn't sounding like a Karen customer, but they listened to my issues took them seriously and have been taking care of me ever since. I WONT go anywhere else. I love all of the technicians there.

First, I want to say that my friend and I came in as walk ins on a Sunday. The manicure and pedicure both took a little while to do, more than normal, when I only got a regular gel pedicure and a detailed manicure. Overall, it definitely took longer than an hour so not the place to go to if you're in a rush. And my gel manicure and pedicure turned out to be $90 too which is much more expensive than I was expecting. However, everyone was friendly, and despite being busier than normal and it being a holiday weekend they were able to squeeze us in which we appreciated very much! Inside, it was clean and light music played so the atmosphere was nice as well. That being said, the nails turned out great and we will be going again!

I don't review on Yelp often, but I had such a postive experience with GlamHouse Day Spa, that I…read morehave to. My sister recently got married and I was assisting as her Maid of Honor. I was in charge of arranging hair and makeup for the bridesmaids, flower girls, and the mother of the bride. I was a little overwhelmed at first, but GlamHouse Day Spa helped address all of my concerns. Their staff is so kind and easy to work with. Everything went so smoothly. While the salon doesn't have an in-house hair stylist as part of the wedding contract, they were able to put me in touch with a great hair stylist they worked with regularly. The bride and I came for a trial a month before the wedding and got to meet her hair and makeup stylist. They were great communicators and helped make sure my sister got the looks she wanted. We were so happy with their staff, the salon setting, and products, that we additionally scheduled manicures for the day before the wedding. (its been two weeks since the wedding and my nails still look great!) The morning of the wedding went perfectly. We had opted to have hair and makeup done at the salon rather than at the venue. They gave us plenty of space to set up a breakfast spread and allowed us to play our own wedding playlist. I also really appreciated how kind the staff was with our flower girls (who were a little apprehensive about getting their hair done) and also with members of our party who were not everyday makeup wearers and were unsure of what they should have. I am thankful for their patience and encouragement. Everyone was ready on-time and everyone looked fabulous. A big thanks to everyone I worked with; Becky, Lil, Lauren, and Leigh Ann. I highly recommend using them for wedding related salon services!

They ignored me for about 20 minutes, it wasn't until I started to put my socks and shoes back on that they started to pay any attention to me. The lady doing my mom's feet did not allow her feet to soak in the water for any longer than 30 seconds at most. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied.

Absolutely not. Never again. This was my first time coming to this place, due to time constraints,…read moreand they were the only ones open. They were busy, and I paid for a deluxe pedicure, and got a normal manicure on my natural nails. I always do my nails myself, ALWAYS, because nowhere does them like they are supposed too anymore, but today, it was gonna be a busy weekend, so I thought "Why not?" Big mistake. Let's start with the basics. I came in, right when they opened, and several people walked in after me. Fine. So.... This deluxe pedicure I paid for? My water was like warm, at best, and she kept leaving to take care of other people/walk in, letting my water get colder and colder. After about 20 minutes of this, I started to get pretty angry. I mean, my water was almost cold at this point. The scrub the used was fine, but she barely massaged my legs, slathered me with so much lotion it was dripping off my legs, and then left again, for some man to come put the warm towels on me. These towels weren't warm, they were scalding hot. (This is coming from someone who takes hot as crap showers, so for these towels to burn me, is saying something). I jumped because they were so hot Someone else then came to finish massaging me. I use that term loosely. Time for my manicure now, since apparently they are done. First, I have pretty long natural nails, and I keep up with them. To the point where, nightly I use cuticle oil, and file and shape them once a week. Sometimes twice. My hands were put in a very small bowl of lukewarm water, so solution.... For maybe one minute. She took them out, shaped with a file made for acrylics, ON MY NATURAL NAILS, ended up making them jagged, and crooked. Got up three times just for this process to help out other walk ins.... While she was gone, I picked another file, and started filing them myself!!!!! I made them even. She didn't cut my cuticles, only went around with some lotion and made them jagged and gross looking. Then painted them so sloppily, it looked like a 10 year old did it. My top coat was so thick and gooey, that even when it dried, it looked like someone touched all 10 of my nails. I'll be uploading pictures when I figure out how. This is absolutely absurd. I'm so pissed. I'm going to Sally's now to buy this color, take this one off, and then redo them my damn self.
