Tara worked to fix my lashes, removing the bad lashes. Longmi has the most extensive variety of lashes I have ever seen and I almost cried tears of joy when I saw my new, beautiful lashes. One thing I look at in Yelp reviews is honest reviewers. If you leave a bad review- and it's your…read morefirst review, or you are only capable of leaving negative reviews, I don't trust your review. That said, I wanted to leave this review because of my shock over a recent review. My experience with Longmi has been overall very positive. I will say, on a business level, the owner has some things to work out, but from a technician standpoint, Tara has been fabulous. I have developed a slight allergy to the glue (btw- NOT uncommon and I know this from my line of work) and she has worked diligently with me to solve the problem and help it. I get compliments all the time on my lashes and due to my travel, have had to have fills in other states and not ONCE has anyone stated that my current lashes were incorrectly adhered or a problem. Due to the fact that the owner runs very short handed, appointments are at a premium. If you miss yours, it might take awhile to get back in. This isn't a technician problem. Plan accordingly! Tara's a great empath. My lashes are fab!

I also called on the way to ask about parking and no one picked up. (tip: there is a small amount of free business parking in the covered lot behind the building. Turn from the road or enter from the alley). The space itself was nice. I was a first-time customer, and it felt a little like puling teeth to understand what to expect when speaking with the person who did my lashes. My technician did a beautiful job and was much better explaining the after-lash extension care than the process at the beginning. It did take about an hour for a partial fill, and I listened to an audiobook during it. I also got brow threading and that technician was great- friendly and knowledgeable! I would go back, but if you have questions, I recommend trying to get someone on the phone first.

Super disappointed that I wasted time and gas just to be standing outside the door. After my second phone call at 1:41 I was told simply something urgent came up. Really disappointed and upset with this experience, she did offer half off but I planned my day around this! Incredibly hesitant to utilize services with an establishment that didn't even give me a heads up or try to move the appointment around BEFORE I left work and drove out here and stood around for 20+ minutes. (I was 10 minutes early.) I will be extremely upset if my card gets charged for services not provided. UPDATE: I am adding screenshots of my correspondence with Alison yesterday after calling me twice and texting me three times and her "respectfully asking" me to take down my reviews and stop posting them. NOTE my review was 100% truthful, I find it horrifically unprofessional of Alison to continue to blow my phone up pressuring me to delete my reviews. Additionally after my cease and desist request she responded stating I was the worst experience in 4 years of business and she'd never contact me again yet hours later posted replies to my reviews trying to control the narrative. To be clear the ONLY reason she "talked with me within 10 minutes of the appointment" was because it was my second time calling HER after her no call no show. Initially she said something urgent came up and later has since said it was a scheduling error despite my having text and email confirmation. ***** FYI one of the screenshots is from last evening around 7 pm before she posted responses on my reviews trying to cover up her lack of professionalism- the others are screenshots of the texts and messages showcasing her outrageous attempts to influence my 100% honest review of my experience with her followed by my text (also screenshot) to her to stop trying to influence the reviews by blowing up my phone with calls and texts. I received the reply wherein she said I was the worst experience in 4 years of business. Then hours later she posted replies making it seem like she was 100% trying to rectify the situation. Did she offer half off, yes. Was I unable to take her up on that offer? Yes. Did I post my reviews in fear of my card being charged even though she was a no call no show because of a review from another woman who stated Alison didn't show up and her card was charged $375, so I made sure to protect myself best I could from that happening? Also yes. This entire experience has by far been the absolute most ridiculous experience dealing with a business who were 100% in the wrong and I would never recommend this woman's services due to her wildly unprofessional behavior, her clear inability to be honest, and her thinking calling and texting someone 5 times telling them to take down/stop posting negative reviews is "reaching out to apologize"

I sit in the chair and show the reference pic of a basic natural square french tip. Ken said he got it no problem. He begins my nails and was rough with the drill I let him know and he shoo'd me off and continued. I mentioned I wanted a medium pink powder before he laid any acrylic he said he will paint over it with a darker pink and it'll look like the pic. I mentioned the powder is really light specifically on my skin it looked like pink/white powder and he said he does things different and not like others and will be darker. We move forward, he files them and tells me to wash my hands I tell him it's a little uneven on my middle nails and he shoo'd me off again saying he will fix it later. When I get back he files it and that nail is significantly shorter than the rest but I let it go and then he begins painting my nails. I look at it before I put it in the dryer and he said no put it in the dryer I told him I wanted to check the color in case I didn't like it and he said no you check as i'm painting .. when I couldn't see it as he was painting them because how he was rushing. I said is there another pink to use because it didn't look natural and the pink he put on was practically red he told me no I said do you have a bubble bath he said "no we don't have any of that". and just kept going and kept dismissing me. I wanted to like them but I didn't. So I paid and as i'm heading to leave I see two different pinks and the pink powder that one of the other techs was using. So I went back and asked to speak to someone. I showed the manager the reference picture and mentioned what he told me the manager immediately corrected with "we do have more pinks and the pink powder etc I can redo them for you." He lied to me and did what he wanted to do on my nails. It seemed as though he was rushing to get me in and out because they were busy and didn't want to wait for the actual powder and polish that I wanted while also doing a sloppy job too. When the manager said they would fix them I was extremely understanding, and patient when she said to give her an hour but then I waited almost 3 hours for them to even get me back in the chair as they took multiple walk-in's. They had my money already and I wasn't a priority anymore. I got there at 3pm and finished with Ken at 3:45. and didn't actually ended up leaving until an hr past close at almost 7pm. When I asked for a refund while waiting to get taken care of, the managers' whole dynamic changed! She went from helpful to aggressive and was yelling to her coworkers in their language mentioning refund and even rushed the girl that was in her chair out to tell me to sit down so she can fix it because she wasn't going to give me a refund. She became condescending and rude to me and even tried arguing with me. It was a distasteful experience overall and It happened to be my first time here.
